The company was unresponsive until we contacted them. When we finally got to talk to the owner he said he could not do the price they had quoted and would refund our money. We have a contract with this company and are refusing to honor it. They have had our money for so long and we have spent so much time working with them and now they are trying to back out. Its very unprofessional.

I did not use them as they were too expensive and would not stop calling me. They were snappy and rude. Even after I asked them to stop calling me and take me off the list they continued call and were very rude. They were nasty and in fact, the last time I spoke with one of them they actually hung up on me. At one point I blocked the number and they started calling from another number. The man representative who actually came out to my house was very nice. He was very courteous and very respectful but I did not like their price. The estimate was well above other estimates I had received and I wasn't willing to pay that price. I told them I would have to speak with my husband before making a decision. I got a call a week later to set up an appointment and it was very hard to find a time as my husband works very long hours. We could not lock down a time. They called back a week later and I told them that I don't want them to call me as I will call them when we have time. So I immediately blocked their number. It was then they started calling me from another number! I explained that their prices were way too high and I can't accept their services. The told me they were trying to cut me a deal at this point but I was not convinced they could possible bring their price down to match the other estimates I had received. At this point the conversation started to feel hostile and aggressive and I didn't want to argue on my own phone so I told them to just stop calling me and take me off their list. I was disappointed as the first man I met was so pleasant and respectful.

They are wonderful. They gave us a price to replace the windows for three years to do it at that given price. They’d call in six months to inform me that they’ll give me a better deal so I was getting more and more off. It took me two years to do the work. I noticed the difference in the electric bill as soon as we started on the left side of the house. I really like them. They do anything exterior and as a matter of fact my sons friend who used to work for another company on windows came and saw the way these windows were put in he informed my son that it was amazing and that he has never seen anything done this well.

It was okay. They have good prices, but there seems to be a disconnect between the sales people and the other parts of the company. However, the work was good and they followed up with me. I like that if there is an issue they will send someone out to fix the issue. The person who they sent to my house was very good.

The salesman came out and discussed the different siding types. He showed us a flimsy pliable piece and explained it was cheaper quality found in home improvement centers. He sold us on a heavier grade siding (non-pliable). He said not to call the company and to call his cell number on the business card if I needed. I did this several times because I was not getting a solid install date (up to 3 weeks from the time we agreed on the siding). Ended up, he was let go and no longer worked at the company. Mr Morgan Sr called me and explained the issues with the salesman and set a date for siding install. During the install, I noticed that the siding was the pliable type that the salesman advised against. I called Morgan exteriors and it was explained to me that it is what I paid for and it had a lifetime guarantee. I called the salesman (I still had his cell number) and he concurred that I should have got the more heavier grade. He asked me to send pics which I did but he never got back to me. I felt that I was bait and switched and ended up confused over the entire process. The sale was made on Feb 13th and siding job was completed about a month later (3 weeks later than I was told when promised at the sale). Stucco repair was completed about 7 weeks after sales agreement was signed and was completed well. I think most of the problems I encountered were due to the sales pitch and the salesman requesting I work with him direct instead of the companies main office. I never did get a "written" lifetime warranty and will be contacting the company for that.

The gentleman that came over showed up an hour early. He wrote out a contract, and promised he would work with our schedule. He never sent a typed contract as promised. Mr. Morgan called while I was at a church function and demanded to start that day. The next week when they rescheduled, his crew just dropped off supplies at my home and didn't show up for another week. The crews came out at 11 and left at 3 every day. The project took over 3 months to be completed. It took 3 months forthem to find interior doors, and both times they brought doors they were poor quality. They said they didn't use any subcontractors, and when it came down to it they used subcontractors for drywall. Mr. Morgan was not very pleasant or accomadating throughout the entire process. The workers were nice, but their attendance was an issue.

They did a wonderful job as always.

They showed up over 6 months ago to do a roofing estimate. Made an appointment for them to come back to give me the quote. Cancelled on the day of the appointment 6 times for one reason or another. The last time apologized and promised they would make it right. Then called after the appointment time and said the salesman was tied up at another job. Then when I complained, called to say the salesman was sick...... (Note after the first 4 times, and talking with the salesman (Jason) he said there was never any medical emergency.... DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Highly unreliable. I ended up taking over 2 days leave for appointments in which they never showed! They put in windows back in 2007 and did a good job, but do NOT expect the same service now! They called and begged me to do a quote on my roof again and promised they would make everything right. I sat here for several hours waiting for the salesman who never showed up! Avoid this company at all costs!!!!!!

