Mr. Honey-Do

Called Farhad in a bit of a rush to get shutters installed in babies nursery at which point he informed me that he would be able to get the job done the next day. About 45 minutes later he called me and said they had an opening and could be at our house in 30 minutes. He arrived as promised walked me through my options and completed the job. Room looks great and Farhad and his partner took care to ensure the job was done right the first time. Would recommend to anyone looking for a handyman!,

Very honest about what to expect and knowledgeable and truthful about my other options. Extremely professional and reliable. I will use Mr. Honey Do again for my home improvement needs!

He's very good and very communicative between myself and the renter. His prices are extremely reasonable.

Farhad was excellent to work with. He relocated wiring and brackets and installed new bathroom light fixtures. He also repaired holes in the drywall from the old fixtures. The job was done timely and skillfully. We would highly recommend this company.

Farhad & Farshad are the nicest, most professional handymen I've ever had the pleasure to meet. The whole process was a complete pleasure! I requested they install a hanging pot rack over my kitchen island and they delivered with no hitches at all. They took all of 45 mins total to get it done and left my home clean with no mess for me to clean up. Definitely will be calling them in the future!!

OH MY GOSH! Farhad and his team (3 in total) were AMAZING! I called 3 handymen before I called Mr Honey-Do. The first one never got back to me to set up a time for an estimate. The second one never showed for his appointment to give me an estimate. The third gave me an estimate and backed out at the last minute claiming his dog was sick, maybe dying, but never followed up on my calls over the next 24+ hours. Mr Honey-Do saved me! Farhad waiting on parts to come in for another job and since the parts didn't arrive in time they were able to tackle my to-do list instead and got it done in one day. The previous handyman who didn't show to work didn't realize that the door opening for our front door wasn't the standard size because we have an older house so the new front door we purchased wouldn't have fit. Farhad noticed this immediately. I can only imagine if the other guy *had* shown...We would have been left with a gaping hole covered in plywood while we waited for a special order, more expensive door to come in. Farhad and his team came up with a solution to the problem with the existing door and now it works better than ever. The baseboards in the back building look so beautiful I could cry. We hadn't discussed whether they would be caulking the baseboards once they were installed, but sure enough they had caulked them. When replacing the exterior door on our back building they installed new fiberglass moulding around it which won't rot like the old wood had. Again, it looks better than I imagined it could and they took an extra step that I just didn't think of. After the ceiling fan was installed, the guys paused for a quick lunch. I happened to get back to the house at this time and noticed the ceiling fan was making a loud buzz. I went outside and addressed it with them. They hadn't noticed it yet since they stopped for lunch right after it went up. I had to head back out and while I was gone I got a text message that the issue was the existing dimmer switch. They had already swapped it out for a simple on/off switch at no extra charge. Before he left, Farhad noticed that the lock to our sliding glass door wouldn't lock. He took it upon himself to fix it without question. Then he noticed I had two light bulbs out in the kitchen so he offered 2 from his truck. He also offered to put them in for me! Just amazing! Got the work done quickly, professionally, and added in some perks along the way. It seems Farhad appreciates using text messages as a form of communication (e.g. he asked me to text him my address, list of items I needed done, etc after we first spoke and before he showed up to look at everything). I'm sure it helps keep him organized. I appreciated this very much as I'm more of a texter than a caller. It also came in handy when he sent me pictures of a replacement part he needed so I could pick it up while I was out and about. I just want to mention the texting as it may be a turn off to others, but I found it very helpful. I can't wait until we are ready to re-do our bathrooms and finish up some other items on our house! I know exactly who we'll be calling to do the work!

It was a fantastic experience in every way. Farhad did great work, and changed his schedule around to accommodate my schedule. I would definitely hire him again!

Arrived at the time he said he would, promptly gave us quote. Arranged time for installation. He arrived promptly and quickly completed the job to our satisfaction. He also provided a quote for possible other work we may use him for. Found out the next day that one of the hose reels needed to be moved due to a pool installation. They came back and moved it for us at no charge. Will certainly use again.

These guys were true professionals. Could not be happier with the quality of worked performed, made sure I was happy with everything. I am real confident I will be using these guys again. Highly recommend!!! It is hard to find true honest and hard work for your money anymore, cannot go wrong with these guys. Thanks you .

He did an excellent job. I would give him A's on everything. They are gifted craftsmen, they were very hospitable, on time and met their schedules. They came across as someone we would use again.

