Description of Work: Removed old caulking and re-caulked between the tile and baseboard in one room.Without being asked, he caulked other areas that needed it. You don't get that kind of service anymore. Nice man, good work ethic.

Description of Work: I was treated courteously and respectfully. Even though I only had a small job that needed to be done, installing a storm door, I was treated as if I was spending thousands of dollars. The craftsman had some difficulty arriving for the scheduled appointment due to a vehicle break down, but he rescheduled at my convenience and arrived on time. The job turned out to be a bit more complicated than it appeared at first, but he made sure it was done to my satisfaction. I am truly pleased with this company and will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I called them to fix a fence and replace a small area of wood decking in the back yard. The man that came out determined they couldn't (or wouldn't) do the fence. However, he said he would get pricing on the decking, prepare a proposal and get back to me. I never heard from them again.

Description of Work: Repairs to our soffit and facia. Also completed a job on our living room ceiling started by someone else and it turned out beautifully! This job involved finishing up the drywall on the ceiling and painting. They did a wonderful job (it all really looks great!) and I would use them again in a minute.

Description of Work: The first worker wasn't able to do the job so another was scheduled after a few days. The second man did a fine job and I would use their service again.

Description of Work: Jim is a super great guy. Very nice, friendly and professional. He installed fabric vertical blinds in our master bedroom. Added handles (11) to our master bathroom cabinets and drawers. Installed an adjustable curved fixed shower rod in our guest bathroom. A week prior he also removed all of our cabinets in our garage, stucco and painted afterwards to prep for our new cabinets to be installed next week. Very happy with all work and would definitely use him again.

Description of Work: They did several minor jobs throughout my house ranging from minor plumbing to replacing a ceiling fan. It went very well. All work was completely to my satisfaction and in less time than than estimated. In fact, there was a reduction in the labor cost due to this which was greatly appreciated.

Description of Work: Very nice people but work was not the best. I called them back after realizing wood on gate was broken and gutters not really cleaned. He returned but leaves left on ground from gutters and gate still barely opens and closes. Will have to hire someone else to fix the gate again considering it has just continually fallen apart.

Description of Work: They shored up the cabinet under the kitchen sink. It was looking like the whole thing would need to be replaced, but the problem was scoped out and fixed in no time. They also took care of some other small items so we could "use up" the rest of the hours we purchased as a Big Deal. We are very satisfied!

Description of Work: We had a time sensitive situation after another vendor failed to follow up with us after giving an estimate . We called Handy Craftsman who was prompt and tile replaced in bathroom to meet our deadline. They also installed a shower glass panel and repaired some grout in another bathroom. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication between the vendor and the contractor actually doing the work. This resulted in tiles having to be removed and replaced with tiles of a different color. When those tiles were installed they we not lined up with the existing tile resulting in a shift in the grout line. Since we supplied the tiles there were not enough left to start again and completely correct the mistake. After the job was completed there was an additional charge for the grout and tile adhesive.

Description of Work: Arranged an appointment with my daughter, which is hard given her schedule. Yard work, caulking, etc. Very prompt, polite, professional, accommodating of long-distance billing.

Description of Work: Removed and replaced some damaged siding on the exterior of the house. The work could not all be completed because on removal of one section termite damage was found and I needed to get Massey in to inspect since the house is bonded against termite damage. I was pleased with the work that was done by My Handy Craftman. I do have one recommendation for the company. Their workers should remove the debri totally from the premises and not discard of it in the homeowner's receptacle. This homeowner got stuck by one of the rusty nails and needed to go to the urgent care for a tetanus shot.

Description of Work: They worked on 1 area that didn't need so much attention yet didn't get to the items that also needed to get finished. I had a list of 4-5 items change faucet in bathroom, check shower handle in master bathroom, a door sweep for front door, check dishwasher and surrounding area and finally reconnect the wires in the bathroom where the last person from that company crossed the wires so we didn't have electricity in the wall switch in the bathroom. What was done? I think they threw away the dishwasher without my permission, and all he did was work on the cabinet where the dishwasher is due to some water damage from the broken appliance. Did it really need to take all day (8 hours)? Now, I decided to hire them for the 1/2 day the next day and they said they didn't feel comfortable working there and to find someone else. Seriously??? Now that they charged me for a full day and parts... This is unbelievable!

Description of Work: Disappointed. This provider sent a sub to do the "work". The worker was NOT qualified. Did some work. We decided to pay and NOT contact Angie's List again.

Description of Work: The provider scheduled a day and time to come by but cancelled 30 min. prior to scheduled time and never called back to reschedule when he said he would. I had to call him three times before he finally admitted he was too busy to help. In my opinion he should not have committed if he was too busy in the first place