Team was very professional. Work is beautiful.

I signed a contract on June 14, 2013 to have the exterior of my town home painted. The contract stated that work would begin in 5 to 6 weeks and be completed in 3 to 4 days. The contract also stated that I would be out of town August 3 and the job would be completed prior to. From the date I signed the contract I heard nothing from the company, not even a thank you letter or phone call. When I called in August I spoke with Mr. Morgan Senior and he apologized and told me to call him back when I returned from my vacation. He said he no longer runs the company he only answers the telephone but will see that the job get started ASAP upon my return. I returned to Tampa in 10 days and called the company and approximately one week later two men showed up to look at the job. They said work would begin the following week. Nothing happened for two weeks I called again. Another man showed up looked at the job, and told me they were not able to find the same Georgia-Pacific boards to repair the front of my home which had water damage. I was told that they would have new boards milled and they would be very close to what was on my home. Once again, no word from the company no phone calls and being totally ignored. I called the company and I was still i was still ignored for weeks. I called Mr. Morgan's senior again and told him how unhappy I was and he said he would check into it. On one occasion I had two men come out look at the work and state that they will be starting the following week. Nobody showed, no phone call from the company so I called and said what's up. On a second occasion one more man showed up to the job and said they are going to have to probably mail new siding because they cannot find a match. The contract reads match as close as possible. The company continued to ignore me until I became upset and Mr. Morgan Junior call me with a smart *** attitude telling me he could only do the job by charging me more money. I told him to do the job as the contract stated and he said he was going to be out of town and would call me the following Monday. As usual no phone call so I called the salesperson and found out that he was no longer working for the company. In November 2013 I discovered on my credit card a refund of $773 the amount that I was asked to deposit when the contract was signed June 14, 2013. No interest on my money, no compensation for promises, no apologies for rudeness on Mr. Morgan Junior's part, obviously no interest in the company reputation with some running same. It is my opinion that after months of advertising they received lots of leads make lots of sales and did not want to do my job for the price on the contract because. Don't trust this company. Don't trust Mr. Morgan Junior.

The Crew arrived as scheduled on the starting day and work took approximately 4 days. They cleaned up the end of each day and I could not have asked for a more technically qualified , polite and capable crew. NO installation problems were encountered. There were some administrative problems which developed due to a lack of communication but they were quickly resolved by the owner, Kirk Morgan , who is a man of utmost integrity. I recommend his company for any project they are qualified to perform with no qualification whatsoever.

On 9/12/13 I made an appointment with Morgan exteriors to give me a quote on new soffits and an exterior paint job, or the All Weather Coating that replaces having to paint again, that they heavily advertise. Their representative came out and spent a couple of hours extolling the virtue of his company and its products, took measurements, and promised to get a quote to me in a couple of days. I never heard from him again. On 9/26/13, a telemarketer from the company called and asked me if I remembered meeting with their sales rep. and, when I told him that I did, he proceeded to tell me that they had even better ways to save me money than when their rep. was out to see me. When I told him that I had no way of knowing whether he could save me any more money since I never received a quote, he seem confused, and muttered that they were supposed to have given me a price. He then told me that he would have someone out the next day with a quote. At the appointed time another representative from Morgan came out. He also seemed confused, but this time I don't think it was his fault. He was given a wrong last name for me and was not told that someone had proceeded him, and taken the measurements, and he was to give me a quote only. When I explained the situation to him he apologized and offered to take measurements, but instead I thanked him, wished him a good day and showed him the door. I have spent over twenty years in sales and have owned my own businesses. I have managed both sales and telemarketing teams and have rarely seen such an inept effort to obtain new business. I believe that if a company isn't professional in their effort to secure new business, than their product isn't going to hold up either. Fortunately, I have contracted with another vendor on Angie's List and the first part of the job was excellent.

The salesman arrived and quoted me a price of $1000.00 per window, regqardless of size. His biggest sales ptich was how well rated he was on Angie's list. I told him I had recently replaced windows up north and the price seemed excessive. He told me the specifications in Florida were different. I told him that I wanted the exact specifications sent to me so that I could compare the two. He never got back to me. I eventually had the windows done for about $400 per window, installed. If you want to get lied to and ripped off, this is the company for you.

They were not subcontractors; they were a good team. They were very thorough, showed up early, and cleaned up after themselves. I was comfortable having on my property. I had a total of five estimates and Morgan Exteriors' estimate was in the middle of the road. Kurt Morgan is awesome. He would call and make sure everything was going well. He was on top of everything and I really liked the company and I would recommend their services to others. I will be using them again to replace three of my doors.