I have had Mr. Honey Do out several times, each time with a different category.. The company is excellent in their price.. The last thing I had him out for was my cabinet was coming loose from our wall.. the cabinets are attached to an exterior wall and I was not sure we had it secure enough for put the items back in it.. Called he came out that afternoon. (we hadn't use the right things) so he was kind enough to secure all cabinets that were attached to the exterior wall.. the cost was minimal compared to what it would have cost to replace everything. :)

The three doors mentioned in the quote were fixed by two outstanding workers. The front door closes perfectly now after adjustments were made. The side door was rehung with new hinges and also works perfect. The door that needed molding around it was done and looks much better. Now, I just need to find the time to paint the new molding. And door number four, the garage door opener, took the most time. It was replaced by a chain drive that works best for that size door and is now functioning perfectly. Thank you to the garage door specialist, "Omar", he also did a great job. I am now looking on Angie's list for someone who can fix sliding doors.

We had a huge and heavy wood carving mounted high on a 21 feet wall. They took it out very carefully although it was really difficult to do so They did this without spoiling the wall,the paint or the carving; WE also had a few small drywall and painting jobs which also were completed All in all they are a very professional ,prompt and efficient work men They are very punctual and keep you posted in case they are running behnd

What a great artist the tile guy was. This shower is beautiful. He took his time and did things in stages as he wanted it to be very strong. The couple worked very hard. cutting the tiles perfect. What a job they did. The lines are straight and very thin grout lines. This shower is a work of art.

We had water damage and had several baseboards torn out throughout the dryout process and when the wood floors were torn out. Mr. Honey Do came and measured, got the baseboard and quarter-round and had it painted before he came to the house. He completed the job in a day and it looks great! Very neat, clean and professional. We have already had him back to replace some drains that we couldn't fix. Would definitely recommend.

We needed a wooden, outside door replaced as ours had some rot. The door was also leaking during hard rains. Farhad returned my call promptly and said that he could come out and give me an estimate that same day. The door we wanted to replace was not a standard size, so Farhad took measurements and gave an estimate that was lower than others that we had received. Our door had to be manufactured in fiberglass, so he estimated that it would take 7 to 10 days to get it. We were surprised when he called four days later to tell us that the door was ready to go. He brought the door over and installed it that afternoon. A couple of days later, we had a rainstorm of biblical proportions. We had some water leakage around the door, so I called Farhad again. He came out on a SUNDAY to recheck his work. Finding no problems with what he had done, he took the time to try and find the problem for me. He discovered that the water was soaking through the concrete at the base of the door due to poor drainage. Even though it was not his problem, he applied 3 tubes of caulk around the area. This did the trick, and he never charged us a single penny for time or materials. This is even though the problem was not of his doing and he made a special trip out on a Sunday! We will definitely be using him again soon.

Come to find out that I-assemble (handyman) on Angie's List, installed the closet knobs near the opening, so you can't open the doors. I will need to install a new set of knobs to make the closet doors function. I wish it could have been done as part of this job, but he didn't offer a solution to the problem. He took all the spare parts, so I don't have the extra spare knobs I need. As it is now, I have to leave the doors slightly open in order to open them. So, it looks like I have to hire a 3rd handyman to install/fix my closet doors. $150 on first attempt, $250 on 2nd install, $400 to install closet doors is just the beginning until I get it right with the next ?handyman?. So frustrating!

It went beautifully. He was courteous. He did extra things that we didn't ask him to do. He did things that we even haven't thought about, things that we wanted to do and he took care of it. We were very happy with him. He was clean. He left the place very neat and we were very highly satisfied with him. We're very pleased. His work was very professional. He made a bunch of suggestions about things that we plan to do in the future, what we could do. It seemed like he was trying to cut back as much on expenses. The price was reasonable for what he did. We plan to use him again in a few weeks.

They called back on the weekend to give us an idea when they would be in our area. The next week they called and scheduled a time to come by. They arrived right on time with a phone call before that they were on their way. They had all parts on the truck and could take care of everything on the day they arrived. They were courteous, cleaned up, took off their shoes and were professional. We are looking forward to them doing more work for us.

While this company was not the lowest bid (the moving company used the lowest bid), I appreciated them coming out and giving me a free estimate. He was extremely friendly and helpful.

They took off their shoes because I have light colored carpet. They went to get a part so they could mount the new fan, but came back right away. It was reasonably priced. They need to be bragged on. They were here about 3 hours because the fan was a pain to put in. I was very pleased, and they did a nice job. They got right to work. They also took away all the old parts, and cleaned up very well.

I called Mr. Honey Do (Farhad) to see if he was available to do a few jobs for me, including repairing some wooden fencing and the screen door to the lanai. He returned my call promptly and came out to my house that afternoon to give me an estimate. He was professional, prompt, and courteous. I agreed to have him do the job, and he initially told me that he would be able to do it early the following week. Much to my surprise, he called me the next day to say he would be in the area in the afternoon. So my jobs got done in about 24 hours from start to finish! He and his brother did a great job on the repairs. I appreciated that he explained everything he was going to do before he did it, and clearly took pride in his work. I would use him again in a heartbeat!
