They were incredibly helpful in helping us select the right flooring and installation, and coordinated with the installers about the supplies needed for glue down installation. When the installers came up short on glue, they made it right. Excellent service from everyone, especially Will Jenkins, the store manager.

It was great! We know the owner and he made a very easy experience. It was probably a good 30% off anything else we could have spent so value-wise I guess their grade for price would be an A.

They have good product at a good price. They are really good about if you have questions if you are doing it yourself. They do install if you would want them to do it. They have vinyl, cork, solid wood and pergo flooring. We bought the peel and stick vinyl planks that looks like wood. They are friendly and helpful.

Went to Lumber Liquidators. Picked up our flooring, they did not have the matching transition molding, I ordered it, and pre-paid for the part. was told that we would have it in one week. Received a call three weeks later that is was in. Took us a week to get to the store to pick up and was told by the manager (or the guy who claimed to be the manager)Mike Kirinsky, that he gave the piece away to someone else who needed it. ---my prepaid part Also purchased starter tool kit $15.00 --- purchased a 2nd kit from Harbor Freight $8.99 that was a better quality

8:00 AM Saturday February 13, 2010 several workers arrived and started installing the hard wood floors. One worker took apart the electrical box located in the center of the living room floor and had difficulties trying to get a flat fit with the receptacle cover and the floor. I questioned when he started striking the box with a hammer and screwdriver. He was unable to communicate with me as he did not speak English well. For clarification purposes I will call him worker A as I do not know his name. That is when a second worker came over to assist him. (I will call him worker B). He spoke English well and told worker A to go get a tool to cut a small amount off of the electrical box to make a flat fit. I questioned worker B about this and he told me that it was the only way to make a flat instillation of the box cover and that they were only removing a small amount. Worker A then used a cutting tool and cut the box. Both worker A and worker B were unable to reconnect the box. That's when hammers and screw drives came out again. Still the cover could not be reattached due to the cutting of the box. 9:15 AM Arthur Rosian arrives at my house goes directly to worker B who is at the electrical box and they briefly speak. That's when Arthur in a loud voice states "That's the homeowners problem". He then gets up from the floor and points at me and says " I need to speak with you". His voice was loud and in an accusing manner. "Who do you think you are, you have to pay for delivery". I told him that there was no mention of any delivery fee from Nick and if there had been I would have made other arrangements. Nick was well aware of his offer of delivery before the final figure was agreed upon in our contract. Arthur then pointed his finger at me again and in a loud and argumentative voice says "And by the way you have to pay for furniture moving. My men were here all day moving furniture". I showed Arthur everything I moved and all the things his men moved. I went over the agreement that Nick and I made before Nick made his Instillation agreement. I then advised him that his men were at my house for 2 hours and most of that was ripping up carpet from 4 rooms and applying sealer to three rooms. Arthur then left taking a worker with him for another job. 4:00 PM all workers were finish for the day. The hardwood floors were installed in the master bedroom, living/dining combination room and one guest bedroom. The second guest bedroom, which I used the night before and where the hardwood flooring was stored was finished Monday. I was left to install the cover for the electrical box that they would not do after damaging it. This box was left with jagged sharp edges from the cutting. 8:00 AM Monday February 15, 2010. Workers from The Floor Pro's arrived and finished the second guest bedroom. Glue that seeped up in the other rooms was removed. 12:30 PM all workers were done and final payment was made. The glue that seeped up from the second guest bedroom was left for me to remove. I found several boards that were installed to be split and gaps that were filled with colored calking. I also saw boards near the living room slider that were raised at the long edge giving the appearance of a wavy floor. I called about these defects and was told that someone would be out to address them. 8:00 AM On or about February 22, 2010 Workers from The Floor Pro's came to address the defects in the flooring and instillation. I was told they were only here to fix one board that was reported to be broken. The waving in the wood would have to be looked at by someone as it may be a moisture problem. I told them regardless of what caused it they were the installers and I was promised a professional job. The workers fixed one broken board and left. I subsequently spoke with Nick, as I had his cell number, he told me he would look into it and arrange to have the problem fixed. Nick called me back and told me that someone would be at my house on Saturday 3/6/2010 to address the problems. 8:00 AM 3/6/2010 Arthur Rosian arrived with two of his workers. I pointed other split wood and the waving problem. Arthur told his workers to replace the boards that were split and told them what boards with the waving problem to replace. I questioned only changing one board where the waving was stating it would not solve the problem. I also pointed out to Arthur he did not tell his workers to replace the worst board with a wave. He told me "You'll have to live with it that's all we're doing". He then left and the workers replaced the boards. One of the boards they replaced was chipped at its end from cutting. I brought this to their attention and all they would do was calk the chipped pieces. The problem with the waving is just as bad after the fix.
Description of Work: Lumber Liquidators Do NOT use as they DO NOT stand behind their installers Arthur Rosian, dba The Floor Pro's. Do NOT use, unprofessional, rude, arrogant. Did not seal the sub floor correctly before installing hardwood floor. HSS Home Service Store. Would not help in correcting the problem with the floor, useless. Floor Completely failed within 3 days of installation.

Lumber Liquidators was eager to sell me the flooring and all the necessary items to go with it but when it came to delivery they completely blew it. They told me they didn't have my choice in stock and would order it. It would be there within 10 days and I could have the installer deliver it or I could pick it up. After 2 weeks had passed, I called to find out the status of my order. I was told that the style I chose was being discontinued and that they were having it shipped in from the manufacturer. (The manufacturer is in China and the flooring was being shipped by boat.) They told me it should be there within a few days. I waited another week and did not hear from them. I called them again and was told by the salesman that he was with another customer and would call me back. I waited 1-1/2 hours and then called the home office. I explained my plight to the lady on the other end of the line and she too said she would get back with me about the status of my flooring. I'm still waiting. I called the local store again and asked where my floor was. They couldn't tell me. So we called the installer to see if he could get the ball rolling. He said he would check into it. Finally he called and said that he could pick the floor up from the Plant City location and deliver it to us. We said ok and he delivered everything the same day. The installers arrived when they said they would. They were professional and courteous and we only have good things to say about them. They did a FANTASTIC job of installing our new floor and left our home clean of debris. The floor is beautiful. However, I learned 2 things from this experience. Don't pay for something you can't carry out of the store with you. Once they have your money, they could care less whether you get your goods or not. And, I won't buy anything from Lumber Liquidators ever again.
Description of Work: Purchased laminate flooring from LL in Lutz I had already had an estimate from their installer on how many square feet of flooring to purchase and what other items would be needed to complete the job.

The floor was installed quickly (by subcontractor or installer of LL). The wood is good quality and wears nicely.
Description of Work: The installers were efficient and knowledgeable. Lumber Liquidators in Lutz however, were not as helpful. Would not take my order over the phone even though that's a common practice. There's a lot of miscommunication in part of this company. There were some price discrepancies and advertising bait and switch. For example, credit line offered at 12 months with no interest (through GE Money) but when I received the paperwork it read 6 months with no interest instead. I complained about this misinformation and they just replied "It's been a long time since we've done a one-year with no interest". I'd advise the consumer to read the fine print with anything you do with this company, ask a lot of questions, and take names of those who help. Otherwise you have no recourse if the deal you sign with them is different than what was verbalized to you. Overall the quality of the floor is good.
