the workmanship was top notch, salesman and owner were difficult

I am a near fifty year old married man, in the process of completing my fourth home remodel. The interaction with the Morgan people was by far the most odd and uncomfortable experience I have ever had with a contractor! On my first contact with the woman in the Morgan office, I was questioned as to weather my wife would be present during the window estimate. When I told her no, she questioned me about her availability. I told her that I would be meeting with their estimator. A few days later their estimator showed up as scheduled. He showed up with a blank piece of paper and a tape measure. No window samples or photos? He then went on to explain that the Morgan philosophy was that the wife was the decision maker of the home and also quoted the "Happy Life - Happy Wife" saying. He made a few more comments on how he was going to need to come back and meet with my wife. Then we had an even more uncomfortable moment when I explained to him that I was the person that would be paying for the windows, NOT my wife! He finished with his measurements, and then took some exterior photos of the house as he was leaving. Two days later I received a call from the Morgan office. I was expecting a quote on the windows. Instead, I was asked when the Morgan people could come back and meet with my wife? I have since signed a contract for the window job with another company that showed up serious about selling windows.

I did have plants in pots around the house that I had taken time to move away and cut down on time the workers might need to get the area ready for the work. The cost was spot on...and they were diligent about getting any loose material, especially roofing nails. We have had no flat tires as a consequence of the roofing job.

Salesman was very detailed and professional. They wrote three contracts so that every step would be accounted for. I had never seen this before, but very much appreciated the details. All projects were second measured by a very knowledgable foreman and all other questions were answered as well. We did financing and everything was exactly how they described. Projects were coordinated well, communicated perfectly and completed timely. It was shocking how many times the sales person stopped to check in on things. It was also very surprising how much interaction the installers had with us. Always asking if we understood and approved...or if we had questions. I was initially nervous to give all the projects to one company, but I am now thankful I did and thankful it was Morgan. Thank you Bruce Lee (sales), Dennis M. (foreman) and Mr. Morgan and staff.

They have been very good. Very very professional. The workman that come in are extremely considerate with keeping the house clean. One of the things I like is they have had a couple different teams out here and there is no profanity. Very competitive on price with the understanding there are lower prices but you will get lower quality. When they were running late they would call and late me know.

Horrible experience. I am seeking legal advice.

The quality was very good, however, I believe the price is too high for the work performed. Namely the windows. I chose another vendor on installing additional windows which were just as good in quality but at much lower cost. When they gave me their sales pitch they made a statement that all work was performed by their employees and nothing was subcontracted. This turned out to be untrue. I questioned workers that installed a sun film on one of my windows and they stated they did not work for Morgan.

Thee whole job was done during 2 separate years. The first set of workers were more professional than the second.

There were some times of miscommunication, but I stayed on top of the work that was being done, and it looks great!

Their estimator showed up exactly on time for the appointment. He described the company well and took a look at the work. As this was an evening appointment (very convenient) he could not get a good look at the exterior work and planned to return for further measurements. Again he showed up on time for a Saturday appointment (again very convenient for me) and thoroughly examined the work and took lots of measurements. He was very professional in his description and suggestions of he they could accomplish the work. He left a packet of company information and said he would get me a detailed estimate with a couple of days. I was very happy with the initial response and his professionalism. I thought I found a decent contractor. BUT That was the end of it. He never sent an estimate, never called, or anything. I finally called the company and they assured me that they would contact him immediately and that he would contact me as soon as he was done with his current appointment... NOTHING. I never received any follow up. They may be good contractors but if they can't follow up with their clients with even a bid properly I won't be using them.

It took over a year to get 6 windows installed . The quality of the windows were poor. They didn't know what they were doing when they put in a sliding door and it took a couple of times to fix. There were defects for a big window in the foyer which the installer found. They also had to replace 2 windows in the kitchen. We found a scratch on the window. The owner thought we were being unreasonable. We didn't think we had to pay until the job was done and he thought the job was done. He agreed to come back the next day to look at the scratch. They sent someone to buff the window but made it worse. They sub-contracted the work and they both kept blaming each other.

Morgan Exteriors is excellent. We've been very happy with their work. We had a warranty problem with the door they installed in the lanai. Morgan came out several times to fix it. They stood behind their product and their work. The issue with the door was related to the manufacture and not the work Morgan did. We highly recommend them.

The sales representative arrived on time. He was very courteous and very professional. He gave a complete presentation with a sample of their windows and compared to others. He was very informative. The estimate, if I remember correctly was for replacement of 13 windows and it was $16,000. I also asked for a estimate for just the 6 windows in front of the house and it was $9000.

