Mr. Honey-Do

The owner did not contact me as he advised he would do in a phone message on the first attempt to contact. I had missed his initial call and he left a voice message he would contact me the next morning. I waited for 36 hours before I reached out to him again. Once we were able to talk; I provided him my list of work to be completed. The owner advices he would call me on Monday the 6th to put his week schedule together as he had nothing on the books for the entire week. I waited all day Monday, and most of Tuesday the 7th but had not heard back. I called and spoke to the owner again and asked if he was going to be able to complete my list. He told me his week was already filled up and could not get to me. He further went on to explain he did not have any time in the near further for me or my requests and to look else where. I was very shocked at this and his tone of voice on the phone. I would not recommend this company to anyone!!

I initially contacted MR HONEY-DO to replace a metal bathroom door and put in a dog door in it. And it was understandable, he was going on about "Ah well, you need to have it trimmed, you need to have all these and stuff", and before it was over with, he gave me this estimate of $2000 which I thought was really hefty. So I said to him, "Would you please break down the exact cost- how much is the dog door, how much is the door, how much is the framing, how much is the repainting. Just break the cost down for me so I know what I'm looking at and for my point of you so I could choose." And he said no, he wasn't going to break the cost down and I just said, 'Well, it's been nice meeting you", and sent him on his way. They're pretty much nothing, I didn't like or dislike anything. He came out and he was reasonably polite. He gave me an unreasonable estimate and wouldn't break it down and so I sent him on his way. I recommend for them to be willing to break down their cost estimate. He was fine on punctuality, he came on time.

In both cases Farhad was exceptional. Professional, courteous, punctual. Pricing was extremely reasonable and the work was completed in both cases on the same day.

They did a great job installing drywall, moulding, baseboards and paint. They also replaced a few broken floor tiles. I also asked them to do additional work at the last minute and they were very accommodating. They were courteous and easy to work with. They cleaned at the end of every day they were here. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out they cleaned my garage, and I didn't ask them. Most importantly, we are happy with the results. I highly Mr Honeydo.

They weer very neat, completed everything correct and really no touch up cleaning up after the installation. They were very friendly and really great guys! Very satisfied! Provided very quick service even ahead of schedule. About the same cost of the competition.

Two men worked all day to accomplish everything. I was sure it would take them two days. Everything was done perfectly and if you did not know there had been repairs, you would never be able to see them. Believe me, popcorn ceilings are hard to match and they got it as perfect as possible. I was very happy with everything they did and my house looked flawless when they were done.

I had florescent lighting in my kitchen and bathrooms. The ceilings were recessed and very "70"s. The gentleman (sorry, I don't recall his name) showed up to give me an estimate right on time. He had some good suggestions. Although his wasn't the lowest price, I chose to go with them. The work was scheduled, and 2 men came to do the work. These men dug right in, did everything they could do to minimize the dust. They worked tirelessly and finished the work in a day and a half. The whole space was cleaned up before they left, and the work they did looks great! I am very pleased with the finished product and will definitely hire them for future work.

They arrived on time for the two days they were at the house. My brother and I constructed the wall in the garage to separate the laundry area but wanted to have the finish work done by professionals. Mr. Honey-Do was a smart choice. The work required two separate days to allow for dry time of the plaster coats. I am very happy with the results and would hire again for future work. Upon further review, I did spot unfinished work in the attic. It was hidden during the first review but I checked the attic wiring later. The rolled insulation was rolled up to install the light but they never put the insulation back in place. Also the wiring was not fastened correctly to the attic floor but instead just left laying haphazardly around the attic floor. I would not expect these two failures from a professional electric contractor.

Their response was prompt and friendly. I was lucky to get an appointment scheduled for the next day. They arrived on time, completed the job quickly and cleaned up afterward. I would recommend and hire them again.

He is very good at what he does. He is efficient, follows up and is a very nice person. I would recommend him without hesitation.

I am updating by previous review. The contractor did contact me as soon as he was aware of the problem and offered to rectify it immediately. He was very apologetic & very professional about the whole situation. I did not have work done to date due to personal circumstances, but I would definitely call him back if I do need work completed.
