IERNA's Heating & Cooling

The service person, Nick, was extremely professional and polite. He called 20 minutes before arriving and was right on time (they also called the night before to verify the appointment). I do not have any issues with my a/c, but just wanted to make sure everything was ok. Nick explained the work he was doing step by step and couldn't have been nicer. If I have any issues in the future, they will be the first ones I call!

They called before they went to our house for both days. They gave me the discount that was published on Angie's list for the emergency call. Before he left, he clearly explained what he did and what needs to be done. He wasn't able to fix the same day because he had to order the part, however, they came back today first thing in the morning. Just waiting for the house to cool down.

Showed up on time and performed work as scheduled. Also suggested over $5k to replace my ducts which I will not be doing anytime soon.

Bought a house. An Ierna's sticker was on the heat pump outside unit. Checked Angie's List to see if it was a reliable business. It was on the list, so I called them. Appointment for a check up - Robert called before arriving. Very pleasant, did the job in a timely manner, told me information about the heat pump and that they had serviced it before. Very satisfied with the service.

Excellent. Before I called them, I called a couple of people around to get a general perspective on where they where pricing wise. So, I called 10 different contractors and ask them how much it will cost me to put 4 pounds of R-410A on my AC. Prices varies widely. So some people wanted to charge me $150/pound. Keep in mind that you could actually buy 25 pounds of this stuff for $70 at ebay. So I know the real pricing. Ierna's was the only dealer that gave me a real fair price for it. This is the kind of stuff that makes me trust the people I hire.

They came out and did a great job. I was very happy with them.

They are professional, polite, efficient, on time, competitively priced, provided all my tax forms for rebates and did a stellar job. I have recommended them to all my friends. This company embodies all the good qualities that Americans value.

They installed one in 2009 and the second last 2012. They come twice a year to service it. All of the people are very knowledgeable and professional. They come on time and adjust the system carefully and tell me thing I can to minimize cost. They are good about that. I had them put two rather expensive ionizers in my system, I have a dual system in my house. It's supposed to help keep pollen from floating in the air when you breath it, keep the dust and pollen...it makes it fall in the ground more rather than breath it. It's hard to tell the exact percentage but they made the difference with the clean air in the house.

They're very good. We never had any problems. They were always very pleasant. If we have any problems, they take care of it. They were honest with us. They gave us a fair price and they told us everything that needed to be done right away. They did exactly what they said they were going to do as opposed to coming in and doing something completely different and not telling me about it which has happened before.

We were not very impressed at the level of service that the sales person/owner at Ierna?s provided us. After having serviced our old air conditioner unit a couple of times, the sales person suggested that we switch the entire HVAC. So we decided to obtain quotes from 3 different installers. The first installer only wanted to replace the AC. We thought that was not the right way to go. The second installer did a very thorough job explaining all of the things that he would do, went into the attic to inspect the current system; however he was pushing the Amana brand. When I spoke to the rep at Ierna?s about the discussion that I had with the 2nd installer, he went on about how his product was much more superior, that the Amana brand was no good, and how he would personally show up after the installation to make sure that everything worked sufficiently, etc. So we decided to go with Ierna, but stressed a couple of times that we wanted to make sure that the back rooms of the home were getting better ventilation b/c the old system didn?t seem strong enough to achieve this. The Ierna rep., told us that in order to achieve this, an additional register would need to be installed in back room. He communicated that this would be part of the installation, but at the end of the day, it was never done. This left us disappointed and when I could not get the rep to call me back, I spoke to one of the owner?s at Ierna. From excuses like, ?the rep was new on the job,? to, ?lower the temperature in order to make the rooms cooler,? he sent back an installer. All the installer did was increase the size of the duct work going to the back room and we had to pay him to have this done. We really felt that we were fed a sales pitch. Once the sales rep., got our business he never returned my calls or stopped by to see if we were satisfied with the install. On a positive note, we felt that the people who handled the installation did a very good job. They were very professional, courteous and punctual.

