Drains Plus of Jacksonville

Was told by contractor that price was 100-200. Then when he came was 225.00 to clean drain and replace wax seal. Toilet flushed fine. Drain did not have to be cleaned but he still charged higher price.

bud is a professional of his trade. he tells you everything and he recommends course of actions.

Bud responded on a Sunday for what I thought was a clogged line but he determined the lines were all clear as was the vent pipe. Ended up being an actual toilet issue so we decided to replace it. Bud returned Monday and removed and installed a new one that flushes much better. I will definitely use him again if a plumbing issue comes up again.

He was prompt, work quickly and explained everything he did.

Drains Plus of Jacksonville advertises a free estimate, technician Bud came to property, could not identify existing system for restoration, said I needed someone else to look at it, charged me a $225 service fee for zero input or information (except possibly showing his ineptness in this case). Very disappointed with the knowledge level of what I thought was a professional expert in the field through Home Advisor. Response to Contractor s comments: What happened was I realized you charged me $225 for nothing. Your free estimate turned into $900 to restore water (which I accepted), but then turned into $3000 plus I need a well company to come to my property first for additional thousand of dollars? You charged me $225 and could not even identify my water source? Then a local handyman at my residence for paint work identified and fixed my system in about 2 hours for $400! That is when I realized you ripped me off, tried to bait and switch me, and when I did not agree to thousands you charged me $225 anyway, instead of admitting you could not figure out my system and referring me to a professional. The right thing to do in my case would have been for you NOT to charge me, at least showing some level of professional goodwill for your lack of knowledge and ability, instead of the GREED and IMMORALITY you displayed. To anyone who might read this review, I recommend finding someone other than Drains Plus of Jacksonville for your service needs.

Bud was very good and actually tried to help me resolve priming the pump but turned out it is a well issue & he doesn t do that. He went above & beyond what he should have & I appreciate that.

He came out for a simple drain cleaning. He did unnecessary work, didn t have necessary tools to do the job. Didn t clean up. Then charged my wife $400 and said I need to call another company and didn t know why he couldn t fix it. Now I have to clean up his mess. Worst experience ever!!

he was a kind and explained everything on the phone and again as soon as he arrived to my house. He was professional and answer all the questions that i asked him. the price that he charged was a bit expensive..... but he was the only one to answer my call during my emergency. i would call him again if thhre is a slow drain on the showers and or toilets in my house. The work was done quickly and professionally. Bud was able to identify the problem and fix it for a very reasonable price.

Bud did a wonderful job investigating the issue (what I thought was a simple drain plug turned out to be a little more complex of an issue). He was very knowledgeable and courteous. We’ll definitely add him to our favorites!

He came out was not able to find the problem, i asked him to come back, he wanted more money. At this time i am looking for my money back since he did not resolve the issue.
