Nick from Ierna's showed up right on the time scheduled and went right to wok. Cleaned and serviced the a/c compressor and air handler, and went into great detail with me on the age and status of the units, and how to take care of them. We purchased one of the new Nest thermostats, and I felt comfortable having Nick install it as he was knowledgeable about them, and has one in his own house. He took the extra effort the do the job thoroughly and professionally, and explain what he was doing. Will definitely have them back for any service needs.

They looked at a list of repairs suggested by another company and discounted all of them. They are honest.

I have it two weeks and it never got cool. Set at 70 house reading was 83. Called 5/20/2013 and told them the A/C wasn't working and the thermostat for the AC I purchased was not the one installed. It was a simpler manual cheaper model. When Tech showed up he knew immediately there was a problem. The coils were coated with 2" of ice. After defrosting the ice, he said the valve they installed was faulty and was leaking. They have to order both the correct thermostat and a new valve. I will not have any AC until then. By the way, I live in Tampa, FL!! and no AC

The company was very professional. They made my appointment around my work schedule which I appreciated greatly. During the service call the worker was pleasant and informative.

I had purchased a livingsocial voucher for a 21 point inspection. The guy came out, showed us the problems that the A/C unit had and informed us of a program the company offers. We signed up for a years membership but were very pleased with the service and professionalism.

Scheduled the appointment last week for the 21 point clean & tuneup special for $29.95. I received a confirmation call the day before confirming the appointment which was scheduled between 8:30am and 10:30am. At 8:30am I received a call from the technician, Nick, indicating he would be arriving in 15 minutes. He did show up on time. I took him around to each air handler unit where he performed visual and electrical inspections of the unit. As he was using his testing equipment he explained what he was doing and what the expected readings should be. He did the same with the condensers located outside the house. One thing he did that the previous company did not was to blow out the line for each unit. It was amazing how much dirty, slimy liquid was found in each drain line. He indicated this should be done to prevent blockage. Nick made suggested that to protect my systems I should consider surge protectors and an upgrade on my 5 ton unit of a hard-start kit, which I already had on my 2 ton units.I told Nick I will consider it and he did not do a pressure sale which was appreciated. Overall I found Nick, professional, knowledgeable and friendly and IERNA is definitely my new AC/heating company for all my future needs.

Had an issue with the one of the people on my second maintenance call, the manager called me , resolved the issue and sent Derek to my house. Derek provided me with excellent service ! I am very happy with them. I appreciate companies that listen to feedback and correct problems.

Although the tech was running very late he was extremely apologetic and very nice upon arrival. He went over and above to accommodate my time crunch while still doing a thorough inspection and tune-up as well as answering various questions for me, slightly outside the scope of the coupon. Further he agreed to complete his job ( which required him to access the system on our roof) and allowed me leave the property in order do that I could keep another appointment I had. He called soon thereafter to let me know he was leaving and to give me a run-down of what he found (nothing major, whew!) I'd say that although tardy and off to a slightly rocky start, he made up for that and I would definitely use this company again. He seemed very trustworthy and professional.

They were very good. They were very professional and on time. We were very impressed with them.

They did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them. From the installer to the follow up technicians, everything about their service is great! They offer the best products at a very reasonable price.

The whole transaction left me with a bad taste. I don't know about labor & parts warranty yet so I guess we'll see how they handle that if it's an issue. We had several sales representatives from different companies give us quotes on replacing our AC system. Although they were not the cheapest, we chose Ierna because we liked the brand they quoted and we received a $500 discount/coupon in the mail from them for being loyal customers of a business they either bought or merged with. They also didn't have many negative reviews on Angies List and very minor complaints with the BBB. Short of the long, we discussed with Victor, the sales rep, that we would like to use this coupon we received in the mail instead of the coupon he brought with him. He said that it would be OK and that we should just present the coupon to the installers. The day of the install we gave the coupon to James before they started the job and he said, "no problem." AFTER they finished ripping out our old system, James then tells us that they would not honor the coupon. We then spoke to the owner, Ron, who basically said either pay the higher amount or they could reinstall the old AC and leave. Given no other options and not willing to work with us we opted to reinstall the old AC. We knew we could get a cheaper, comparable HVAC system elsewhere. Joe, another Ierna representative, then called a few minutes later and offered us 2/3 of the $500 we thought we were saving and agreed to throw in a cheap UV light to close the deal. Not the savings we were expecting. To me this felt like a classic bait and switch by starting the job to the point of no return and then raising the price. On the upside, the installers were two hours early and seemed to do an OK job. I haven't had their work inspected but considering how we got off on the wrong foot I think it would be prudent to have it checked out. AC still going strong but not a reflection of Ierna's service. My electric bills really reflect true savings in replacing the system.