Everything went very well. Nice guys.....very professional. Took the time to do it right and were very careful not to damage the area surrounding the windows. They noticed that one of the locks was broken, but it was quickly ordered and replaced within a week. Great company!

Our salesperson was Chris Jackson and he was so nice and was helpful in helping us choose the right window for us. He was every bit the professional and always got back to us in a timely fashion. We enjoyed working with him very much. The day of installation the men were very punctual and pleasant. They got our windows out and the new ones in in no time. They were neat and cleaned up any mess made while doing the job. We plan on replacing our slider and french doors in the future and will definitely be calling Chris back when the time comes.

Installation went extremely well! House is an older concrete block house with inside plaster walls. Dennis and Greg did a fantastic job. They were friendly, worked very well together, and cleaned up their messes! The installation only took about two days. This appears to be a very good company -- from Chris, who did the original proposal to Dennis and Greg who completed the job. I would definitely hire this company again.

The two man team worked very well together. They are very professional and friendly. The door went in and it matches the windows we had Morgan Exteriors install last year. We continue to go back to this company as they stand behind their product. If you're looking for professional workmanship and a good product, this is the company to use. If you have to wait for their service due to their heavy work load, wait for them ... they are worth the wait! PS Ask for Chris as your salesman. He is professional and knows his stuff. He'll get you the best deal too.

This was the second time we've used Morgan Exteriors. The first time we installed windows on one half of our home and this time we completed the rest of the home. We asked for the same installers and as in our first install, we were not disappointed. The salesperson, Chris Jackson was extremely knowledgeable, easy to work with and we really enjoyed working with him. Our installers, Dennis and Greg, were exceptional and we couldn't be more pleased. We are very pleased and will continue to recommend Morgan Exteriors! Thank You!

They did a good job. When they ran into trouble they performed and handled that very well. It took them a couple of weeks to complete the job. I did think they were expensive though.

I talked to several companies for an estimate. My husband and I were impressed with the salesman, Chris Jackson, as he was very knowledgeable. We liked how he explained the process of fixing a problem with our garage doors (crackled) and ceiling (taping problems). We also liked the fact that the price was fixed, if there was a repair to be made it was included in the price. There were 2 teams (1 for the painting) and when they were finished another team installed the bead board. We are very happy with the work quality and the professional manner of the crews. They were quiet, neat, and polite at all times.

They were triple the cost of the other estimates I received. They came back at a later date and told me if I signed with them today they would drop $10,000 off the cost in order to meet there numbers. I didn’t feel I could trust them.

Morgan provided a very high initial proposal to repair wood and paint, and then they followed up offering discounts on their original estimate (estimating high and subsequently offering a discount appears to be a pre-determined sales tactic). They revisited the home to prepare a second, revised estimate. In March, I paid a 50% deposit. I requested advanced notice about the start date, and I was told that I?d get a call from the scheduler and that the work would start in approximately 3 weeks. I waited 3 weeks and never heard from Morgan, so I contacted them. They waited 5 days to reply and they said a scheduler would contact me that week, but they didn?t call and I had to call Morgan again. I was told the work wouldn't start for several more weeks. A few more weeks passed with no word from Morgan. Then, without sufficient advanced notice, I received a voice message that work would start the next day. However, I wasn?t going to be home so the job couldn?t start. Then nobody from Morgan contacted me for another extended period and I had to call them to ask about the schedule, but Morgan was vague and noncommittal. They showed up (without sufficient advanced notice again) for work in late May. However, a wood-working representative said the wood replacement phase couldn?t be done as scoped and that Morgan would contact me later that morning. I didn?t hear from Morgan so I called them. Morgan said that they would contact us that afternoon to set up a date to ?redo? the paperwork, but they didn?t call. I contacted the Morgan sales rep who knew nothing about the delays and issues, and he said he would get back to me the next day - he never did. I was in limbo until mid June and requested a refund of my down payment, which they obliged.

Had to call them to get job started . Once started had three parts Sofit facia ,gutters , and pressure wash. I did not like finishing corners on gables had to call for correction. It was fixed but the installer left without showing me so I could approve work . It was not what I thought it would be but I decided to let it go. I talked to another installer for gutters they did a good job. But I had to call again to get them started. Overall job was okay but only average.

Jeremiah and his helper did an excellent job of installing this beautiful door. I am so happy with it. It really sets off my house and I am so glad that I chose Morgan Exteriors. They may be a little expensive for some, but they have top quality products and they really do professional, excellent work. I have had other doors, windows and siding installed by them and have always been happy with everything that they've done. Morgan Exteriors is first class.

It went very well. The door looks and works great. They made sure the dog door would work properly for the dog and discussed with me any changes from what was originally planned and clearly explained why they needed to make those changes.
