Bernard and his associate arrived when they said they would. They were very professional while here, cleaned up afterwards and completed the project within the time they said they would. They also discovered and fixed a potentially serious problem in our meter box, which had been most likely caused by verizon's technician. They had completely disconnected our main ground wire. Bernard fixed it at no additional costs. I would highly recommend his services and will use him again if the need arises.

He has done work previously for my parents (three times) and everytime it has been a wonderful experience. Imagine saying that about a home repair! He is willing and able to take the time to explain everything clearly. He is very good with people whether they be young or old. He takes a conservative approach to his work: if it ain't broke, don't fix it. This is perfect for people on fixed incomes who live in an aging house. I would (and do) recommend him without reservation. This guy goes the extra mile. After replacing two breakers last week in the outside circuit breaker box, he took the time to paint the inside of the box, which was rusty. Not only did he address the problems that triggered the service call but he also provided useful info like: there is nothing wrong with the conductor connecting the inside and outside box and there is nothing wrong with the plug wiring on several appliances. He is very methodical, careful, organized, and personable. The perfect electrician in my opinion.

Bernard, owner of the company was very intuitive. He was very patient and helpful. He showed me things in my fuse box. I was very impressed, I would use them again in a minute. I couldn't recommend him more highly, he is not only a good electrician but he is a good person. He was very careful to explain things to me, because he felt I had a fire hazard.

Bernard was very responsive, prompt, and professional. He did a great job on all of the work and explained to me how the switches, etc., worked. He came back when I needed to have an additional problem fixed. I had a tight time schedule and he was very responsive to that. I highly recommend his company!

Called Bernard about a week before and described what I wanted done, he made a few suggestions and we decided on the project specifics. He came when he said he would, called prior, and did a great job and cleaned up after himself. excellent job!

Simply excellent! Bernard was very professional. He communicated well. He was very receptive to all my questions and concerns and took the time to clearly cover all of them. He separated my job into itemized sections so I could select which were my highest priority so I could customized my overall plan to what I felt I could afford. He encouraged and addressed all my questions before, during and after the service. The service took 2 1/2 days and he thoroughly cleaned up after each day. The service took place during 2 days of torrential downpours and he did not use this as an excuse to delay the work, he simply worked through it without tracking grime through our home. The service took longer than he had planned but it did not change the price quoted which included a discount for being an Angies List member. His price was 50% lower than an estimate received from another electrician 5 years ago! It was actually a pleasure to work with someone who genuinely seemed to want to satisfy his customer. Something I thought was an era gone by. I honestly feel anyone considering electrical work would be making a mistake not checking with this company before making their decision.

We had problems at two different locations (Office and Home, about 2 miles appart); Bernard was punctual and extreemly professional. He did not have the correct part in his truck to repair the ceiling light at the office and offered to return, he also gave me the opportunity to fix it myself, is I so desired. Then he drove to the house and investigated a problem with the GFI outles, and was able to replace several outlets and add new ones as requested. From start to finish he was proffessional and courteous.

He was a nice fellow. He was very neat, clean, and arrived when he said he would. He gave me some useful information about a portable heater I have, which I appreciated. I would definitely use him again in the future.

Bernard is wonderful. We found him through Angie's List and he's the only electrician we've used since then. I've always been paranoid about house fires but I trust Bernard. He is very knowledgeable, conscientious and his work is perfect. When he installs fixtures they are always centered perfectly. TO TOP IT OFF, Bernard discovered the house was receiving 135 volts on both phases coming to the house from the power company. (Should be 120 volts each.) He even went next door to the neighbors to check her house and explained this could shorten the life of all our appliances because they were getting too much power. I called the power company and they responded immediately. They confirmed what Bernard told us and worked for at least 3 hours to fix their end. If we hadn't called Bernard we would have never known this was happening. We're so grateful he brought this to our attention.

I?ve had Bernard come before and was happy, so I had him come and do this additional work. He came on time and kept me abreast of the issues he encountered as he went along. (For example, the old fan was not properly installed and required some additional wiring work.) He and his helper were neat, putting down drop cloths under their work areas and cleaning up when they were done. I was just as happy with his work this time as with the work that he has previously done for us.