We met the company sales rep who demonstrated the product that seemed best suited for our needs. The company represents Simonton and other brands of windows and doors and exterior treatment. We were meeting with competitive companies. We were presented a proposal for a property in Tampa and another in Pinellas County. After signing the agreement, we met with Dennis, a company employee who took exact measurements and evaluated the details of the project. The windows were ordered, a time was set for installation and Dennis and Greg arrived and skillfully and professionally removed the existing windows, installed the replacements and left us very pleased with our decision. Ultimately, the product is excellent but the ability of the installers, in this case Dennis and Greg is of equal importance.

We signed a contract with them and the next day they called and said their was an extra expense to add wind shutters, which we did not want. We voided the contract and asked for a refund. Two or three weeks later they called and said the windows were in and they wanted to install them. We had threatening phone calls from attorneys say they were going to sue. They put a lean on our property for $11,070.

We signed the contract in May and they didn't complete the job until August, but we did have an extremely rainy spring here in Florida. Once they started the job, they worked continuously until it was finished (within the bounds of rainy days). We had never heard of this coating before, so we really have no idea if we overpaid or underpaid. Because of the expense, it is mostly used commercially, but it sounds like such a good idea, we decided to take a chance. It has a non-prorated 30 year warranty and the company seems to be very responsive in making sure everything is done correctly. The first step was to replace all the rotted wood, which was pretty random on 3 sides of the house, but really bad on the pool side of the house. Most pool cages are not attached correctly so water leaks down into the holes where the pool cage is attached and lots of wood rot results. The house is then sprayed with a waterproofing and every possible opening is caulked and then checked and rechecked. The second and third coats are white and are also sealer and waterproofer. The fourth coat is the color you have chosen. Each set of workers was very professional and easy to have around. The final outcome is really beautiful and has made the house look great. The top layer is much slicker than regular paint, so the blowing sand doesn't stick as well and it's easier to keep the house clean (we live in Pinellas county, which is just a giant sand bar). We have had LOTS of work done on the house and this group was head and shoulders more professional than most of the others (should have joined Angie's List in the beginning :-) ). We would definitely recommend them and will use them again when we re-roof.

The 4-hour appointment went on way too long. And then to get straight forward pricing was a shell game, reminiscent of a transaction at car dealership. The window brand seemed like if would hold up in the Florida weather. For me, $1,750 per window was outside of my budget. The rock-bottom price would not have been divulged until I agreed to purchase. Advice for Angie's Listers, say yes to see the best available pricing if the company comes to your home. There are rescission laws to protect consumers right to cancel in a 3-day period. I went shopping at a big box and found the same windows at a very reasonable price.

We are still waiting for the windows which they will install.

I initially called Morgan Exteriors to see if I could stop by to look at windows. The young man on the phone said no one was there at that time, but set up a time (a Thursday at 4:00) for me to stop by. Come that day I was unable to leave work early, so called to reschedule. The owner answered the phone and was surprised someone had set up an appointment for me to go to their office. (My guess is that there is not a showroom, which is not a problem, but why did the young man set up a time for me to stop by?) Even though there was an initial mis-communication with my first call, the owner was very friendly and had a sales person contact me promptly. We set up an appointment for the salesperson to come to the house. He was on time and very kind, friendly, respectful, and helpful. He answered all of my questions and explained everything to my satisfaction. He spent over 2 hours on the visit. EXCEPT: The quote he provided was only a hand-written quote that listed only the total price, which was not broken down into windows and labor. Not even a listing of specifications. After accounting for all of the "special discounts," his quote for the lowest Simonton windows was outrageous, so I asked him to quote on the PGT equivalent. He said he didn't have the PGT prices with him. (Huh?!) He said, "I commit to call you Monday with prices." His words. Well, no call Monday or Tuesday. I called the office on Wednesday to inquire and the woman who answered said she would have him call me (she was very nice). She called back saying that the salesman wanted to set up another appointment to present the PGT prices to me. (Huh?!) I explained what I had been told and she said that was how he worked. I asked how long the visit would take and she thought maybe an hour or so. (anther Huh!?) I expressed my displeasure with the situation and didn't set up an appt because I didn't have time the following few weeks. She was responsive in following up during this time. Before returning their call I got 2 more estimates. Both companies were able to give me costs (that were itemized) on different window brands and options at the time of their visit. Now that I have my 3 experiences and 3 quotes, I can say I will not use Morgan Exteriors for 4 reasons: their quote was almost double the price I received from another company (who I will use), they couldn't provide me with an itemized quote, they couldn't provide me a quote on anything other than Simonton at the visit, the salesman did not follow up (everyone else was responsive). One last item...their website claims: "We've NEVER Had a BBB Complaint. Ever." That's not true. The BBB has 1 complaint listed from March of 2013. The salesman also claimed they had the most and highest Angie's list rating of all window companies in the area...not true.