This company was very helpful in working through a homeowners claim I had. The manager went above and beyond to provided paperwork that my insurance company was asking for and was prompt at returning my calls. Went it came time to remove and install they worked around my schedule and were courteous and finished the job on time. I feel the esitmate I recieved from them was reasonable and fair, I had recieved estimates higher and lower than them but decided to go with Iernas and have been happy with the service they provided and the unit so far.

Clay was right on time, and was very kind and professional. He listened to my issue with my old thermostat and system, and provided details on different options. He was kind enough to wait for my husband to get home so that he could help with the solution selection. Clay installed, tested and showed me how easy it is to use the Nest system. He did find a problem with my heater breaker, and advised that it be replaced - which my husband will do tonight. He also worked with me on the warranty questions I had. Before he left, he provided his contact information in case we had an issue with the system after we change the breaker.

We were fortunate enough to have the owner, Ron, work up a quotation for my home here in Tampa, for a 4 ton heat pump with variable speed handler. The breadth of services described was thorough and thoughful, giving consideration to all the elements of the installation (beyond just a Manual J calculation). In addition to the individual components for replacement, the quotation explicitly stated all costs, parts, labor, and it was clear that no additional fees were hidden in the quote. Best of all, the quote included assurances on service and warranty on installation for the next 2 years--these assurances differentiated this company from five other competitors from whom we solicited quotes. We ultimately selected Ierna's given the good ratings on Angie's List, the competitiveness of their quote, the years of experience, and the quality of the products offered. It?s worth mentioning that the price of the contract was the only one of the five that enabled us to recoup our expenses based on energy savings, within a 10 year period (which seems to be the life expectancy of these components here in FL). Our system was installed last week and was completed within a single day. The associates who installed the system were professional and patient, taking efforts to minimize any mess as a result of tear out/installation, and left the place looking better than it was. In fact, the attic, where the handler was situated, was previously a mess of ducts and returns prior to installation and they revised the returns considerably to the effect of making it appear cleaner and more efficient, even to my untrained eye. Especially appreciated was the high level of expertise of the team--it seemed to me that they were quite senior and their familiarity with each other, as well as their combined experience resulted in highly efficient execution of tasks. In conclusion, I'm happy to report positive experiences all around and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ierna's to family and friends.

Everything went pretty well. One small issue that had to be resolved, but was done very well.

Called for their advertised special. I had an existing problem of outside unit buzzing when running so I knew something needed fixing or replacing as well. Jay, the service tech, dida very thorough job cleaning and inspecting the outside unit and replacing the bad part. Flushed the drain line and inspected the air Handler and evaporator. Treated the drain pan with chemical tablets to keep crud from developing. Worked for over an hour. Did a great job. Gave me estimates on a new unit since current one is 16 years old. No high pressure sales.

In December i installed a new 4 ton Rheem air conditioner. The old 3-1/2 ton unit was under powered for the square footage of the house. The start relay and start capacitor were replaced on 8/6/12 due to the compressor overworking to get air through the substandard ducts. Ierna's team of 4 arrived on 8/15/12 and worked for 3 days from 9 am to 7 pm (Billy, Cameron, Jeremy and ??). Putting in the new vents was difficult because the old vents had been nailed in and the ceiling is plaster. They worked steadily without complaining of the heat. The house is u-shaped and the master bedroom and office are on the opposite side of the house from where the air handler is in the garage. The master bedroom and office were the problem areas and getting little air. The master bedroom now gets adequate air. Logistically, it's almost impossible for the office to get abundant air flow since it is the farthest from the air handler and has to travel around the "U." I called Ierna and a technician came out and adjusted all of the vents. He suggested the only real solution for the office would be having 2 zones. I will keep this under consideration. I hardly hear the A/C starting up now. It used to really struggle to get going. I didn't realize how hard the A/C was working. The company that installed the A/C didn't warn me of the duct problem, but at the time I wouldn't have wanted to spend the extra $5700 to have the ducts done. I am very pleased with the performance of the A/C now. The ceiling was cracked around each of the vents since it was plaster and not wallboard and Ierna is taking care of the repairs. I'm waiting for a call from their referral contractor now.