They were to have 24/7 coverage for emergency services. Our 2 year old system (top-end Bryant system) that they installed failed during very hot FL summer weekend - Called at 10 pm on a Friday evening and repeatedly throughout the weekend - was repeatedly sent to a voice mail and no return call till Monday morning. My wife has severe Asthma - so I needed to contact another company to come out to fix system. I asked to cancel my new annual contract (not even due to start till following month) and to refund the cost. They at first argued and later agreed. Despite this and my repeated calls to remind them to send the refund. It never was sent to us. Stay away from these folks - they are not reputable.

I accepted a low priced "tune up" flyer offer and came to the conclusion this was just a fishing job to up-sell all kinds of other stuff. The "tune up" was pretty much what I paid for: Look and see and quote new equipment, and not much else.

The technician was very professional and thorough. He educated us on our units and pointed out trouble areas. He gave good recommendations to resolve any issues and helped us trouble shoot an ongoing problem. The level of detail he provided was top notch and left us with a very good impression. We would use this company again for our AC and Heating needs.

My only problem with them is that they seem to push "new" systems every time they come. My house is 13 years old & the system installed by the Builder probably wasn't the best but I just feel they push a little too hard. This is the only reason I give them a B rather then an A. The price for the check up is very low & I wonder if it is in order to get a possible sale.

These guys (Jason, Nick, and Dallas) were great! They were polite, professional, punctual, and worked non-stop. The system works well. The attention to detail is evident by looking at the nice work done on the duct seals around the garage unit.

They were the best company for Heating and AC. We bought a whole new air conditioner from them. They were professional and courteous. They come do checkups for us about once a year; but you call them any other times they do come right out. They do sell a good product; a Bryant is the brand that we bought and it also dehumidifies the air too. They came right out and were able to fix everything every time that we contact them.

Our preferred technician, Josh, came out on time and performed far more than necessary for just $29.99, but that is what IERNA does for their customers. Spoils them rotten! We are 100% pleased with everything ever done by IERNA at our home, and will continue to use them as our sole A/C company.

They were very professional. Began the job the day I received the quote. I was fit in amongst other jobs so it took 4 days to complete the job but I was never without AC. The crews were great guys. I would definitely recommend them to others.

Very prompt, professional, and friendly. Been using Ierna for many years with consistently great service. Technicians are top notch and knowledgable. Attention to details and clean-up are better than other companies I've used.

Very good. Technician had to remove some shrubs to get access to the unit, which we thought was above and beyond what we expected (I thought he would tell us to do it). Nice guy, great manners - even offered to haul the shrubbery up to our trash for us.

We were pleased with their work. What stood out to me was their punctuality, and the type of air-conditioners they had, and agreement. That is a local company and I know they are good with working for charity. They would cover us if we had a problem.

I searched Angie's List for another AC company to get a second opinion. because I felt that the estimate contained a lot of fluff. The company I chose came out the next day and diagnosed the problems. The difference between the two diagnostics was amazing! Ierna's technician (who was very friendly and nice) did not mention that the insulation on my cabinet cover was partially separated causing an obstruction to the air flow. In fact, when the second company opened up the cabinet, it made us wonder how that got missed since it was so obvious. Ierna's technician didn't know that the capacitor wasn't working right (the second company put a meter on it, and showed me the low readings 11.2 UF should have been 80). Had I gone with Ierna I would have paid $1200 and still would not have got the problem resolved. I am afraid to think how much extra they would have charged to come back out and rediagnose the system, and equally concerned that they might not have gotten it right the second time. All I heard was that its old, its working as hard as it can. Well its about 10 years old, and I guess it doesn't work so well if it has insulation blocking the air flow. The second company came today (7/10/13) and expertly diagnosed all the problems, cleaned the coils, cleaned the drain line, applied an algecide, fixed the loose insulation, and replaced the capacitor all for $279. I have been an Ierna customer in the past, but I felt that their service technician was more about sellling me services, and less about fixing my AC Unit. The AC is working wonderfully now. I saved a grand. I am switching companies.
