Kevin was the persona who came and he was great. Very fast worker and really knew what to do on these items. Even said after completion if later we found something not to our satisfaction he would come back and fix it. I have used this company now about 4 or 5 times and I have been satisfied each time.

Everything went very well. Robert was prompt, polite and efficient. He explained everything to our satisfaction. It turned out to be a much bigger job than he had anticipated because of corrosion on the water pipes. He told us up front that he might damage the pipe by grinding it off. Fortunately that didn't happen. The motion sensor lights still do not work properly but I am confident that My Handy Craftsman will resolve it or direct us to someone who can.

This was our second attempt at installation for a kitchen sink. . We had purchased this sink from one of the big box home improvement centers along with the installation. When their installer arrived he stated that he was unable to perform the installation as the new sink was slightly larger than the old. This was known at the time of ordering. The big box store was unable to get someone out to do the installation. We decided to try again with My Handyman. When Kevin arrived (on time) he immediately got to work after approval of the price quote. It turned out to be a problematic installation as the sink basins did not align with the old plumbing. This was for a three basin sink. Kevin stuck with it and was able to complete the installation to my satisfaction. He ran over the quoted time and stood by the original quote. There was something of a mess during the installation as he had to trim the Corian countertop, but when he left the kitchen was clean. I will definitely be calling again for some additional projects.

Mark the handyman called first and then arrived on time as planned. He went right to work estimating the project and making recommendations on the best solution. Then after a quick trip to the store for needed supplies. He went straight to work on the project. Mark is one the of most hard working individuals that I have meet. He worked all day on the project, completed it and cleaned up late in the day. One of the best professional jobs with an eye on details that I have witnessed in a long time. Mark and the My Handy Craftsman are now permanently on my call list for future work.

He is absolutely wonderful. He has done many tasks for me and is on time, courteous and just wonderful.

From the very beginning we were impressed with the professionalism of Micheal from My Handy Craftsman. When Robert started the job we knew right away we had made the right choice. He was knowledgable and accessable. He was ready with suggestions and not afraid to let us know that we may be on the wrong track with any of the details, such as colors or knobs. It was clear as work progressed that he was taking a personal interest in the job. He truly seemed to love what he was doing. He even went on his own time to IKEA to help us pick out the cabinets We would definately use him again and would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Called Handy Craftsman as I had a couple of small jobs that needed to be taken care of and their Angie's listing indicated they did a wide variety of home repairs. First person who came indicated that he wasn't the right person for the combo of jobs. Second guy came and took care of it all over one afternoon and the next morning. What a relief to have one source/call for both my front storm door and the bedroom wall -- and then the dining room ceiling got painted/fixed too!

Originally I contacted them in July of 2013 via the angies list message center. I got a never got a reply to the message and really wasn't bothered by it, I just went search for other handymen. I got a voicemail from Jeff in Sept asking if i still needed a handyman. As the saying goes, good things come to those who wait. Mark was my handyman for the day and he was fantastic, very professional. We spoke on the phone the previously and I explained to him about my extremely busy schedule for the week. He was willing to reschedule and come at a later time. He explained what he could do (pluming, tile, etc etc) and he pretty much went to work on what I wanted, which was a small amount. He later showed me pictures of the tile work he completed previously. I told him I wanted to redo my master bathroom and he gave me a couple of ideas. Long story short, I couldn't have asked for better service. I will be contacting them again in the future!

Someone came and I told him everything I wanted to do. He told me who to contact for putting in a new glass enclosure for a shower stall and who to contact to reglaze the tubs - but the rest he told me what to buy and arranged for a worker to come and do the work - two grab bars for the toilets and showers, a new ceiling hung shower rod, and replacing an exhaust fan for a bathroom. They were supposed to install two toilets, but since they were not traditional toilets (smooth sides with brackets inside rather than outside on the base), he suggested I call someone else. I felt I was dealing with a straight forward man and would work with him again. Because he could not do the toilets, the final price was well below the estimate. Also, he pointed out a problem in the tile work that had been done on the house before I bought it - you could actually reach up the top and put your hand between the tile and the wall - potential place for water to collect and do damage. He offered to do that work, but it was a simple job that I did myself.

Did a great job removing an old outdated wall unit and replacing with a new AC unit. Area surrounding the unit needed to be rebuilt since the old and new units were different sizes. Had to pay for the additional hours since the job took longer than the "deal" guidelines.

I would highly recommend this company. They were extremely profession and responsive to our call. Our handyman was prompt, polite, and very meticulous in cutting our tile to fit the smaller corner and around support structures. He did a great job in cleaning up and letting me know what was being done and the approximate time frame to compete the work. My husband and I will definitely call them again for our future projects and repairs.

The bead of caulk that was put in around baseboards is wiggly, bubbled up in some areas and non existent in other areas. It does not appear to me that the old caulk was ever completely removed. Needless to say, I do not have the fresh, new look that I was hoping to achieve. It was so poorly done that I chiseled some of it out that very night and will have my husband re-do it when he gets the time. I hate to leave negative comments but it was just a very unprofessional job.

