This customer contacted us about 10 days ago. We explained to her that we are a two man operation and that we were busy. She gave us her limited availability and asked for a one day notice. We called and left a message for her as soon as we had an opening which was on 10-28-15 at 8:30 am. She never responded back. Looking at our previous 100+ reviews, you can see that we do our best to accommodate everyone's needs and availability.

It is unfortunate that we received a poor review from this potential customer. She contacted up via email about assembling a bed and some IKEA furniture that she was planning to purchase. On the phone, I explained to her that typically IKEA furniture takes a while to assemble as it comes in numerous pieces. She had very limited availability so we decided it would be best for her to text/email the items she was purchasing and that way we can possibly provide a price for the work. Once she forwarded that information we provided a price range of $325-$450 for the work. We explained that we would confirm the price prior to starting the job and she could still decide at that time if she wanted us to do the work. She texted us that the price was outside of what she wanted to spend. Via text, we wished her luck with her project. Typically, our estimates are not based on the price of the product that were are installing or assembling. Rather we base on prices on the time and what we think it will take to get the job done. We provided a range to this customer without ever seeing the pieces and although we were unable to do business on this project we don't feel that we were deserving of a poor review.

Description of Work: The serviceman came out promptly for the estimate and I explained how I needed repairs right away cause last handyman rescheduled 3 times causing me delays on trying to sell my house. Mr Honey Do sent me a text estimate for 1450 and said he could start in a few days . When I asked for a breakdown of the repair costs by job he said I would have to wait an extra week for the repairs then. So I asked for cost just for bathroom repair to make it easier...no response. Fooled again by a shady handyman.

It's unfortunate that this customer posted a negative review on Angie's List. Once we were contacted and she mentioned that it was a time sensitive matter, we moved our schedule around to be able to accommodate her and see the job as soon as possible. Again with time being an issue, we responded in a most timely manner possible, which was a text that provided a total for the jobs she had inquired about. She than contacted us regarding individual prices for the work and possibly a different scope of work, however, this process takes time and although we do our best to address all of our customers needs, she is not our only customer. We don't appreciate being called a "shady handyman". We are a reputable licensed contractor and a Angie's List "super service" award winner with numerous positive reviews from very happy customers.

Description of Work: It took them a couple weeks to come out (if I remember right) but I had wrong items for the job and had to re-purchase the right ones. But what they did was excellent. The owner even made suggestions prior to doing anything and I was very grateful and impressed by his integrity. I would definitely use them again.

As a small business we thrive on all the feedback that we get from our customers and these reviews on Angie's List are a big of that feedback. That's why its very discomforting when we receive such a negative review. In defending ourselves, our records indicate that we did communicate on multiple occasions with this customer in setting up a day to address his needs. Furthermore, on the day of the service, we did make a courtesy call before arriving. At that point, before arriving to the home, based on the information that the customer had given us, we made a stop at the supply house to purchase the necessary parts just in case the homeowner approved the estimate. Once we arrived there the customer was given a free estimate that he approved before we did any work. Although the repair was not a timely repair, perhaps the trip to the supply house was not figured into the job time by the customer. We just like to be efficient and timely in all of our efforts and this customer was no different.

Description of Work: They removed a cabinet from our lanai area and capped all of the plumbing, electrical, gas lines that were back there. They also repaired a column on our front porch and caulked all of the columns. It went very well. They did a really good job.

Description of Work: Mr. Honey Do completed several jobs at our home recently. The Jobs included hanging light fixtures, repairing light fixtures, hanging stained glass panels, gutter cleaning and pool/patio power washing. He also cleared the roof and solar panels of tree leaves. Two screen door locks were also installed. A+ service and very professional. Our request for an estimate was given within one day and the work was completed within two days. We were pleased with all the jobs completed and his attention to detail.

Description of Work: I had a home that needed lots of TLC before putting it up for sale. We needed electrical, drywall, roof repair, pool pavers pressured washed, driveway and house: mulch in front;: an old spa, pool heater and water softener, and old basketball hoop removed; a total screened in lanai to be replaced, windows in garage(from basketball) , balcony that need to be repainted and French doors in balcony to be replaced. The house was cleaned from the blinds, kitchen cupboards inside and out, all applicances, bathrooms, mirrors, and carpet was cleaned. Mr. Farhad Sarhaddi took this home on as it was his own. He was always on call and we had a deadline that I never took seriously but he did and kept me going with very little pressure and always a gentleman. He went above and beyond to make sure this house was ready for my realtors. He kept in touch with me consistently. I plan to use Mr. Honey-Do with my new house. After only TWO DAYS of being on the market for my house, I sold it! He was amazing and so was any Honey-Do person that worked for him. I have never been so pleased and comfortable with a handyman before. Mr. Sarhaddi is a prize employee and I was lucky customer. Thanks Angie's List!

Description of Work: I did not use Mr. Homey-Do but wanted to put a note because the experience was very good. They were extremely knowledgeable and made several suggestions to improve on the requested work. We ended up using another person who also was good, based primarily on the price. However, I would not hesitate to use this company in the future.
