Very professional

Darryl arrived checked the roof and said "I have good news" Your leak was from a small hole in the bulkhead that was used by a TV cable -- the wind blew the water into it - I just blocked it (putty) and you should be good. That cost us the slightl phenominal amount of 0, nothing, nada. This company came from at least 30 miles away. when is the last time that happeded to you. the first time they worked on our roof -- it was a bit more involved however they took pictures and made detailed drawiong of teh problem, the the worked involed, and developed the cost. Very professional and impressive. These are the best roof people I have ever worked with.

They had to fix someone else?s mess. Replacing the fascia boards and some shingles. They did an excellent job in a timely manner; cleaning up everything after the job was completed. The price was good, as it was a large area of repairs. I do not have any complaints about this company and did not have any problems what so ever.

It went very well. They are very polite and respond to telephone calls quickly. They work quickly and quietly. All debris was cleaned up. I had used them about a year earlier before I had joined Angie's List and was satisfied with their work and attitude, however I lost their contact information. I was very happy to see them listed on Angie's List and contacted them for a quote. I interviewed three companies and again Roof-Tech was the best.

He turned up when he said he would, and did what he said he would. He was very reasonable. He actually made an effort to do it earlier than he said he would. He was very helpful.

They came right away in short notice. The gave me a really good price. I didn't even realize they were here.

I called for an estimate, which was scheduled promptly on a Friday. Darrell came to the house, thoroughly inspected the leak and roof, and left a detailed estimate. I scheduled for his soonest appointment, which was Tuesday morning. Even though schools were cancelled & garbage pickup suspended out of caution for tropical storm Fay, Roof Tech said their crew would get there, weather permitting. They were there at 7:10 a.m.!

Darryl is the most patient and polite person I have met in this industry. I called several other companies and ended up working with Roof Tech. They were professional, on-time, priced well and most important...do quality work. I found two cracked tiles since they completed this job and had them come back to repair (thinking a new job). They refused to take extra payment as they considered it part of the previous job. On a side note, Darryl is "one" with his cell phone. How many times have you called someone for work only to have to call them back several times as they don't get back to you. 99.9% of the time Darryl will answer and be able to give you an estimation on when he or his team can get over to take a look/do work. He will also take the time if you are new to tile roofs to explain the important features and what to monitor. All in all, a great small company that you should consider hiring!

Daryl called on the same day that I left him a message. He came when he said he would to give us an estimate the next morning. He came the next morning and did all of the work, just as he said he would. The true mark of a professional. We have had a lot of rain and no further leaking. We are very pleased and will call him again if we ever have need of roofing work.

Darryl came by a day or two, after calling for a quote. He has had quite a few years experience, in the roofing business. When he started this company, he decided to specialize in roof repairs ONLY. The other companies, which I contacted for quotes, quoted on a complete reroof. Darryl told me that, basically, a repair (recoating the roof and resealing the "bubble" type skylights would do the job. With periodic recoating, I have quite a few years left of service with my roof. Since it is over my lanai (and essentially over an outdoor room), I felt that the recoat was the way to go. After I made the decision to go with him, he and his crew (his partner and his partner's son, as well Darryl's son) came and did the job the next day. I went up and checked it out. They did a clean job. I'd recommend them for any roofing repair or recoating. Good service.

I called Roof Tech on a Thursday due to a sudden leak. Darryl Mathis answered the phone immediately, which I was surprised about because it was after normal working hours. He took the information and promised to be here the next morning at 8:00 a.m. and he was. He was professional, polite and made a thorough inspection of the roof. He gave me a typewritten estimate which I accepted and he advised they would be out the next Tuesday to repair the roof. He was here exactly when he said he would be, he performed the work he said he would in the time he said he would finish the job, and he cleaned up the mess from the job. I was at work when he did the repair work and never even knew he was here, but when I checked the work, it was done. It has rained since the repair and no leaks. I would not hesitate to recommend this company highly! A professional roofer who keeps his word - AMAZING.

I called three roofing repair companies from Angie's List. One said they'd have someone call me back within 24-48 hours, the other within 24 hours, and these folks, one of the owners answered the phone, took my info, and was here at 9:00am, the next morning, to give me an estimate. They started the work the following day. By the time the other two companies called back, these guys were done. Very professional, all went well, no complaints.