Mark was on time (which can be a rarity these days). At first I wasn't sure exactly what could or couldn't be done to update the look and to fix the front of the home. It is a 60 yr. old home, but with Mark's creative thinking and sharp eye we were able to mesh my needs with his creativity and come up with something that turned out wonderful. Mark was up front, honest and hard working. It was especially hot the days he worked for us and he worked through the whole time without complaint. I would and will recommend Mark to people that I know. I rate my experience a 10 out of 10!!

Note: I did not include materials in the cost quoted above since that could vary. Our garage exterior entry door was completed rotted out along the bottom edge and sides. Due to the odd size of the door, we had previously purchased a custom fiberglass pre-hung door and hardware as its replacement but never got around to doing the installation ourselves. Mark called about a 1/2 hour before the scheduled appointment to confirm the work and directions to our home. He arrived on time and immediately prepared the estimate (5 hours of work plus $100 in materials). The rip out went without surprises. Prior to departing for supplies, Mark explained what was needed and why. He returned with the supplies, which ran $151; we used PVC products since the door is fairly exposed with only a minor overhang, which I gather is more expensive than wood. The job took more like 6 hours as it took a bit to get the door plumb in our early 70s home, but the original quote was honored. We are very pleased with the quality of the work and will definitely consider My Handy Craftsman the next time we decide we don't want to do a job ourselves. On a side note, I feel like Mark was deserving of a little bit of combat pay. The night before, evidently a turtle had gotten hit by a car and crawled into our yard to die. We had noticed the odor but hadn't yet located the source. Mark buried the turtle for us. Thanks!

My initial contact with My Handy Craftsman was via Angie's List chat and a subsequent phone call with Jeff. He responded promptly to my request for a quote, explained their pricing plan and labor rates and was able to give me a general quote. It was a nice surprise to know that they charge only cost for the materials. Jeff was easy to work with and I was pleased with the well managed process. Mark was our craftsman and he arrived on time and gave us a courtesy call to let us know he was on the way. I had to take a day off for this visit so I appreciated that he met our commitment time. Mark was courteous, friendly and was a pleasure to do business with. We are very pleased with the job and it looks terrific. Mark cleaned up the area and left everything just as it should be.

Provider arrived on time, had to make a trip for some extra parts. Returned completed work, done professionally and to my satisfaction. Little confusion on the final bill but when the provider owner called to check to see if Iwas happy it was immediately straightened out. Would use again.

The guy who came out was Rob and he did a really good job. He's meticulous, cleaned up after himself and it was a very fair price. He was personable, he made sure everything was done right and he was just fine.

Chris arrived right on time. He checked out what we wanted him to do and what was necessary to complete the job. He then started working and completed the jobs efficiently and neatly. He was a pleasant young man who was very respectful of our property. He cleaned up after the jobs were completed and left the house in great condition. We were left with a beautiful new stainless steel sink and a comfort height toilet, as well as safety bars in each bathroom in about four hours of work. He told us how to recycle our older, working toilet with Habitat for Humanity, and told us to put the sink out with the trash. I wouldn't hesitate to call My Family Handyman again.

The service worked out good. I purchased the deal for one reason, but when they came out they said they didn't have the extra keys to handle that. So they did some other jobs around the house. Then I had them estimate a more extensive job on replacing some siding for me. That was quite a big job. I was happy with it. They were just very helpful. They were informative too in terms of educating me about how things worked that I wanted to get done.

I wanted the roof replaced. Found structure would not stand up to replacement. Structure needs to be rebuilt.

Showed up on time. They expected us to get all the materials, which as confusing since we didn't know what was needed. Completed the work i. The expected timeframe

Ken did an excellent job. He arrived early and was very polite and professional. Hands down, I would recommend him. It was an absolute pleasure to work with him.

He was Johnny on the spot to call me, to come out and look at the area, and get back with me with a quote. He did follow up with me before I could even call him back to see what I thought of the quote. Unfortunately it was little bit more than that what I had budgeted for. I did happen to call him and he did answer the phone even though he was on vacation. He called me from the grocery store out of town and said, ‘I understand what you are saying and I think we have a miss communication here and I will certainly get back with you when I get back in the town’. I would like him to do the work because he seems to pick up on things that would have been crucial to doing the job and doing it well. Other than the price he just blew me out of water. I would like to utilize him and his name is Michael Hale. He sent me the price, proposal and called back about the proposal. He picked up on things that really made me think he knows how to do the job. I said to him, ‘your follow through and everything with me has been wonderful and I appreciate it and your price is more than what I budgeted for’ so he said he will get back to me once he is in town. The labor was going to $4800 and materials just under $1000 and that blew me out of the water for the tiny bathroom. I was keeping my tub and I already got tile and all that and I am also keeping my old toilet. He was very punctual. He needs to work on his communication.

Ken arrived early and surveyed the jobs and then supplied me with an estimate ($270.00) to complete all work. I did not have any of the needed replacement items and Ken went to the local Home Depot to pick them up (no profit made on parts) and returned with the items and all receipts. Work was completed efficiently and neatly and everything was functiong perfectly before Ken left. This company was a pleasure to deal with and they actually return your call. I have been attempting to find a handyman that would just respond and now I have one that I feel I can rely on.
