Mr. Honey-Do

Mr. Honey-Do came out to fix my fence. I couldn't get anyone else to come out because it was a pretty minor problem. He fixed it for the price he said he would.

Everything went as promised. I have worked with Mr Honey-Do in the past and was very happy with the work they did, so we hired them again, and we were not disappointed. They gave us the estimate to repair one section of drywall that had cracked and another section that had sustained water damage. They repaired all the drywall and re-textured to match the existing ceilings so well that you cannot notice the newly repaired section from the original. They also cleaned out my dryer vent and replaced and sealed the dryer vent hose. They were prompt, responsive and reasonably priced. Would definitely call them again.

the site visit and estimates were provided with clarity and adhered to, which is always a plus. I was provided an very attentive and detail effort in providing for a conversion of 2 spaces into closet space. I was also provided a superb job of placing glass into a semi circular area over the doorway leading into the Master bath. The cleanup, leveling, fit and trim in all aspects of the job were without complaint. I would absolutely use them again for small to moderate remodeling jobs.

There was a problem in the kitchen; I have granite that needed to be re-grouted. The second time I called him, I never got a call back. My husband ended up doing it himself.

Mr Honey-Do did a good job but I think he was very overpriced. He was well organized, he was very professional. He did exactly what he said he was going to do.

Not well. They had trouble even with the small jobs. For example, install new front door handle.

Service was great. They were able to fit me in between jobs. Very professional and offered hints on other stuff I'm working on around the house. Will definitely call them again for other services.

He was very prompt to answer all phone calls and to arrive for appointments. Started the job on time and finished ahead of schedule. Kept me updated on progress of the job. Very professional and courteous. Did excellent job. Would definitely use him again.

It was great. They responded to our call right away and actually fixed the problem while they were here.

Update 8/26/12: I received a call from Farhied today and he profusely apologized for not contacting me back. The day that I called he was on a job and wrote my contact information down but it fell between the seats of his truck. I really appreciate that he contacted me to explain the misunderstanding. We have set up another appointment for me to receive my estimate. From my conversation with him today, I believe Farhied is very professional and I look forward to possibly hiring the Honey Do. 8/24/12:I called the Honey Do on Saturday and spoke to a man. I explained the services I was interested in and that I was looking to get this work done ASAP. He told me they did all of those services, asked me for my home address which i gave him and said that they had a job in Odessa (where I live) on Monday, so they would come by after that job to take a look at the work and give me an estimate. As of today (Friday), I have not heard back from them. I will be more than happy to update this review if I ever get the returned call I was promised. I am surprised by the unresponsiveness, since there were so many great reviews for this company on Angie's list.

Called and set up a time to stop by for an estimate. Called well after expected time that they could not make it. Tried to schedule again. "no show" seemed uninterested in providing service in North Pinellas.

.Farhad and his assistant were very professional and courteous. They called before coming out and arrived at the appointed time. They expertly cut and attached the boards without a problem. They caulked the seams. They took the extra time to make sure I was happy with the trim. I didn't want to use the trim they brought with them so they took me over to Home Depot so I could select the trim I wanted. When I was unable to find the correct trim, they waited until I had selected the trim and then they came back a second time (without charging me a trip charge) to install the trim. Overall, I was happy with the quality of their work. The only problem I encountered was that the wood they chose to use was rough on one side of the boards and when the painters went to paint it, they had to sand it all down quite a bit and then repaint it. Now that the paint is on the boards, the lanai overhang looks wonderful! I will definitely use them again for other projects. They were very easy to work with.

He went a little outside of his normal service area to accommodate me. All went very well.

We received an estimate and then hired the company. The arrived on time and corrected all the problems that had been included in the quote. They had even ordered a new microwave handle door from the manufacturer which they installed. Wonderful experience. I will definelty hire then again when I have another To Do list.

In my rental condo one of the blade of fan was broken. I was thinking of getting it replaced. When he looked at the job he told methat the new fan won't be as flush and look good as if we just replaced the blades. Which is what he did. Did a great job.

Great, I call them and tell them what I need. they might ask me if I have certain items and if I don't they offier to pick it up for me, which I reimburse of course. they come when they say they will, they are friendly and efficient

Mr. Honey Do was the second lowest estimate and I decided to go with them again. They provided the same level of performance as before. The service door replacement went well, we were very satisified. The house painting job started and ended as they estimated and the house looks great! The owners are very detail-oriented and sincerely want to provide customer satisfaction. And they delivered again! I would highly recommend Mr. Honey Do for any job you have on your To Do List!

One of the floating shelves he mounted for me ended up right over a bulge in the drywall (unbeknownst to me). He really worked at getting the shelf level, and he put an extra brace between the wall and the shelf for added stability. He could've just used what was in the shelf box, but he went above and beyond to ensure the shelf would be stable long term.

Farhad and his co-worker provided service the same day!!!! I called, he called back and we scheduled appt in few days and then they had time and everything was fixed the same day. They are very professional. I would recommend this company to everyone. Everything was fixed and working as it should. thank you so much!!!!!

I was referred to this company from another Angie's list company. They came the day after I called, trailer in tow, and they were able to do the work right after they quoted it. My old (fired) contractor did not provide access from the old attic space to the new addition attic space. That left me in a bind in trying to finish the work by adding the return and moving the vent which was incorrectly positioned. Mr. Honey Do was professional and their work was excellent! They worked clean, covered personal items and did a thorough job cleaning up after themselves. I hated the idea of access from the bedroom into the new attic space, but they left me with a small access hole, that is very nicely trimmed and I don't even hate it. Others have commented on how well the job looks and a friend that is a construction engineer said it was very structurally sound and he could not have done better! I highly recommend them.

When I did not receive a response to my initial call within several days, I contacted the company again. They apologized and we set a date for the work. I had thought that I might want them to pressure wash the entire house but the price he quoted was just too expensive. The team did a good job and I am pleased with the result. However, I selected them because they use the rotary machine to clean surfaces, but their technician said that the machine should not be used on pool decking because it's too abrasive. Therefore he had to use the pressure sprayer instead. I thought the price was higher because they use the machine rather than just the sprayer. As it happened, they could only use the machine on the driveway and sidewalks. I have mixed feelings about using them again because their service is on the expensive side.

I He was prompt and courteous. I have had no problems with my new water heater and he did the work for about half the cost of a plumber.