Daryl was able to repair all broken tiles instead of replacing them which he explained that less was more in this case. The underlayment was not disturbed or compromised. He was very knowledgeable and polite. Work was done quickly but not rushed. Price was very reasonable.

We called Roof Tech and they were only one of the companies that were willing to provide a free estimate to repair the hole in our roof. Daryl arrived at our house in a timely manner, he was very courteous and professional and gave us an estimate and was very informative and helpful. After getting several estimates, Roof-Tech's price was about in the middle, however because of Daryl's demeanor, I was interested in having them do the work. I called and asked, if they would be willing to match our lowest bid and Daryl had no problem doing that, it amounted to about a 7% discount of the original price. Roof-Tech showed up on the day and time they said they would and they finished the job. Their work was very good, they were clean and left the house and yard better than it was before the job. We were very pleased with every aspect of this job.

Although the cost seemed high for the amount of time spent repairing the roof, the final result was well worth the cost and much less expensive than replacing the roof. All work was done as promised and all job related debris was removed. A subsequent home inspection indicated the roof was in good condition with no problems. Roof Tech is definitely the company to contact if you have a problem with your roof. Since we were getting ready to sell our house, Daryl also offered to act as my intermediary with any potential buyer or roof inspector, if needed, to answer any concerns about the roof and the repair.

Nice gentleman, very courteous. Couldn't ask for more. Responds to calls when you need service.

HE WAS FANTASTIC. HE WAS PUNCTUAL, PROFESSIONAL, AND PERSONABLE. HE SHOWED ME ON HIS CAMERA PHONE WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE AND DID EXACTLY WHAT HE SAID HE WOULD DO. WE HAD A BIG RAIN RECENTLY, AND THERE WAS NOT A DROP IN THE HOUSE. WE HAD 3 INCHES IN AN HOUR AND 8 INCHES IN AN AFTERNOON, AND THERE WAS NOT A DROP IN SIGHT!

THEY WERE VERY BUSY, BUT WORKED US IN FOR THE NECESSARY REPAIRS SO THE ROOF WOULD NOT LEAK IN THE RAINS OF THE APPROACHING HURRICANE WILMA. COMPLETED THE REST OF THE WORK IN A TIMELY FASHION. BOTH PEOPLE WE DEALT WITH WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONABLE.

HE DID A GREAT JOB. CLEAN, NEAT AND THOROUGH. HE DID THE JOB WITHIN 2 DAYS. I WAS SO HAPPY WITH THEM.

DARYL WAS VERY HONEST IN LETTING ME KNOW THAT ALTHOUGH HE COULD REPAIR THE ROOF, THE BETTER THING TO DO WOULD BE TO REPLACE THE ROOF. I APPRECIATED HIS HONESTY. HE IS VERY POLITE, HELPFUL, AND PROFESSIONAL. HE WAS ALSO VERY PROMPT IN RETURNING CALLS WHICH WAS REALLY NICE. IN ADDITION, DARYL GAVE ME SUGGESTIONS ON WHO TO CALL FOR NEW QUOTES TO DO THE WORK. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH HIM.

Apparently Mr. Froude filed this complaint based on our not returning two (2) telephone calls. He said he left on our voicemail. Mr. Froude is not a customer of ours, he is merely agitated that we ( a contractor in Florida, after 4 hurricanes ) didn't return his call. * Mr. Froude was never our customer * We have spoken to Mr. Froude and he has already selected another contractor to work for him.

ROOF-TECH CAME OUT THE SAME DAY I CALLED TO GIVE AN ESTIMATE ON THE WORK, WHICH WAS A SMALL JOB- WE NOTICED SOME LOOSE TILES IN OUR TILE ROOF. THEY GAVE AN ESTIMATE TO PERFORM ROUTINE ROOF MAINTENANCE, WHICH WE ACCEPTED. THEY CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY AND PERFORMED THE WORK. VERY PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS SERVICE.

EVERYONE ELSE WANTED TO SELL ME A NEW ROOF!

THEY RETURNED MY CALL PROMPTLY; SHOWED UP AS SCHEDULED TO PROVIDE AN ESTIMATE; PROVIDED A WRITTEN ESTIMATE; PERFORMED THE REPAIR WITH IN 5 BUSINESS DAYS. THEY ONLY DO ROOF REPAIRS AND I'D USE THEM AGAIN.
