These 3 palms had gotten just too tall for me to safely trim every 6 months. I was using another guy who just knocked on my door one day. But, he's nowhere to be found now and my trees needed trimming. I found Just Palms from Angie's List and called him for a rough estimate. I didn't want to have a guy come out and then be overwhelmed by his estimate. The estimate was about $100 which was okay with me because he really hadn't seen the trees. They weren't in "terrible" shape, but there were some fronds hanging down. Chris said that he would come by the next week and he did as scheduled. It was just him that did the work whereas my previous trimmer had 3 guys. I noted that I was concerned about damage to my window screens and flower garden directly under the trees. There was no problem. Every trimmed frond was tossed out into the yard completely avoiding any damage. My other trimmers would just let the fronds fall while one of the guys used a rake to direct it away from my house. To their credit, there wasn't any real damage to my garden. Chris took out quite a few fronds and cleaned up the tree very nicely. It was by no means a "hurricane" trim and I didn't want that anyway because it's not good for the tree. When he was done, I asked him if the estimate was still okay. He said that it was more work than he thought and that he would probably have charged $120. He might have accepted the estimate, I didn't ask, but, I was okay with paying the $120 because I thought he did an excellent job and I wanted to have him trim again in the future.

He does a great job and does not charge a lot. He always hauls all the stuff away. He should be coming again for service today. I do not ask him for a quote anymore, we just have him come over and take care of the palm trees because his prices are reasonable.

Called Just Palms and left a message with my contact info, got a return call from Chris within an hour, he gave me an appointment for the next day. He trimmed up two 20' tall queen palms and they looked great afterwards. All the branches and mess was cleaned up so you could not even tell he was there. I was very pleased with his work and will call him the next time I need anything trimmed up.

Chris came out for an estimate and showed up as promised the next day from when I called. He gave me a good price and did the work on the spot. The work was excellent and he left the yard in good shape removing all debris. I would call him again for tree service.

They gave me the lowest quote but I wasn?t pleased with their professionalism. It wasn?t very bad. I didn?t choose them over another company because the latter was much more professional, even though their quote was a little bit higher. I had called this company for a quote, but they never called me back. They showed up on my door in order to give me a quote. They arrived at 7:30 p.m. in the evening and I was already settling in for the night. I think they should have given me a call before coming out. They quoted me $152 to trim 4 queen palms. They were very quick. They were punctual. I will not use them again in the future.

I called Chris and left a message. He called back and asked for more detail. He gave me a time frame when he would be out. He had to change the day but called to let me know. They came out and performed the work and cleaned up and left. I will be calling them again in the fall. By the way, I got a better price because my neighbor was having work done the same day. They prefer to come to one location and do several houses to save time.
