Would not recommend to anybody
Description of Work: Considering the work wasn't done, it took almost a week and a follow up call to get Mr. Honeydo out to my house. He gave me an estimate of $1,100 to put up a hollow "closet door" in my master bedroom. I think because I live in Trinity Mr Honeydo saw $$$. I got four estimates, but considering his good remarks I wanted to see what he would give me. Well his estimate was more than double the three others, all who are on Angie's list with good reports. I think the administration of Angie's list needs to review certain business practices of some of it's vendors. $1,100 to put up a door, a hollow "closet door" none the less is OUTRAGEOUS ! But he did tell me to go with someone else because he had other work to do. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MR. HONEYDO BECAUSE HE IS OVERPRICE AND I FEEL RIPPING PEOPLE OFF !

Our business has always been and will continue to be based on providing a quality job, prompt service, with excellent customer care. With that said, we felt it would be necessary to respond to this members negative comments as they do not reflect our values nor do they reflect the comments posted by any other Angie's List members. We are a proud past recipient of the Angie's List Super Service Award and could we could not have achieved such status by providing the type of service that this member accuses us of. As mentioned, we did not perform any work for this customer. Our estimate to this member was fair and unbiased. As with any estimate or job, we consider any materials/supplies needed and the labor necessary to complete the job. As for specifics, the job required an existing opening to be framed out to fit an entry door. Also drywall work, texture, insulation, and door hardware/lock were all a necessary aspects of this job....none of which were mentioned in this members original comments. The job would have taken nearly two days for our crew to complete and given the necessary materials and time, we felt the price was fair. We appreciate the feedback that we receive from the members of Angie's List, however, we felt that this members comments left out some pertinent information vital to the complete story.

We were contacted by the customer to look at some cracks along the stucco in the front entry way columns. She was also interested in repairing or replacing some rotted trim wood around the garage door. After examining her requests, we spoke on the phone as to the scope of the work that would be required to make the repairs. We offer all of our customers very detailed information about the repairs so that they are well informed and can make the best decisions possible, and member was no exception. During our conversation, she mentioned that to keep the costs down, she was going to have her husband repair the rotted wood around the garage. We explained to her that the cracks along the stucco were minor and that sealing them and painting them would be sufficient and we offered her a price for the work. At the end of our conversation, member mentioned that she would speak to her husband and that they would contact us if they were interested in having us do the work.
