I've had Bernard from Absolute Electric come out twice for some work. He is very good on price, very professional, and very friendly. He goes out of his way to fit you into his schedule and does great work.

It was excellent. Bernard and Tommy cleaned behind themselves all day. Quickly found wires in wall after punching only 1 small hole!

They were very responsive, on time, knowledgeable, and precise in the quality of the work they performed. We were delighted with the final result.

He was very good. He showed up on time every time he said he would show up. He completed the job. The price was expensive but it was a big job and took a long time for him to complete.

He is a professional who is very good, very clean, and very conscientious. He shows up exactly on time and what knows what to do. He is the best workman that I have ever had.

Bernard was amazing. I called. He came within an hour or two at the time he stated. I was having problems with the outlet my pool pump was plugged into and he explained that the outlet would be fine if I didn't plug other appliances etc. into the same source at the same time as it would draw too much power. He explained that it probably wasn't in my best interest (cost and necessity) to rewire the shed that the pump was plugged into. I told him the need I had for a source to plug in sound systems and such and he said that would draw too much power from the shed outlet with the pump plugged in and it would probably trip the breaker even if the pump was unplugged. He told me I could do another outlet that would support a 10amp cord which could serve the purpose for the party and could be used for other reasons (like Christmas lights, etc.). My house was built in 1951 and as a result my electrical has always been a problem including Christmas lights always tripping the breakers etc. Anyway, he called around on the phone looking for the 10 amp cable. The cable itself was the major cost of this job. He went out and purchased it. Put the grounded outlet in. Set up the cable. Explained how the cord needed to be handled and demonstrated to me how to roll out the cord. The guy was totally amazing. I invited him and his family to the party! Alas...he had to work. I will tell everyone I know about him. The only reason I didn't give him an A on price is cause I don't really have a basis for comparison but given all he did and the length of time he was here he probably deserves an A.

Bernard had to come to my house twice. The first time I had purchased the wrong fixture. He offered to purchase a new fixture for me. Then he had to return to install it. He was wonderful and the installation was perfect. Since my entire kitchen will soon be redone, I will be sure to call him for the electric.

Bernard came out for an estimate and was able to complete the work the following weekend. He was prompt and polite. The work went smoothly and he cleaned up after-wards.

I was completely satisfied. Both work days, Bernard and his team showed up exactly when he said (8:30AM each day). He called the prior night to confirm. That is so important these days to be prompt. The work was top notch. They kept everything very clean. In fact, I think my floors were cleaner after they left. The estimate provided was accurate comparing to the final bill. I would highly recommend this company. I plan to keep them on my list for any future electrical projects.

Bernard called the night before and confirmed his arrival time. He arrived on time and set right to work without a break until the work was done. He cleaned up the work areas and took the original fans and 3 inch vent hose. He applied the Angie's List labor discount.

Absolute Electric responded to my weekend call when no one else would. A ceiling fan was stuck on high speed. He had never seen a fan like mine and it presented a bit of a challenge. He worked on it a long time and found the variable speed switch wasn't working. He was about to install a wall mounted remote control, but the part that fits into the fan was a tad too big. SO he patiently put everything back together like it was. He also replaced the existing wall switch that turns the fan on and off. He suggested getting a new fan since the one I have is 20 years old and the switch may no longer be in production. But if I didn't mind just the one speed, the fan itself was fine. He also made some recommendations on where to go and not to go for a new fan. Being Sunday and the length of time he was here I expected a big bill, but he charged me for only the first half hour. I would definitely recommend this company. They seem to place a high priority on serving their customer.

First time he removed motion sensors from outside fixtures and tapped them off, rather than put in new fixtures, and his advice has turned out to be right on the money. Second time he checked a front fixture and repaired it and changed bulbs. GREAT!

Bernard installed two ceiling fans in bedrooms on our home. He also checked out two other problems we were having at no extra charge. It added about an hour onto his visit.

