We have used Art at Marquis since 2007 and have been very happy with him. One of our two AC units has a slow coolant leak, and Art calls us when it's about to need a recharge (he pays attention). He comes out, refills it, and we're good for about another year. This time, we had to call. It wasn't Art. Apparently, he sold his business to another guy. We don't know for sure; the guy wouldn't give a straight answer. He didn't come out as quickly as Art used to. He stayed a long time. He looked at both of our units. He charged double what Art charged. Three days after he was here, our good unit froze up. It now has a coolant leak. I find that very curious. We called another company, recommended by a friend, and had the coolant of the former "good" unit topped off. We had to do it again-- in the space of about 10 weeks. And today, we had to do it again. It costs $1,500 to find a coolant leak, so instead, we'll replace the unit. I would NEVER use Marquis again. Art was efficient and honest and didn't over charge. This new guy isn't Art.

He came out and fixing the breakers and replacing parts, and reset relays. He always does great work. Art has been with us for at least 15 years, and he's always wonderful to work with.
Description of Work: The power pole got hit by lightning, and a few of the A/C units in our buildings went out.

Art, the owner of Marquis Air Conditioning Service did the annual maintenance and check-up of my central air conditioning system this morning. He is always very punctual and always keeps appointments. He did a thorough check of the air conditioner and the blower, then tested it for several minutes. He always checks freon levels. Art is very personable and friendly. He is also thorough with his work. I trust him to do all my AC work.

The work was done in a timely manner, the serviceman was very professional and explained the need for the part I have been using Marquis for the 30 years I've lived in Florida. My entire family also uses this company (my sister has been using them for over 40 years and my niece also uses them now that she has her own home.). They are very professional and do not try to talk you into services that are not really necessary. I've recommended this company to many people who have been very satisfied with their work, as well as the price. .Another service they provide is calling to remind you of the need to service the air conditioner every year. I've had my air conditioner since 1995 and have used this company exclusively.
Description of Work: In addition to the annual service I usually have every year, it was necessary to replace a broken part of the air conditioner.

I have had my a/c serviced by Marquis Air for the past 12 years and this company is simply the best! On Labor Day weekend 2012 mu a/c went out and it was 92 degrees in my condo. I called Marquis, not really believing I would be able to get service until the weekend was over or, if I did, that I would pay an exhorbitant holiday charge. He called me right back--he was at a cookout in Jacksonville, but he diagnosed the problem over the phone and led me step by step in re-setting the thermostat, all with no charge! This year when I moved into a new condo, I wanted to switch out the old thermostat for a digital one. I wanted to move it to another wall which entailed some drilling and re-wiring, but, as always, the work was done professionally and at a reasonable cost. I know at least a dozen people who use this company and we all swear by it.