I contacted this provider with the Angie's list email tool, and he responded within a day of inquiry. On the service date, Bernard provided me with an estimate on site, and worked efficiently and professionally through my electrical issues. Very happy with the service!

Called Bernard, explained the situation He quickly arranged an appointment with me around my schedule for the next day. He was on time, actually a little early, and waited for me. He checked out the problem, identified and solved it. He even made a trip to Lowe's to get the part he needed as this problem was so rare that he didn't have the part in his truck. He was here approximately 2 hours including the trip to Lowe's. His interaction with me was friendly and very professional. This is the second time I've used his services and although it was 2 years ago, he still had all the information and remembered me.

I've used them before and it went well. I would highly recommend him. He was on time and fair with his prices. He also resolved an issue that we were having for free.

I called up around 8:30 in the morning, and he said he would be at the house by 11:30. He came on time and after I explained the symptoms, he was able to track down the problem and found the wire causing the trouble. Since none of the outlets in the area were out, he said he could take additional time and $$ to track it down, or he could cap it off and if I found the the errant outlet at a later time, he could come back. I chose the latter, so he put everything back together; we checked the lights and outlets for proper functioning one more time, and he left. The bill was reasonable for the time he spent, and I am happy with the experience. I WILL call him back if I have any additional electrical problems.

I called on a Monday and was able to get an appointment for first thing on Wednesday morning. Bernard came on time and I explained to him what I wanted done. Replacing the two old can lights and the outlet were straight forward, but the other jobs were more problematic - as can be expected on an older home. Bernard was able to find out what one of our family room switches was intended to do and got it going again. He thought that the other one was most likely intended to control an electrical outlet behind our bookcases, and explained what he would need to do to pinpoint which outlet and approximately how long it would take. We decided just to leave it the way it was, because having a switch for an outlet behind a large bookcase seemed pointless. While he was in the box, he found evidence of a problem with the outlet in the same box and brought it to our attention. We decided to have it fixed while he was in there. We wanted to have two 3-way switches installed in the bathroom and thought the wiring was in place for both. He was able to complete one, but was unable to trace the other circuit because of the number of junction boxes over the bathroom and the limited space under the sloping roof. He told us it would be much cheaper and easier to reschedule and run a new wire (a two person job) than to try and trace the existing wiring for this circuit. We decided to defer the second 3-way switch and combine it with some additional work that we want done at a later date. At each step of the 4 ? hour job, he kept me apprised of what he was doing and brought the unexpected to my attention for a decision before proceeding. Since he was unable to complete what I wanted done, he gave me a 1 ? hour discount on the bill, which I totally wasn?t expecting and which I thought was very nice.

they came to see the problem with my outlet for the pool pump one day then came back a few days later and did the work.i did not have to take any time off from work and he also fixed the lock on my back door. this company does great work ,i will always use them for my electrical problems

OUTSTANDING service provided by this organization. Two personnel from this contractor were EXTREMELY professional, did EXCELLENT quality of work, on time, and completed all work as described in quote. I can not over-emphasize what a pleasure it was to deal with this electrical company and the peace of mind after they completed the described work (we were very concerned about the age of the electrical panel and potential safety risks). I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this contractor to ANYONE requiring GOOD quality work at a reasonable price. Again, my appreication to Absolute Electric of Tampa Bay for a job well done!!!

The individual is competent. He does excellent work. He has honesty, integrity, and he strives for excellence. I would highly recommend this individual to family, friends, etc.

Our rental property is an older house, so we're always wary about problems being more than they appear. Thankfully, Bernard was able to quickly identify a minor problem and had it repaired in no time. We have used Absolute Electric before and will do so for every electrical project/repair that we have. He is prompt, courteous and easy to work with. Since I am not on-site, I asked for a call one hour in advance so that I could drive over to meet him, and he was happy to do so. One thing that impressed me so much was how he interacted with our tenants. Our tenants have a three-year-old boy who was understandably very curious about their work. Bernard and his assistant were very friendly, but Bernard made sure that the boy couldn't see too much. "We don't want him to think it's okay to try this" is what he said. I appreciate his concern, and I don't think many other electricians would have been thinking about that.

Whenever we have a problem I call him, he will call right back and comes right out. He can fix anything and his prices are reasonable. He's our favorite.
