JUST PALMS

Contacted him near the end of the week, with a holiday weekend upcoming. Services were provided the middle of the following week, basically the next time he was near our area. No problems, no stress, pleasant to work with. I would hire him again, no question.

My wife called and left a voicemail on 9/21/16. We never got a call back so I called on 9/26/16 and got him on the phone. He said he could do the work the coming Friday or Saturday and would call me Wednesday or Thursday to set up a time. Never got a call.

I had left a message and then sent pictures hoping to get a faster response as Chris was working at another job. After speaking with him he gave $100.00 quote. He was in my area so would come by and pick up trimmings I had done and return to complete in a few days. When he got here he decided to finish the job then (Yes!!!). I asked him for feedback on the palms I had trimmed and he honestly said I overdid it and explained why more branches should have been left on. I really appreciated the info. Chris knows palms and anyone would be short selling their palm care if they did not use him and Just Palms. His assistant did a good job of removing branches as they fell and keeping yard cleaned up. Could not ask for better care and price. Thanks guys!!

Chris trimmed my palms, and it was all "easy breezy". Really nice guy and crew. Very efficient and tidy. Highly recommend.

Chris called early am to say he was in the area and was on his way to do the palms. Ironically we had already booked with another company to trim the palms for today and I thought it was them looking for instructions to the house. They came and did the job, excellent work, in fact. Were lean, courteous and very professional. I found out when paying for the services that they were not who we thought they were. In fact I had called for a quote and never heard back from the,. After all the confusion this turned out okay. I would like to use them again but would like it to go a little more smoothly next time Felt bad cancelling on the original tree trimmer we booked. Maybe next time you can get back to us sooner, Chris? It would save a lot of confusion. We are laughing now but geez this was sure crazy.

It's been a busy season for tree trimmers and I called quite a few. Many have minimums of 150 or more and could not come for up to 3+ weeks out. I found Just Palms on Angie's List and couldn't be happier. The palms are in my front yard and are now too high for me to reach with a pole saw. Just Palms (Chris) came out and cleaned them up in no time as well as cleaned up the mess. They were gone in 30 min or less and charged a very fair price IMO. The best thing was, we were expecting them on Monday and they came even earlier - Saturday. Good guys!

The provider arrived on time, and quickly and efficiently took care of trimming the palms and removing dead ones and left no mess at all. He did not disturb the flowers and plants and took care to haul away all the debris. The price was reasonable and the homeowners (my parents) thoroughly enjoyed the quality of his work. In a word: excellent! Will definitely contact them again for future needs.

I texted them a picture of my yard showing the palms that needed trimmed. He quoted me $200 to trim and haul away the debris after reviewing the picture. They showed up on-time, were polite, and professional. They completed the work quickly and to my satisfaction. I will have them do this work again.

First, response to my initial service request was very prompt, and service was scheduled quickly. I had two palms trimmed, and one oak had a few branches removed that were near the roof. All of the branches and debris were removed, and the areas were left clean. The trees look great! I would definitely use them again.

I contacted Just Palms to remove a few dead palm leaves and date clusters in our tall palm. I texted Chris a photo of our palm, and he promptly gave me a quote, where I then scheduled an appointment. On appointment day, he was punctual, and arrived with a partner. I am satisfied with the job he did on our palm, and will use him in the future.

Fantastic provider. Called within 2 hours of initial call on a Sat. Had me text pictures, got quote right back via text. Confirmed service and set date for Tue. Chris texted when he was on the way, and again when done. Chris did a great job, cleaned up completely. I will definitely use again. Had contacted 3 others who advertised in a local paper, could not get a response. Just Palms is the BEST.