They told us the we needed to have them replaced, and we ended up calling another company to get a second opinion. The second company did some chemical thing where they can put in a stop leak. They did a stop leak on it and ended up costing us a coupe of hundred dollars instead of thousand.

Iernas quickly and painlessly removed old unit from yard and air handler from attic. They then installed new unit, mapped out and installed new drain lines at proper angle an elevations. Because of high pressure due to small old duct work, Joe Mazza became involved and worked tirelessly to get system operating at peak efficiency. The whole Iernas team worked to get everything done quickly and correctly. Our system has worked for almost a year now with absolutely no issues and our electric bill has been reduced substantially. I cannot recommend them high enough

The company did an excellent job. The salesperson was on time, very knowledgeable, fair and helpful. It is rare that I state that about a salesperson. The installers arrived on time on the day that was promised (the next day, we did not have to wait). They had all of the proper equipment. They did excellent work on a difficult job, our house is old and not standard. They had to do a few work arounds and deal with extreme heat during the installation. The installation took them all day and into dinner time. I believe that they finished around 7pm. We were impressed that they didn't take breaks and didn't smoke. (we don't smoke and are sensitive to cigarette smoke). They broke for a quick lunch only. When the building inspector came out to look at the job weeks later, he said that it was clean and exactly to code. He stated that all of the jobs from Ierna look excellent and exactly the same. He said that they do a good job. Indeed they did. I had considered a "B" rating on the Professionalism for a small hassle we had getting them to repair some plaster that came down when they had to take the air handler through the air intake vent in the ceiling instead of the smaller attic access opening. This was from the main office and seemed to be a scheduling issue rather than a "we don't want to do it" issue. In addition, we had trouble getting an air filter installed (we thought it came with, at least the first one) and the truck put a few gouges in the concrete on our driveway. Admittedly, our driveway has a steep hill and we have also nicked it with a moving truck. We felt that these were minor annoyances. They did schedule the plaster repair and came out and did it with no problem. I would recommend them highly and will use them in the future. The other estimates we received for the same work were $1-2k higher without the same level of dedication. However, if you have a house that has new tile, paint, carpet, fancy driveway or so forth and do mind dirt, scratches and mild damage you might wish to mention this and ask them to be extra careful. We didn't mind and stated so.

Ierna's had run a special coupon a couple of months previously and honored that price even though we had ended up rescheduling the appointment more than once over a couple of months timeframe. We specifically asked for Tod because he had been here before. There is almost nothing to report since everything was so great, which is exactly like the last time they were here. Prompt, helpful and understanding when we had to reschedule a few times, professional.

They contact you annually to check about doing a service call. When it was still under warranty, they reminded me of my free services. They are prompt and efficient. If you call with a problem, they come out within 24 hours. They also do follow up communication to make sure that everything went well. My original A/C unit was beyond usable years, and my home warranty company just wanted to have it repaired. Finally, Ierna's convinced the company that the A/C needed to be replaced and got it for me at a great rate! They really advocated for me to make sure I got a new machine.

Excellent technician! Very punctual, knowledgable and professional. He took the time to explain the problem as well as check the system. He offered me some tips so that this doesn't happen again. If my system needs to be serviced, please know that is will be Ierna's service vehicle you will see in front of my home in the future!

Work was performed very professionally and work site was cleaned exactly the way it was found initially. I was very happy with the 1 day turnaround and with Ierna's communication throughout the event. System now works flawlessly. Without me asking, Ierna's actually credited the cost of the initial diagnostic visit toward the cost of the compressor installation. Ierna's also made a follow-up call to ensure I was satisfied, I was very satisfied.

Tech Matt, was amazing, and took care of everything in a professional manner. After having a horrible contractor mess up our entire a/c system it was a relief having such a great crew come and fix everything! A/C works great now! THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!
