Horrible scheduling fiasco. We were quoted 3 day job... Today is 4th day and they are still scrapping and patching floor after removing hardwood floors with inefficient hand scrappers!. I still don't know when they will be finished. We have been living out of our master bedroom... What a horror. We picked them based on Angie's list preferred providers and past reviews.

Awesome from start to finish. Simple Floors uses their own installers and that ensures a quality reliable job. David the Installer and Sandy at the office were fantastic. Other floor companies did not bother to provide an estimate or just wanted to do a cheaper job instead of doing it right. So, the role saying, You pay for what you get. We really like what we got and highly recommend this company.

Simplefloors installed our wood flooring 8 years ago and we love it. We recently replaced our front door that was a single door with two side lites to a set of double doors. Of course the thresh hold had to be removed as it only covered the opening for a single door. I took the thresh hold to Simplefloors and they were able to match it as they no longer carried our existing flooring. Their installers came out in 3 days, cut out the thresh hold for the double doors and installed the new one. It looks perfect. Thank You Sheena and the all the installers who originally installed our flooring and new thresh hold.

I noticed Simple Floors off of Hwy 41 in Lutz a year ago after an exhaustive search for gray wood look porcelain tile in numerous tile stores in the Tampa area. The store was a gem of a find because it had the gray tile I envisioned for 2 bathroom remodels. I was able to order and pickup the needed supplies to have another company complete the job. Fast forward a year and I was ready to replace all flooring and baseboards in the house, recalling a gray/beige wood look porcelain tile in the store. This time I had Simple Floors order the tile, etc and install the tile and baseboards. The tile while pricier than box stores is high quality and looks great in my 26 year old home. The 5.25 inch baseboards also look fabulous. And even better there is a 2 year warranty on the labor should there be issues with anything. The ladies, Sandy Bee and Sheena Searle, of Simple Floors were very friendly, helpful, and accessible throughout the project. The workers cleaned up daily and the workmanship was good. Things went well, after a small miscommunication, the team quickly and expertly installed new flooring in three rooms. This team knows flooring! The prices were competitive, options are plentiful and the customer service is top notch. I'd recommend this local team for any project and look forward to phase two in our home.

Simplefloors recently installed new carpet and engineered wood in our home. We were in the process of closing on our new home and the ladies in the office were wonderful. They were so helpful. They knew exactly how to make what I have go with what I wanted. My husband and I changed our minds many times and Ben was awesome enough to come and remeasure when needed. Wonderful and very welcoming small business. I'm hoping my mother in law decides to go with them. Very good experience!!

One of the biggest decisions and easiest I have ever had to make!

All five bathrooms have issues with grout crumbling or not being filled properly. Some places were over filled and covered the tile. I have had them out twice to repair the grout in the last six months. The same issues are reoccurring in the same locations. Instead of doing the repair properly, it seems that grout was simply spread over the top. I do give them credit for fixing the drain issues in the shower nooks by adding a marble shelf and for fixing the marble walk in shower threshold so it no longer leaks.

They were simply fantastic! The job took 2 days to reinstall a portion of the wood floor. They were prompt each day, professional and courteous. The installers were hard working, and got what was a tricky install done quickly. Not to mention, that it is a seamless installation from the new floor boards to the existing boards that were already there. I will absolutely remember to contact them in the future for any wood flooring needs. I only wish I would have known about their business 3 months ago! Great local company to work with!! I stopped into their showroom, and discussed my options with the owner at first. Once, I decided laminate flooring would be best for my needs, I worked with Sandi the sales associate. Simple Floors has a beautiful selection of laminate flooring, and are very original unlike the common everyday colors/styles at your local lowes/ home depot. Sandi set up an appointment for them to come out and measure the room, and placed my materials order with her. The shipment came very quickly (please know you are charged a shipping fee for materials). Once the materials, had come in, she was very nice to squeeze me into the schedule. That was super great, as I wanted the job to be competed, asap and they delivered on quickness! Two gentleman were onsite for the installation, which was a good thing as with it being an older home had some challenges unlike newer homes. Once, they left I called to pay my balance (which was the labor costs). The only down fall, was they do not accept Prepaid MasterCard. Overall, they have a beautiful selection and their promptness with scheduling is excellent.

A heavy hydraulic rolling machine was used to rip up the old floor with dust suppression. Remaining adhesives where remove by powered hand tools also with dust suppression. All construction debris removed promptly and clean-up each day. Job site cleanliness excellent. Floor was leveled (special ceramic thin coat) in several places. Then Jefferson and crew show up. Jefferson is a perfectionist and our floors show it. Started and completed within the agreed time frame.

Work was begun when promised, completed quickly and with good workmanship. Final product was first-rate. Any minor finish punch-list or materials issue were promptly and satisfactorily addressed. Project came in on budget, early and beautifully.

Benjamin Bee and the staff of Simple Floors went above and beyond to make my hardwood floors and tile perfect in my new house. We were moving from out of state and Benjamin was easy to contact and coordinate choices. Once we moved in he remained available and followed up on any questions and even accomplished a very difficult modification. Highly recommend! Would definitely use them again!!!