I had requested 2 estimates from 2 providers here on Angie's list. JUST PALMS was the only one who replied in a speedy time frame after my email. I still have not heard from the other estimate. Chris replied quickly (within an hour via email /text message) and allowed me to send photo for estimate, but I didn't need to do that, as he was able to come by the house while in a nearby subdivision to give me an accurate estimate. I have 3 Washingtonian palm trees in the front yard, which we normally are able to trim, but at almost 20 feet, they are getting out of reach. JUST PALMS did a great job to remove the old branches, haul them away and left no noticeable debris on the lawn. I appreciate the level of communication which was reassuring in that Chris made every effort to let me know when he would be over, since it had rained and re-scheduled for the following day. I only choose my providers if they are on Angie's List, and I'm glad to give JUST PALMS a positive review. I would definitely call them for my future needs.

Just Palms responded to my Angie's List request for information within a few hours of my post, and came to provide an estimate the next morning. They were able to do the work we required at the time of the estimate. The work was done in a professional manner, all debris was hauled away, and they managed to do all the work without damaging the underplanting at the base of the palm trees. We won't hesitate to call them again for our next tree service.

I used Just Palms one time before in the past and was pleased with the work performed, so I made contact on a Wednesday and the work was performed the next afternoon. There was a mix-up on the actual date of the appointment (I thought we agreed on Thursday morning, but Just Palms thought Friday morning). However, the appointment was rescheduled for Thursday afternoon at my convenience. The job was completed quickly and effectively and, of considerable importance to me, none of the plants in the vicinity of the palm were damaged by the trimmings from the tree. I believe the cost was reasonable. I will definitely use Just Palms in the future.

Chris was very quick to respond to my inquiry about his services. He came out promptly to give me a quote and then scheduled me soon after that to do the work. He showed up on time and completed the work in the time frame promised. I am very pleased with the work and the price was very fair for the work done.

Trimmed up queen and dwarf palms and all look great. Very reasonable price and very professional and friendly. Worked on a Saturday as promised and called when there was a time change.

Chris was a pleasure to deal with. I sent him photos of the trees via text. He evaluated and texted back his price and schedule. He did what he said he would do, on the day he said he would do it. He cleaned up the trees and hauled off the rubbish quickly.

They showed up on the day they promised and did a wonderful job in about 2 hours. Their work was better than a provider I had used in the past.

Most tree trimmers do not understand how to trim a palm. Chris does. I sent him photo of the work, he did a quote, I agreed and all done over the phone. He came out within the time period that we agreed upon, did the work and I was happy.

The provider, Chris, gave me an estimate after I texted him photos of my trees. Frankly, this was good because it saved both my time and his. But that's where the efficiency and customer service ended. On July 15, the same day I emailed him my photos, Chris quoted me a price of $200 and said he could get to my trees "maybe Monday" (July 20). "Maybe" obviously was not definitive, so I asked him to get back to me with a date, but got no response. On July 17, I had not heard back so I followed up to ask him whether he could trim my trees or whether I should contact another company. He said he could not, in fact, do them during that entire week. On July 21, I asked Chris if he could cut my trees on Monday, July 27. He said he "should be able to." On July 27, Chris said he could get to me in "mid- to late afternoon" that same day. I waited around all day, but Chris never showed, nor did he send a text or call letting me know he would not come. On July 29, TWO DAYS AFTER THE APPOINTMENT DATE, Chris said he would "try to get out and cut the trees." By that time, I had hired another company, which offered to trim my trees for $160 (instead of Chris's $200). Giving people less than concrete dates for appointments is a poor way to run a business, and certainly telling people a date and not showing up is not only bad business, but inconsiderate. Even with all the rain, most people are understanding and would be fine with re-scheduling, but the way Chris handled me as a customer was poor, at best. I hope others have better luck!

The provider arrived on time and got right to work. He removed the seed clusters quickly, hauled them to his truck, and cleaned up all the debris. I was particularly concerned about the plants growing below the palm tree, since heavy seed clusters falling on them could have damaged them. He was very careful and no plants were damaged. The cost of the work seemed reasonable. I will definitely contact Just Palms in the future when I need other palm tree work done.
