Description of Work: Miscellaneous jobs inside and outside the house. I was very pleased with the work.

Description of Work: We hired My Handy Craftsman to perform miscellaneous handyman jobs: hang large pictures; re-hang clothes pole in bedroom closet that had come out of the wall; install brass doorbell press; hang copper sculpture outside above garage door. Adam was on time, professional, knowledgeable and friendly and worked quickly. He went to the store to purchase items he needed and stayed within the estimate. We wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Description of Work: The first time i used the service, i was relatively impressed (all was good except a fan was installed incorrectly) and decided to use them again. The second time (using the same technician) was a disaster. I had a priority list (install fans, install lights, etc.) and told him to only start what he could finish that day. He started a little bit of everything on the list and only finished about 3/4 of the items. Then he told me that he stayed up all night because of his 2nd job and that he was too tired to continue. He told me that he needed to leave, but that he'd be back tomorrow to finish the work. I had arranged for my family to be away from the house that day so the handyman could do all of his work, and to do that for a second day was not feasible. We worked it out where he would arrive extremely early the next day to finish the work. When he did finish the job, one of the fans didn't work and one of the lights had a large hole in the dry wall (and the list was only involved 5 items.) After 2 days of this, my attitude was - here's your money, get the F out of my house.

Description of Work: Had some household items to get fixed. They were right on time and the price was well worth it. Will be using them again.

Description of Work: I had a formal fireplace mantal removed and refaced the wall with stone and from floor to ceiling. I also has a rustic wood mantal installed. I'm still working on getting the hearth picked out and installed so that is not included in the price shown. |It was done fairly quickly. Mark was very nice to work with. He asked how I wanted it to look and made sure I liked it as it was going up. |Mark also worked well with a few other contractors that needed to move some wires and got in the way a few times. | |I have already hired them to do more work. |

Description of Work: I had several items that needed attention, some light plumbing, a bathroom light that hasn't worked properly for years, my screen door that didn't close properly, and some other things. Bob was very pleasant, arrived on time and worked diligently. I would definitely call My Handy Craftsman again.

Description of Work: Bob showed up on time and completed the job just as expected. We would definitely use them again as they did a fantastic job!

Description of Work: Handyman did minor household repairs: Removed two exterior lights and one indoor pendant light, reattached split cabinet door and closet door, replaced stair tread, installed smoke alarms, caulked bathtubs. Handyman called to let me know he would be a bit late (said he needed to go home to give his wife breakfast first). He was courteous and friendly. Unfortunately, he caulked (without being asked) a crack in the tile floor which did not cover up crack, but instead left a mess. Caulking was poorly done in bathroom. Remaining work was fine.

Description of Work: They retiled my shower, replaced the shower fixtures and shower door, fixed the ceiling in the living room after a leak, painted the ceiling in the LR , DR and hall.

Description of Work: I received 3 hrs of handyman service from JB doing multiple jobs including putting twelve newly covered seats back onto the chairs, replacing a dryer vent, installing a new kitchen faucet and caulking a sink. He was very professional, friendly and I would definitely have him back.

Description of Work: I contact My Handy Craftsman and received bids for two projects. I was told the labor cost was $60/hour with a minimum of 2 hours. Total cost of the 2 projects was $120 and $360 for a total of $480. So, I scheduled one of the jobs. Later, I was called and told me if I had both jobs done at the same time I would get a 10% discount on both, so I did. I believed the labor cost as well as the materials cost were estimates, I was soon to find out that was not the case, nor did I receive the entire 10% discount as promised. Total labor cost charged was $450 not $432. The 2 jobs took 5 hours not the estimated 8. When I asked for a reduction on the labor cost I was told we bid the price and no matter the time taken to completed the job there was no reduction in labor cost. I was happy with the work preformed but fell I was over charged and will not use this company again.

Description of Work: They installed 4 ceiling fans and one ceiling light along with a few other minor repairs. Brandon arrived right on time and worked diligently until he had all of the work done.

Description of Work: I was re-facing my fireplace and needed some carpentry work done prior to tile being installed. Bob made the mantle thicker to accommodate the width of the tile and removed two corbels. He than had to texture the wall and ceiling where the corbels were removed. He also had to do some drywall repair. He was very professional and worked the entire time he was in my home. Even though the job entailed a number of small jobs his time estimate was right on. I was very pleased with the final product as was the individual who was installing the tile. I plan on calling them for some additional work in the near future.

Description of Work: Declined to provide an estimate after he learned I was getting other estimates. Having this provider listed in AL is useless if an estimate can not be obtained.
