I called Bob on a Saturday. He was here on Sunday to give an estimate. It took a few days to get the permit. But Bob was there on Friday doing the form. Once again it took a few days to get a form inspection but as soon as I received it Bob was back to finish the job.I was very satisfied with Bob's service

I was very pleased with Mr. Byars and his company in many ways. He was prompt both for the estimate appointment and for the job itself. He cleaned up after himself and left no mess to deal with. He is personable and listened to my all concerns and addressed every one. I can't think of anything more I could have asked for that he didn't do - many without my even asking. Highly recommended.

I hired Bobby to pour an 8 x 10 slab for a new shed I put out back. He responded promptly to my request for an estimate and we setup a good time to begin work. He arrived promptly on the day agreed to and framed out the slab. After the inspection was completed, he returned to pour the slab and once set, removed the frame and cleaned up everything. The charge was exactly as quoted in the estimate. I plan to use Bobby again for my patio slab repairs.

The result was great. The area previously had bad drainage when it rained. Bob designed the sidewalk slope and installed required drains so the water can now drain properly. He came when he said he would and was very patient with the unexepected delays due HOA required changes to the layout. The job required significant escavation and they took away the excess dirt. I would recommend them to others.

I found Robert Byar on Angie's List and called him about repairing damage to my driveway. He responded quickly with an estimate and the $800 repair was completed within a few days from my first call. I then had Mr. Byar come back several weeks later to extend my patio. Once again he responded quickly with an estimate and a few days later I had a new patio. The patio job was done quickly and efficiently, and when I realized that I should treat the ground for termites prior to the pour, he and his men dug out the the required trench so I could apply the termidor, and he sprayed the rest of the ground for me.I felt comfortable having Mr. Byar and his men work at my home. They were there when they said they would be and they were on time. Robert Byar was responsive, professional, and worked quickly. I will not hesitate to call upon him for my future concrete needs.

Bob was quick to return my call, came right out to give us an estimate, and did the work quickly and efficiently. They moved and stacked existing pavers at no additional cost We are very happy with the results and the courtesy of his crew. Would definitely recommend this company.

Robert responded promptly to our request for an estimate and explained in detail how he would accomplish the repair. His estimate was significantly higher than one other estimate we received. I called him to question why there was such a difference in estimates and he explained to our satisfaction why his cost was higher. His approach was structurally sound with extensive steel reinforcement vs cosmetic. We hired him and worked started in about a week. Work was done on schedule and as promised. We have a solid barrier that is much better than the original and should last a lifetime. Work area was kept neat, spinklers were not damaged and the finished product looks great. Robert was back early the morning after most of the project was finished to make sure the final coat of stucco was finished just right. He is truly a perfectionist and we appreciate his craftsmanship and attention to detail. We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone wishing to have high quality concrete work done.

GREAT experience. Bob came the same day I called him and provided an estimate. He started the work the following week. He always returned phone calls and showed up when he said he would. Bob is a very nice man and a true professional; it was a pleasure having him work at my home. Arrived first day at 7:10 am, removed broken concrete in front, removed shrubbery, then removed rotted porch floor and shrubs in back. Subsequently laid forms. Second day, arrived at 6:45 am. Concrete was delivered and poured and they set about leveling it, etc. Later in the day, forms were removed. He was paid in full at this point. He did not ask for a deposit up front. Third day, arrived at 8:20 am. Hosed down all the new concrete, made some necessary cuts in the back patio so it wouldn't crack in the future and replaced all my furniture. Bob and his men were neat, conscientious and did an outstanding job. They cleaned up after themselves each day and removed all debris. I was especially grateful that they were VERY nice to my dogs and were always aware of the gates being closed. I previously had a concrete patio installed when I lived up north. It was a complete nightmare. It took them 93 (yes, I said 93) days because they would disappear for weeks at a time. Paid half up front. I had to live with a ramp from my front door for months, after just having ankle surgery and using a walker and then crutches. My property was a complete mess for the entire summer. At the end, they wanted final payment and we only gave a partial payment because there were many issues that needed to be address and I knew they wouldn't return to correct the problems if I paid them in full. When I complained about the mess and the time it took, they insisted it was due to rain. This was not true; I gave them a breakdown of rainy days for that period; it had rained a total of seven days in the 93 day period. They never returned, and left we with a somewhat unfinished patio, and never asked for or received final payment. I would have gladly paid them, but they never finished the job! Bob, on the other hand, made this so easy and painless and did an excellent, very professional job. My new patios and walkway look fabulous. I would not hesitate to recommend Bob to anyone.

Bob and crew did a fantastic job. They were very careful not to damage sprinklers and lawn unnecessarily. They removed roots which had been cause of damage to sidewalk, driveways and planter. They worked a long day removing the items and setting the forms. Spent part of each of two days pouring concrete, grooving, smoothing/brushing the concrete, removing the forms and stuccoing the house and pillars. They spent extra time making sure everything was completely finished and looking excellent. Their cleanup up each day and at end of job was outstanding. An enjoyable crew to work with. They even rehung the two gates on the new pillars. Great job!

Robert Byars gave us an estimate for the work, which was nearly the same as a previous estimate we had received, so we considered it a fair price for the work. We chose him because of his high rating on Angie's List. We had a little problem resolving the details of his bid, because he never received our email responses to his email bid. We connected by phone and got it resolved. We couldn't be more pleased with his work. He was assisted by his son-in-law, who has his own concrete business, and two other men. All four seemed skilled in what they did. They were very attentive to details and took pride in the quality of their work. They were pleasant to chat with and didn't mind us out there watching and taking pictures of the work in progress. They delayed the pouring of the concrete one day, because the weather was so cold on the scheduled day. They communicated that delay to us and the reason why, and we appreciated that they did the right thing rather than hurry through to get the job done. If we ever need concrete work again, I can't imagine ever calling anyone else.

I called Robert and due to my schedule conflicts had to delay the work. Once I could be at home to show him what need to be done, he was very responsive. He came over and assessed the work and what could be done without re-doing the entire driveway. He made recommendations as well as included the removal of the root underneath that caused the damage (I've seen work of others where they only tear out the concrete and then just go back over it with some small wire, which only causes it to lift again later). He also did a great job at drilling into the remaining walk and adding rebar to improve the fidelity of the walk with the driveway. Robert and his crew showed up promptly when he said he would and had the work done at the time he said he would. He marked off the area with tape for us to help ensure we prevent folks from walking through his work (although a visitor almost ruined his work!). After leaving the concrete to cure for 2 days, it is a nice smooth surface, improving our curb appeal and no longer a potential tripping hazard to walkers in our neighborhood.

SHowed up on time and started job as described and worked straight through until it was finished. Trust with any job.

I originally conacted Robert because he was on Angie's List and was local. He was very responsive, and was able to adjust his schedule to conform to the delays in obtaining HOA approval and the city permit. As it turned out, the unexpected delay in getting final HOA approval pushed the completion date up to the time we had to leave on a trip, and the pouring hadn't occurred as yet. He had impressed us enough with his integrity that we were comfortable having him finish the job in our absence. He did everything expected and was totally professional. We would rcommend him without qualification.

Bob Byars is a professional who has been in the concrete business for over 30 years. His quote for the project was reasonable and the project was completed as quoted and as scheduled (3 days). Mr. Byars is from the old school where EVERYTHING is done right from the beginning to the very end. We were given a variety of options to choose from and the final product is outstanding.
