The electrician that was sent out to provide an estimate (and eventually do the repairs), Bernard, was very professional and very patient about explaining the work that needed to be done. He was accommodating in scheduling the two-day job and even took the time to review the work with me when he was finished so I would understand everything that was done.

The work was impeccable! We had a home inspector out again to look over the work and it passed the test. Bernard was always on time, answered our questions, worked very hard (taking a 30 minute lunch as his only break), and always cleaned up after himself. The price was a little high, but with the 10% Angie's list discount it worked out. Also would rather pay more initially and have a job done right, than have to keep having someone come out again. We noticed a problem with an electrical outlet after the work had been completed and Bernard was out the next day and took care of it free of charge. Would highly recommend (and have) to my friends!

Company representative arrived on time. Professional, pleasant and extremely competent. Completed all work in less than two hours. Made sure that I reviewed each problem and was satisfied with the result. VERY REASONABLE. Would definitely hire them again.

Very responsive--returned initial call quickly and came at the time promised. Looked into all problems mentioned and able to repair everything. Very polite and knowledgable. The price was $84 for the first half hour and $84 per hour afterwards. I honestly don't know how this compares to other electricians but it didn't seem unreasonable. Would definately use this company again

Technician arrived on-time, completed all work with 1 hour. Work was done in a professional manner, and all work areas were cleaned-up. Was able to get an appointment for a small job on short notice and I would use this company again without hesitation.

Called the company and Bernard came over in an hour! Talk about service...He was very, very nice and diagnosed the problem right away. He even talked to my husband on the phone and explained to him what was wrong. I will definitely use them again and again.

They were extremely prompt. They were out in less than 45 min when I called, for my emergency. It was at night and I was loosing food due to shorts we have been having with our electricity. He explained everything to me which was very nice.

I called and emailed the owner to request that they come out to install electrical outside for a pump. In my communications, I identified myself as an Angie's List customer. The call was placed on a Monday, and I was told they would come out on Thursday to look at what needed to be done. On Friday, I called and asked if anyone was able to get out to look at the job and was told not yet. I still have not heard from anyone, and it is Wednesday, more than a week after the initial call and nearly 1 week after the date they were to arrive. I had even asked up front if this was a job they were interested in or was it too small for them to want. The company should have admitted up front that they did not want to spend their time on this small job, instead of stringing me out for over a week with no communication initiated on their part.

He scheduled the repair at his very next opening, called the night before, setting a time, and arrived the next morning on time. He was polite and personable, and proceeded to do the job to our complete satisfaction. The fee was as quoted for the first half hour. The job was completed within the time frame, and the quoted price included a 10% discount.

Made appointment with Bernard one week in advance. Bernard gave me the earliest date. A half hour after appointment time, never showed up. I contacted Bernard and he stated that he never put me on his schedule.

Bernard (the employee who came to our house) was on time, efficient, friendly, neat, and informative.

Job 1: The price was reasonable. They explained everything they were going to do. They were great all-around. Job 2: They are very nice people, extremely professional, and easy to work with.

Bernard and his crew were a pleasure to do business with! He was more than willing to work with us on some last minute changes to the proposal. They arrived on time everyday they were here. Bernard even had to come out on a Saturday to finish up some final details due to rain delaying the work on a Friday. We will be doing some more work in the future and know exactly which company we'll choose. My emails and calls to the office were promptly returned, Lizanne is a joy to work with.

Bernard was great. He was really pleasant to have working at my house. He gave me some ideas to install the outlets and transfer switch and answered all my questions. He also installed the transfer switch and 30 amp inlet I bought and didn't force his products on me. He also gave me tips on running the generator!

He left, and didn't come back for a few days with the transformers. He installed the two transformers and new bulbs. They were a different color, so they look terrible with different shades of bulbs mixed together all over the house. He left without fixing some of the fixtures, and I told him that I wasn't satisfied, but he left anyway. I went ahead and paid them anyway, even though he shouldn't have had to make two trips. I told them I had an older house, and they should have been prepared when he came out. I had to call another company to come out and finish the job.

3 men came on time and they were prepared to do the job. They did a terrific job and did a nice job cleaning up the mess! They recommended and installed an electrical switch to operate the coach lights by the garage, and installed cellular apparatus so that the lamp posts are turned on at dusk and turned off at sunrise. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them highly. I give them a ''C'' on responsiveness since I had to be vigilant and persistent on getting on their schedule. I give them high marks otherwise.

Scheduling this was easy as it was not a rush job. Workman arrived on schedule. This was MUCH less costly than the figure quoted by a company whose information was supplied by Dan's Fan City. I will definitely call Absolute Electric again for any electrical problem or project!

Bernard Planas was the person that helped us. He did a wonderful job! He gave us a 15% senior discount and a 10% Angie's List discount. He was here for 4 hours but only charged us for 3. He was absolutely wonderful!
