Company phone answered quickly and easily made appointment. Electrician and his helper were professional, keeping us informed during all the jobs and even found that our door bell was about to short out and fixed that. At the conclusion everything was done well and cleaned up.

Bernard was very professional, polite, friendly, and knew exactly what to do. He called the day before to confirm and get directions, and arrived on time. He explained what he was doing every step of the way, gave me great advice about several electrical issues around the house. He went to work right away, wasted no time, cleaned up after himself, gave me advice on which fans and light fixtures would work best. He was in general a very pleasant and knowledgeable electrician, and very honest about my options and the costs involved with certain repairs. He wasn't able to get to all the repairs needed as I have an older home which has a lot of electrical problems, but he was so good at what he does, I scheduled him to come back and do all of my electrical work, even if I have to wait, he is well worth it. Lizanne who took my appointment over the phone was also very, polite and friendly, even called me back the same evening after Bernard came out to schedule the next visit.

Outstanding service. Since this was a troubleshooting job, there was no estimate, but Bernard provided the rate structure in advance. He arrived promptly on time, and started by asking questions about the house -- obviously had worked in enough older houses to have some idea of what he was looking for. He explained what he was doing whenever I asked, and related additional information about old house electrics that will come in handy later. The work was done in roughly an hour -- far less than I'd expected.

I'm very happy with the quality and timeliness of Bernard's work. He is an absolute professional and truly an expert in his field. Bernard is very organized and cleans up each area he works in. I scheduled him to come back and install the electrical drop for my gate. I highly recommend Bernard and will call him again when I need his expertise.

To install the new electric line, Bernard had to go through the attic which is very space restricted by the high ceilings. It must have been 160oF and the attic is full of beams and crannies which make it very difficult to pass a line. Bernard succeeded though and I still don't know how. Did not make any damage to the apartment and repaired all tiny holes needed to fish the line. One of the halogen lights would not fit under the cabinet because of its size. Bernard altered the case to make sure it would fit perfectly under the cabinet. Work is phenomenally good!

Very well. He showed up when he said he would and did the work we asked him to in a timely manner. I found him to be very well educated and professional. He also noticed a gas smell in our attic and informed us of this. The gas company came out and it was discovered that we had a small leak. This could have been a much more complicated problem had it been left alone. As far as his work, I noticed that he was very good at diagnosing and fixing various problems in the house. I will certainly hire him again.

Bernard did a fabulous job! Very professional, highly efficient, and honest. I also recollected an estimate from Bernard for additional electrical work for $700 (replace an outside electrical box), so I made an appointment 2 months in advance. However, my elderly father, who lives in the house, wanted to hire someone else, who gave him an initial estimate of $500 for the same job. I told Dad there was no way it would only be $500, but I canceled the appointment with Bernard, per his request, and Dad ended up paying a total of $859 for the same $700 job. $159, more than Bernard would have charged him.

He was so great to work with. Before calling Absolute Electric, I had two other electrical companies come out to solve this problem. They could not determine why the lamp post didn't work, charged me for looking at it, and never came back to fix it. If you want your job done right, call Absolute Electric!

He arrived early and began working on the receptacle in the hallway, then he installed the ceiling fan. Since I was in the office working, while he was working, we chatted a lot. He did an excellent job and vacuumed the ceiling debris from the floor when he was finished. A very nice and congenial young man.

Quote of $560 to install 14 ceiling fans. We actually over estimated and only had 11 ceiling fans to install. On day one Bernand arrived on time and was extremely nice. He installed 7 fans and a bad breaker. We had outdated fan mountings in the living room. He graciously had to spend a long time fixing that unforeseen problem. At the end of the day, the bill was $421.00. He returned two days later to install the remaining 4 fans. Again we ran into several other issues with our breakers. Due to those issues, Bernard stayed most of the day to fix them. The bill for the end of the second day was $560.00. Over the original quote Bernard fixed the dryer breaker, installed a GFCI receptacle in the master bath, he replaced several breakers throughout the home, removed and replaced 8 wall dimmer and switches for the fans, replaced parts and repaired the ceiling mounts for the living room fans. Bernard is an exceptional worker. He is friendly and a pleasure to have in our home.

He arrived on time. He was pleasant, informed, and communicative. He sought my input where decisions were needed. He offered helpful suggestions. I found him to be very conscientious, for example, he started to leave and then noticed an adjustment that was needed. He made sure they were working and that I understood how to control their operation. He picked up after himself, as well. I was most impressed with how he called me a few days later to ask how the fixtures were working. I've been so busy during the workday I hadn't had a chance to respond.

They were very professional, efficient and we were very happy.

He fixed the problem within 15 minutes. We had a bad outlet on the exterior of the house. I'm trying to reach him for a second job now.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE PROMPTNESS AND COURTESY SHOWN BY BERNARD. HE WAS ABLE TO FIT ME INTO HIS BUSY SCHEDULE QUICKLY. HE IS THE OWNER AND ONLY EMPLOYEE OF ABSOLUTE ELECTRIC. HE WAS AT MY HOME ABOUT 1-1/2 HOURS, FIRST TROUBLE-SHOOTING THE PROBLEM AND THEN FIXING IT. HE OBVIOUSLY KNOWS HIS TRADE AND WORKS QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. AFTER HAVING BEEN "RIPPED OFF" MANY TIMES IN THE PAST BY ELECTRICIANS (OR THOSE THAT CALL THEMSELVES ELECTRICIANS), HE WAS A VERY WELCOME CHANGE. I WILL DEFINITELY CONTINUE TO USE BERNARD FOR ANY AND ALL ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS I HAVE IN THE FUTURE. HE IS REFRESHINGLY HONEST AND TRULY KNOWS HIS TRADE.

The company was called early in the morning and came out the same day, the job took approximately one hour. We have had no problems with the breaker since the replacement was done.

This guy is great. Bernard is very thorough & courteous. He doesn't hesitate to ask questions and make suggestions to be sure we are satisfied with the outcome. He doesn't take short cuts and actually does more than required. If all contractors had his work ethic we wouldn't need Angie's List!

Fabulous!! I had another contractor, that was unable to fit my project in before the holidays, just not enough time, and I thought no way would I get the job done. However, I called Absolute and the very helpful staff managed to squeeze my small job in one day, after I called, that never happens! Because he was so prompt, I can now get the kitchen backsplash tiled before Christmas too! Bernard was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Even climbed up into my attic to make sure things were done right. Exceeded all expectations and I will definitely keep him in mind for future electrical needs for my 1941 house. Price was most reasonable also. Thanks so much Bernard & your very helpful staff.

The job was much more complicated than anticipated (old wiring in an old house). Bernard spent and entire day in my attic in August. He was helpful, positive, and a terrific sport!

Arrived on time and very professional during first visit. Took a few days longer than expected to receive quote for requested follow-up work and quote seemed quite high for additional work to be done.

He arrived exactly on time, took several minutes to access the problems and confirm what was needed. Worked continuously while he was here and completed what was a very difficult wiring task in a professional manner. I would definitely call this company for any future electrical needs.

The overall experience was excellent and professional. They gave me a quote and scheduled my service date all in the same day. The day before service the owner called to confirm the appointment and the time he would be there. He showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner. He is very knowledgeable and his work was very neat. If my husband and I ever need any future electrical service we would not hesitate to call Absolute Electric.