After meeting with several well rated Angie's list flooring contractors, I selected Simple Floors for a variety of reasons. First, good communication is critical to me. Both Benjamin (owner) and Sandi (store manager) were very attentive and responded very quickly to all communication (text/email and calls). Sandi is so friendly and great to work with that I felt as though I had known her forever. I am also admittedly not the easiest customer to please - I am picky and a perfectionist - and I felt as though I received top notch service and quality of product from Simple Floors. I had a difficult time making a final selecition on my floors and Sandi and Benjamin brought samples to my home to aid in the process. Their pricing was highly competitive as well. One of my biggest concerns with the project was the tear out because I knew my house would be a dust bomb and I have two small children at home. Mike and his crew did a phenomenal job. Not only did they tear out messy tile and wood in a timely fashion - they protected all of my furniture and did an amazing job with clean up. It was not nearly as messy as I anticipated. The installation crew (Jefferson and team) were fantastic as well. They were friendly and professional and did a great job with the installation. The only reason I rated Quality as "B" (and truly it is a B+/A-) is because I am being nitpicky. Some walls and baseboards were dinged up but this was really very minor. My furniture was taken good care of and the floors look amazing. This was really the only area for improvement but otherwise is was a perfect job. Keep in mind that I had all the floors in my home replaced so a few dings/scraped should probably be expected - but again, I'm a perfectionist. The biggest hiccup of the job was on my end - I made a last minute change to the flooring (remember, I had a tough time deciding) and even though I knew it was a major issue for Simple Floors, they were so incredibly accomodating and bent over backwards to make me happy. In fact, I am fairly certain I ruined Sandi's day and all she did was hug me and try to make me feel better about my mistake! So ultimately, I would recommend Simple Floors and Benjamin wholeheartedly. I'm happy to speak to any prospective customers and serve as a future reference.

ESTIMATE: We met with Sandi at the showroom and she was very helpful. She definitely knew her products and reiterated some facts on flooring that substantiated another competitor's information. She gave us a rough quote as well as a sample of the flooring we liked. Sandi was also very prompt in responding to my emails. I returned to pick up more samples. Ron was also very prompt coming out to measure our room. He called to explain the quote and quickly updated the quote when I noticed an error in what we selected. We have not had the flooring installed yet as we are still shopping for estimates. INSTALLATION: Except for the 1 day delay on installation, everything went well. We understood that all jobs don't go smoothly and Sandi contacted us as soon as she knew the installation could not take place the next day as suspected, however, my husband did reschedule all his appointments that day for nothing and we had moved all the furniture from our living room. To accommodate us, Benjamin, the owner, arranged to have the installers complete the job on Saturday and Sunday. They definitely went out of their way to make sure we were not inconvenienced any further. Best of all the workers were on time and did a wonderful job. We love the floor and are happy with our choice of companies.

I have a very positive experience with simpleFLOORS. They are conveniently located off US 41 highway. The people in the store are very friendly. They are not pushy and gave us a lot of time to consider the options. All wood floors displayed in the store have prices on them [as opposite to for instance Yeager]. The person who came measure the house was very professional and nice and brought several wood samples with them so we can make a final choice. I had several companies come over and measure the house and provide estimates - including highly rated Yeager. simpleFLOORS were the best. I have chosen them and I was not disappointed. In my opinion simpleFLOORS is a very honest company. I liked that. The crew showed up on time and start working hard right away. [so no time wasting folks - get ready]. Be prepare for a lot of dust when they start removing the carpets. They were done in 2 days (around 1000 sf). Owner - Benjamin has visited the site couple times making sure all was fine. It was. The floor is gorgeous. Overall I had an extremely good experience with them. Highly recommended.

We are thrilled with our new floors and tile work in two bathrooms. In addition to new wood floors in all but the bathrooms, we had new tile installed in master and guest showers and a garden tub surround in the master bath. The tile work is stunning and the floors are beautiful. A minor markdown for "dust control" from the removal of the old ceramic tile. Some of the furniture was not covered well and there was a lot of dust in the garage from work being done outside. If you are having tile removed, there will be a lot of dust- no way around it - so be prepared to oversee the covering of furniture and surfaces to be sure it is done well. We had the wood crew and the tile crew working on top of each other, which wasn't ideal. I would have preferred to have all the tile work done first so there is no traffic on the new wood floors. On the other hand, the job got done more quickly with both crews working at the same time. Final analysis- we are very happy with the end results, and you really can't ask for nicer people than the Bee family.

We went to their storefront and started looking at the various flooring products that they sold At first, it was bit overwhelming with the number of products that you can choose from these days. Both Ben and Sandy were excellent to work with and had a very good knowledge of the products that they carried. They spent the time to explain all of our options, let us take many samples of wood and tile home to see what it would look like in our home and really helped us narrow down what was right for our home and our budget. They did the install in three phases. In phase 1, they removed all of the tile (over 1,500 square feet). The crew was excellent. They covered everything in the house that might get dirty or dusty. By the end of the day, all of tile was removed. This was one of our biggest concerns in that it would be real dirty but it turned out to be no concern. I have to say that I was very impressed. The crew cleaned everything up and even wiped the walls down before leaving. The house was probably cleaner after they left then before the removal. In phase 2, they installed the tile. They tiled two bathrooms and our laundry room. Both rooms came out great and they always asked us if they had any concerns about laying the tile the way we wanted it. He spent the time to make sure everything was perfect. In phase 3, they installed the hardwood. They had to install over 1,000 sq feet of hardwood. By the time I got home from work the first day they had installed more than half of the wood and it looked great. They finished the hardwood install the next day and installed all of the molding and trim pieces too. The install crew was fast and made sure everything looked great. Simple Floors (Ben and Sandy) made the whole process much easier than I thought it would be since it was a big job. The new flooring looks great and I can't say enough good things about Simple Floors, Ben and Sandy. I will recommend them to all of our friends and anyone else looking for new flooring.
