Called and spoke with Bernard, telling him I had several electrical issues I wanted taken care of: bathroom outlets not working, bathroom fans were not vented to outside, house inspector had noted that main cables were rated 150 amps and main breaker was rated 200 amps, and also needed plug replaced on curio cabinet lights. He called and came over on Sunday morning to discuss all. Bathroom outlets were not working, because GFCI had not been reset. He did not recommend venting the bathroom fans, as there had been no mold issue and it's been that way for 20 years. He quoted the other two items for $140 total, and I told him it could be fit anywhere in his schedule. He called Monday evening and said he could fit it in the following day. Called me Tuesday at 11:45 and said he'd be there in 30 minutes. All went as planned.

He took the time to explain why the outlet was burned and explained that it was important not to leave a dryer on without someone in the house. He also showed us how the filter can get clogged with was build-up, which comes from the softener sheets that we often use with the dryer. The was tends to build up and clog the filter. This build-up is transparent and hard to see with the naked eye. He was expeditious, professional and very friendly.

Bernard returned our initial call promptly and came the next day to walk the job to prepare an estimate. We had the estimate that evening via email. We agreed to the fees and scheduled the work. He arrived on time and around the excercise class times. He was professional and courteous. He did exactly what needed to be done. We will definitely be using Absolute again at our commercial buildings as well at our residence in the future.

Bernard always called me right back, honored the same quote after I called back to setup an appointment. Bernard was here right when he said he would be and did the work quickly and efficiently. He even answered a few questions I had about some electrical matters. I will use them again if the need arises.

We ended up going with a different Angie's List electrician. While Absolute's price was in line with the other electrician, the other company was more prompt. It took a couple of days for Absolute to come out to do the estimate and then an additional 5 days to receive the quote by email. The electrician we hired, dropped by early in the morning before he started another job and he wrote up the quote right then and there. ($1500)

Excellent work. Telephoned prior to arrival as arranged .Arrived on time arrival and went straight to work. All work was completed with a minimum of fuss and very neatly executed. I will definitely use them again and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

My home has open ceilings, so there is no electricity at the point of installation; the way the fan had been installed (with an extension cord running along the beam to the electric outlet it was plugged into) was very dangerous according to Bernard; so he went out and purchased the proper cable to ensure the installation was done properly. I was very impressed with his knowledge, as was again experienced when I showed him the light outside and he noticed that the feeder cable coming in from the street transformer to my home had insulation missing on the cable and the wires were exposed; potentially a very serious situation if the wires had touched the metal pole it is attached to; he wrote out what the problem was so I could call Progress Energy to come out and repair the exposed cable wire. He worked very efficiently and neatly. He was very nice and easy to talk with and explained everything in layman's terms. An excellent experience and I would definitely use his services again.

Bernard arrived right at the time we scheduled and began the job. He was installing a new ceiling fan and unfortunately I was getting a bed delivered and set up and having baseboard installed all in the same small room at the same time. Not done on purpose it just worked out that way. Bernard is a consummate professional, realizing that the room was too small for 4 people to be working at the same time, he left the fan job and completed the other tasks which included checking two wall outlets that did not work. Bernard replaced one and found that the other did not need replacement it was controlled by a switch that we were unaware of. I have used his services several times, his work is great, he is neat, covered the bed up in the room he was installing the fan so no ceiling debris fell on it. I will definitely call Bernard again if I need any electrical work. The price was about $300.00; very reasonable for the amount of work performed.

They were fast, efficient and good all around. They were here two days and were clean and neat.

My husband had destroyed the outlet for the recessed light by being too aggressive when attempting to remove the old bulb. From the initial contact through completion of the job everything went fine. The appointment was scheduled to accommodate my work schedule. Work was done promptly when promised and to our total satisfaction. I appreciate having a service go so smoothly.

He was running late (only about 30 min) due to traffic but called to let us know he was on his way. Upon arriving he listened to what we wanted to accomplish concerning the outside receptacle and gave us several alternatives from which to choose. He explained the pros and cons of each type installation, showed us the parts that would be used in the job and quoted us a price we felt was very reasonable. He was able to complete the work that day. He was very pleasant, professional and considerate of our property. He had to make a cut in the wall to run the wire to the breaker box. When he was done he patched the wall and you could not see where the cut had been made. When the bill was presented he had included an unexpected discount for being a member of Angie's list.

They're a great company to work with. They are very prompt and always do what I ask them to do.

He was very helpful and explained what he was doing. The rate was reasonable for how long he was here. He was very pleasant and showed up on time.

Bernard was excellent. He explained things so my husband and I understood why he was doing what he was doing. He had to obtain some parts at a nearby hardware store and let us know exactly what he needed and why. We were extremely pleased with Bernard's professionalism and knowledge as this was not an easy job to wire this panel to our existing home panel.

We called for service on a Friday night, asking for a call on Monday morning. We received a call before 8:00 on Monday morning and we were able to get service that very morning. The problem was fixed by early afternoon. We could not have been happier.

We purchased the fan elsewhere and had them do the installation work. They came right out and installed it. Bernard Planas, the owner actually did the work. He had good phone response and set up an appointment with us right away to do the work. His prices were good & he charged us per hour. He also had to go up into the attic to install the fan. We later noticed a defect in the fan and had him come back out and install the new fan. He only charged us $35 to do this and we really appreciated that. I would use them again and I would recommend them to others.