I've had this electrician before (late last fall) & he did work in 3 bedrooms, running the ceiling fan wiring behind the walls. He and his helper did an excellent job, so when I needed this small job done on Monday, Feb 23, I was happy to employ him again and I wasn't disappointed.

Bernard was prompt in responding to my email inquiry and gave a good estimate range for a straight forward job which he's obviously done before. Once we agreed to a date and time do the job he called to confirm the night before and arrived in the morning exactly when promised. This was a bit of a challenging installation due to limited attic height with which he had to work. Bernard did the work in a timely manner and everything looks great and works as it should. There was a lot of blown in insulation and drywall dust involved but he covered everything with drop cloths. He cleaned up after himself and left no trace that the work was performed - except a perfectly installed exhaust fan.

I was very satisfied with the work.

When Bernard came out to give us an estimate, he made several good suggestions to help us solve our lighting problems. We had to order fixtures and once they arrived, we scheduled the installation within a week. Bernard and his assistant were on time, worked very efficiently and made every effort to clean up behind themselves. (I think they cleaned better than I do!) We are thrilled with our new lights and it is nice to finally see what I have in the pantry!

I was very pleased with the service. He said what he was going to do. He was very polite and I have no complaints at all! He did a great job.

I called and they were able to come out in three days. Fixed an outlet that was tripping a fault in the kitchen. They also installed 2 more outlets. They did a very good job, however a little expensive for time spent about 1 hour.

I saw his ad in the October Angie's List bulletin, called and scheduled his work for today, Oct. 31. He and his helper arrived a half hour early, which was fine with me. They were extremely efficient, considerate, careful and very neat. They made certain that any debris was immediately taken away. They completed the job in less than 3 hours.

Very well. Bernard showed up on time and completed the work in a reasonable time. Clean up was fine except for ground-in dirt on a tile floor, which I cleaned up easily. The inspector said that the work was done neatly and he was very comfortable in giving his approval.

Bernard's work was excellent and very professional. Bernard does superior work and it is the way it should be done. I think he may have thought I was initially just not experienced as this started with me trying to install a new ceiling fan on our patio as the old was decorating from age. This ordeal took my husband and I over two weeks. It was a very complicated Hunter Outdoor Fan with Light. I have installed many ceiling fans with lights. After speaking with Hunter Technical Support on 4 different occasions each with different answers, I finally got it installed, it wobbled too much as it was not secured to ceiling pancake plate with the correct screws per Bernard. Then I move inside to change the switch that controlled the fan to one that would control both fan speed and light dimmer. When I took the dual switch plate off and tried to remove the fan switch which was jammed in so tight, the box loosened from the stud. The insides of the box and the many wires which control a ceiling fan in our family room, a light in kitchen above the desk, the outdoor ceiling lights from family room, wall light in patio area, an electrical outlet below light switches, and heaven only knows what else, I knew how to replace the box, but was so angry as the sloppy wire mess, that I called Bernard for help. Having only owned this home since February, 2006, I have found the simplest things that I have installed for years are a nightmare. Once Bernard, started to review the box and various outlets that he had to replace, he agreed that the electrical configuration and workmanship was very poor. Which in 1998, it was to code by allowing several different rooms on one circuit unlike my home in Safety Harbor, FL built in 1985 where the wiring was as it should be per room. Bernard stated the Electrical Code has been changed and today is one room per circuit as it should be. Still, I have no idea how this home ever passed electrical or plumbing inspections with Hillsborough County FL. The simplest installations of light or fan replacements required an electrician. Bernard had an assistant with him who was very professional, very nice and assisted Bernard in wherever he needed assistance. I apologize that I can't recall his name, but my thanks to him also. A huge thanks to Bernard of Absolute Electric for all his help both on the phone the first time I called him and when he came to the house.

I have hired Bernard to do electrical work several times. He is professional, helpful, and fair. He's also a really nice guy.