We had used this establishment a few years earlier and were very pleased with the results, we had our house gables sided and a screened in porch ceiling and one wall sided. No problem, we had asked if the siding could be painted. We were assured that it could be. A few years went by and the one side of our house's gable started to buckle. We did have the house painted and had the gables painted as per their assurance that we could. We recently (last 3 months) contacted them, We had to call twice and asked them to come out. a person did, he said he would have to have his boss come out. No one came. We called again, left a message, no response. We called again, left a message, no response. Finally we called again their receptionist took our name and phone number and said someone would call the next day. No call. Finally someone did call, (Kirk) we explained the situation, he then said well, maybe it was the paint, or maybe its that side of the house facing the sun, or maybe it should be replaced with aluminum siding, and said he was not sure if the siding manufacturer would honor the warranty, but nevertherless, he would have someone call and come out. No one came. I will call someone else, obviously these people are not reputable or reliable and I would not use them again. Not only did they not return phone calls or show up they "back-tracked" on their assurance that the siding could be painted and also the written lifetime guarantee that they gave us, and now have made it our problem to fix. I will also report them to our homeowners association. Stay away from these people.

We really wanted to use this company because they have an excellent guaranty for there work and product they sell. There sales people suck!!!!!!!!!! They do not return calls and they can not keep an appointment to save there life. For there first visit I was rescheduled 4 times. The second time they had to come out they tried to reschedule and I refused and they sent out someone new out and still did not get an estimate. I have called numerous times trying to get the info and still have not heard from them

The glass sliding doors look great, the folllow up service stinks

We needed a new roof and decided to get an estimate for both a new roof and window replacement from Morgan Exteriors, as we were told we could "get a better deal" by doing both together. The salesman came out and was professional. He spent almost 4 hours explaining every detail of the the product and service. At the end, we were shown figures of over $35,000. The roof alone was over $17,000 and the windows (10 windows, half of which are small) were over $18,000. This was definitely not what we had expected. We then explained that we had received two quotes already for the roof and each was around $6,000 (same exact products). And mind you, it is a small house with less than 2000 sq feet under the roof!! So he was almost triple the other estimates!!! Even the decking (over the two sheets included) was outrageous- "$5.00 per sq ft"- which comes out to $160 for an 8X4 board. Yes, you heard right, $160 per sheet of plywood vs. the $40 with the other estimates! Maybe he didn't expect us to see the "per sq ft" clearly written on the estimate!) He basically said that he could come down on the roof estimate but would have to "make up" on the windows. Well obviously it was too bad that we didn't have window estimates in hand in which to compare. After some discussion with his manager, he was able to get the roof down to a mere $13,000 (still more than twice the other estimates) and we told him to forget the windows (we'll do them ourselves for about $2,000). (And mind you this $13,000 estimate was conditional- be able to advertise the home on the website, work to be completed asap, etc, etc). The salesman seemed impressed with the quality of work that the one other company did on the back part of our house when he looked at it (this part of the home, a flat roof, was not included in this estimate) and we concurred that he had done a wonderful job and that the quality was exceptional. Now we understand the concept of "you get what you pay for", so we were expecting this estimate to be a bit higher than the others, considering the fact that they have to pay salesmen and all, but we did not expect to be paying for all the hours of estimates in which folks did not contract to do the work. It seemed that, at over $11,000 over our highest previous estimate (just for the roof), that we were paying a good chunk of someone's salary. The estimates were all for Timberline Lifetime HD shingles, and a 30 year warranty is sufficient. I don't expect to be in the house for 50 years!! We ultimately decided to go with the company that had done our previous roofing work and are very happy that we did. And after recently joining Angie's list and reading the reviews for both Morgan Exteriors and the other roofing company (All-Bay Roofing), this just confirmed that our decision was the correct one!

It went really well. It was a little high price, but they got it done quickly and efficiently. It was a very clean job. You get what you pay for.
