Description of Work: I ordered the services through Angie's list. Soon after they contacted me to arrange a date. We first settled on a date of Tuesday 8/11. I arranged to work from home that day so I could be there. They called me the week of 8/3 to say the bad weather has them behind so can we move the date. I understood and agreed to move the date to Friday 8/14 and they would be there at 830am. I again arranged to move my work from home day to that Friday. I also sent the handyman photos of the work I wanted done at his request so he would have an idea what needs to be done to take full advantage of the 4 hours. I like that he asked this. Friday morning I get a text from the handyman that he would now be at my house at 10 to 8am and he had already left his house so if I had issues with him being there at 10 to 8am it was probably too late so I should be ready. I waited for a phone call from our front gate to let him in and it never came. I noticed that I had my phone on DND at 8am and I had a message and a call from the handyman with a time stamp of 745am. It said that he had tried to get in my gate but no one answered the call from the front gate. I immediately called him back to have him try again to get in but he did not pick up. He eventually text me that he was already on the Howard frankland and we were going to have to reschedule. 1st issue: he waited less than 15 minutes before leaving. 2nd he was scheduled to be at my house for 4 hours. He could have tried a little harder to reach me. He already knew I was there as I had answered his text at 7am. 3rd I have no record of any call from my frontgate so he was obviously either not telling the truth or was at the wrong community. He said a female voice had answered from the frontgate box but our box rings my phone and my phone only so this was not our residence. 4th when I got a call from the office to reschedule there was no talk of the fact that the handyman left after only 15 minutes! This especially bothered since he was scheduled to be there for 4 hours ! If anything he kept trying and I go charged the time he waited. I am late requesting a refund because I was really torn about just getting the service done and then rating them on the work and the communication issues. But the more I thought about it the more I could not get passed the fact how little he was willing to work to reach me and wait a little longer. I don't want to paint the whole server because of this one person but then the way the person on the phone would not acknowledge that his guys was in the wrong I don't even care to try their service. I will look for another service through Angie's list however once I have my refund..

Description of Work: Needed 4 rafters on exterior of home replaced due to dry rot and this company did an excellent job. Ask for Paul. Great guy and knowledgable .

Description of Work: Lots of inside and outside maintenance. Paint, powerwash, fan install etc.

Description of Work: Bathroom exhaust fan ceiling repair. Since they charge a minimum per visit fee and the job would have taken at least two visits to complete, I chose to have prep work only done due to fee structure. So in that sense, a bit inconvenient.

Description of Work: Came out to give me an estimate for a floor over our garage. Didn't hear from them for two weeks, so I called. When I reached them I was told they were declining the job. The fact that they declined was not an issue, but that they didn't let me know was.

Description of Work: There was some unclarity or confusion about the price the office gave me over the phone compared to what the tech explained after arriving. After some discussion the tech mentioned that there may be a special running on Angies list. As it turned out it was still running so I didn't have to pay the unexpected higher price after all.

Description of Work: Patched some drywall, installed 3 terra cotta tiles that had been broken, installed 2 shelves. Ken did a great job and we would welcome him back!

Description of Work: They took forever to return my calls, took forever to come out and look at potential job. Made excuses about being busy but did apologize. They were supposed to give me a quote by now but I haven't heard from them after they came to look. I have contracted another company.

Description of Work: I had a few things that I needed to have done. Installation of a toilet, 5 light fixtures installed and a ceiling fan rewired. It took about 5 hours to complete everything but I was very happy with the results and so glad I could get it all taken care of in one day! I will definitely be using them again!
