Description of Work: They changed out the circuit board in our old garage door opener. A new opener would have cost over $400, which included remotes. We were given a choice to spend $190 which included a new inside button & 1 remote for $190 or $400+ for a new opener. Very knowledgable & very professional!

Description of Work: He replaced a spring on the garage door. He also suggested we order a new belt for it because it was still under warranty and it usually takes 2 weeks to get it. This way we would have it on hamd if it breaks.

Description of Work: replaced broken spring. garage door was a home depot door and the springs were non conventional (weird). they replaced the entire springs (2) and sprocket and didn't charge an arm and let. They were very courteous and professional. very nice people to deal with. All American type

Description of Work: Our garage door opener quit working and I picked the Garage Door Man because of the reviews on Angie's List. And it was a good choice. He gave us a price on a new unit which he had to order but I had reservations because i wanted to see if our old one could be repaired. (But didn't want to pay for a service call only to have to order a new one anyway.) He said he'd order it anyway, that way if he couldn't repair it, he'd be ready to replace it and wouldn't charge me a service call. Then it just so happened that on his way to do the job our power went out. At that point my husband thought it best just to replace it since we did have the old one longer than its average life. And he was able to install it with no power and offers to come back to adjust it if needed- but it worked perfectly when the power came back on.

Description of Work: Our garage door roller fell off the tracks. We couldn't close it. We knew our garage door had other problems. It didn't close completely. It was too noisy. Occassionally I had to really hold down the button. We'd been discouraged to seek these other repairs because we had called another company Precision Garage Door who gave us a large estimate ($1000).. But when the door came off its tracks..we had to do something. First he got it back on it's tracks. Then Terry lowered the hardware holding the garage door opener -- He had to rehang it completely (the original contractor never had done it right). He fixed some guide wires--which eliminated the needing to hold the button down issue. He replaced the key hook that connected the track to the door. He performed other maintenance. The garage door is quieter than it has ever been. It is also closing completely with no gap on the bottom. The price for all ot it was $200.
