In 2013 we had some slats in our oak parquet buckling. Peggy came to our house, told us to put weight on the area to flatten it out and run fans to dry it out. She also pointed out how moisture could be getting to the floor. After the area dried, Tom & his son refilled the cracks for us and it looked great again. Fast forward 2 years and the wood in a slightly different area started to turn black. I called Peggy for help again. I started with fans & weights but with all the rain we were having, the spot kept getting worse. We took out one square of parquet and Peggy checked the area with moisture meters. She made suggestions to try to save the floor. Unfortunately we had water intrusion from the exterior of our house and had to pull up all the original wood flooring in the room. With the next big storm the room flooded and we wet vacuumed 50 gallons of water out before we were able to stop the flooding. Peggy stayed in contact and tried very hard to help us. She is very honest with her advice and I will always appreciate the help she gave us. All of my hardwood floor business goes to Tom's Flooring. They know what they are talking about.

We were scheduled for Oct 27th and told that we had to be out of the house 5-7 days. We arranged a hotel stay, closed our business for that time (home business). In other words, a major commitment on our part. We hear nothing from Peggy and so we call a week before the job is to begin; she needs to reschedule us, something about her son's shoulder surgery. We rescheduled for Jan. 12. We asked if her husband Tom and her son could help my wife move the furniture because I am elderly and cannot help my wife do it.She agreed and told us that was the least they could do since we were "so nice." We did not hear from her until we contacted her a week before Jan 12, only to discover that she refused to help us move the furniture and gave the excuse that he son's shoulder was not healed. I told her that my wife would help her husband Tom, and her son was not needed but she refused. It was a small room with only 3 pieces of furniture! 2 chairs and a love seat!

I originally contacted this company in late June for a project I had coming up late July. I only dealt with whom I believe is the owner's wife, Peggy. Peggy did send someone out to look at the floors and provided me with a quote in the body of an email the first week in July. I contacted Peggy on July 17 as I had heard nothing about scheduling and asked if this job was scheduled. She emailed the same day and said no it was not and she would let me know when their next availability would be. I emailed back the same day and asked if we could schedule this with a firm date at the end of the month. Three days later I got an email from Peggy stating that she had been working to get me in and thought she would have time. Friday, July 22 at 6:05PM I received an email from Peggy that she could start the following Monday morning. Putting aside the unprofessional short notice and no time to prepare, we needed the refinishing done at the end of the month as there were other components of the project that we knew would not be complete. I sent Peggy an email 10 minutes after I received her final email letting her know that we needed a late end of month appointment. Even the beginning of the next month would have been fine, we just weren't ready for this company to come in and certainly not when she let me know at 6PM on a Friday night for a Monday appointment. Never heard a word from this company again about a possible re-schedule..nadda...nothing. A shame as we had 3 projects lined up for them. My experience is that they are very unreliable even though they claim that they are great at what they do.

They showed up and did their job. They were pleasant to work with. The floor seems better than what I had before. Very happy with tom’s flooring.

I could not have asked for a better job. I get complements everytime people come over. I tell anyone who ask about getting their floors redone to use Tom.

My husband and I purchased a 1922 Bungalow that had over 2400 square feet of heart pine floors that had to be refinished. Some of the floors had been abused or covered with linoleum and were in rough shape. Tom and his wife were extremely professional and accomodating and they did a fantastic job. Our floors look perfect and so shiny and beautiful! We would definitely recommend them, especially to anyone trying to restore an old home.

The floors were refinished before I moved into my renovated home, so I was not there during the process.

They were excellent. We had one little spot that needed to be fixed and they fixed it promptly. We would highly recommend them.
