Great company, great service, very reasonable prices. Would absolutely hire them again and likely will for additional work. Really a perfect contractor. Had four additional outlets installed in tough places to get to and they did a great job making things work. Very efficient.

Owner arrived right on time. Went right to work and completed the job in about a half hour. Owner was very pleasant and efficient. He left the work area neat and clean. I would definitely recommend his company to friends and family. I will hire his company again in the future.

They were terrific, fun to be around, considerate, cleaned up after themselves every day, and thorough. Bernard enjoys problem-solving and doesn't get flustered. We would highly recommend Absolute. The only reason why we're not ranking the price -- we paid over $15,000 -- is because we didn't get any other estimates. We don't know if this was a competitive price or not.

Showed up on time. Asked for a tour or the area he was to install the equipment. Installed it and tested it and it works. All in 2hours. nice.

I called Bernard to arrange for him to install a ceiling light and move an electrical switch from one location to another on the same wall. We scheduled the appointment for six days later. One the day of the appointment Bernard arrived exactly at the scheduled time. He installed the light and moved the switch and much to my surprise and delight, patched the drywall in the spot where the switch had originally been placed. We have used Bernard in the past and he will continue to be our electrician because he goes above and beyond, is reasonably priced and is talented. He is also very good with our pets and careful to be sure they do not escape when he enters and leaves the house.

Well I bought an old inexpensive fixer-upper, knowing that there were multiple safety hazards & other issues which even the qualified inspector couldn't really diagnose. Got numerous estimates (and wildly varying prices - up to tens of thousands of dollars!!) Bernard was the only one who was able to figure out that a "mystery" sub-panel in the main service box belonged to the range. He gave me some good suggestions to improve the functionality of my existing set-up without having to jackhammer through concrete walls & do a complete house re-wire (if I had the money for that kind of upgrade, I'd just buy a newer more expensive house.) He only gave me a ballpark verbal estimate, but I felt more confident with his expertise compared to the others that came out. So I emailed him a list of the items we discussed (so there would be no misunderstanding) & asked him to get me into his schedule. He came out with a helper, I provided most of the actual fixtures, & they did the work. Everything was great! I did ask him to come back, because I found one exterior light could not be turned off, and the 2 switches by the front door did not operate anything that I could find. Mind you this is not Bernard's fault - the previous owners through the years had rigged up all kinds of weird stuff. Anyway he came back out and took care of it at no additional cost, and I will definitely use him again.

Originally I wanted the fan replaced and 3 can lights instead of the track light. Bernard came by to give me an estimate and explained the cans would not be possible because our roof is so low at that spot there would not be enough room in the attic. He also pointed out that because of the placement of our rafters he may not be able to center each can exactly where I wanted. He suggested pendant lights instead. He also advised me not to install my crown molding until after the pendants were hung because of the way the wiring needed to be done. I was reluctant to use pendants because I thought they would interfere with opening the window shutters. Bernard told me they can be hung at various lengths and I was able to find fixtures and special 6" rods so the shutters clear the bottom of the lights. He was right in every case. The pendants were a great suggestion and he saved me from having brand new molding cut & patched. And Bernard hung the pendants in the center of each shutter just as I wanted. Bernard has always been very conscientious about the appearance of his work. He wants you to be happy but he also knows all the electrical codes and is not going to do anything unsafe to your house. He is very personable, hard-working, reasonable and honest. Highly recommend.

I wouldn't even be writing this except for the fact that Absolute Electric tried to shift the blame on me. I called the other day to get an estimate for some electrical work. Bernard said he would have someone call me later that day to set something up. I got a call later that day and after some back and forth talking, had scheduled the estimate for Wednesday at 9 a. m. They would call first if they couldn't make the appointment. There was no call and no one showed up. I called the office number at 10 a. m. and got a voicemail. I left a message saying that I didn't appreciate the fact that no one called or showed as promised. Two hours later, I get a call from Bernard that there was a miscommunication and that he was sorry. He said that since I didn't call in the morning to confirm, it was my fault. That's a new twist. You tell a company that 9 a.m. is fine and they will call you before they come out and now I'm told that I should have called them again to confirm???

Went the extra mile (literally) and was friendly and professional all the way.

They followed my requests and performed an excellent installation. They were very courteous and cleaned up afterwards. My wife and I are very satisfied.

Bernard is great. He came out and right away saw the problem with the old wiring done by a handyman. He made suggestions for all the work we wanted done and gave an estimate. He had to spend some time moving things in the garage to get to outlets and switches but was very pleasant about it. He kept us updated at every stage what he was doing and why. When he was finished, the price was exactly what he had told us upfront. No surprises. We will definitely use Bernard for all our electrical needs in the future-no more handyman work for us.

The ceiling fan/light was not working. My tenant thought it was the battery of the remote, he changed it but the fan/light was still not working and he obviously wanted to have it serviced "immediately" because his parents were going to visit and he wanted to have light in the living room. Bernard tried to help me right away, he placed some calls to his associates and regorganized his job and came to see the fan that very afternoon. I rated the price paid A but I honestly cannot comment on the price paid because I don't have any other estimate to compare it with, but considering that he came out the very same day although I was not a customer and fixed my problem, I think that the price paid was about right.

Very professional service call. He called the week before to confirm the date and time, and arrived on time. The electrician and his assistance were polite, pleasant and efficient. They were careful to cover areas that debri would fall on, and cleaned up after themselves. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Benard called the day before to confirm the appointment. On the service day, he arrived right on time. The work was completed efficiently, the area cleaned up, and I was quite satisfied with the price.

I would recommend this contractor to anyone. He was excellent.

The price was worth the quality of work. You do not often meet a contractor who is polite, trustworthy and on time. He was really dependable, and had a good sense of humor! My mother and I tallked way too much and he just smiled and joked along! The work was excellent. I would definitely use him again.

Bernard was absolutely (of course) wonderful and answered all our questions, plus suggested materials to purchase to ensure safety. Any time I need or recommend an electrician, this is always the company I call - which has been often. The light is up, works great, and we didn't burn her house down.

Have used this service once prior and had an excellent experience. Once again the price quoted was dead on the mark and the work was finished in a timely manner without incident.

Dealing with Bernard was a pleasure from the first call, to the bidding process and work completion. Everything went great! He showed up when promised and completed the job as promised and used high quality equipment. It's hard to say a lot about a new breaker box, it's not exactly a lovely addition to the house or anything. But I can say that Bernard's pricing is competitive and the service is great too! I am considering using him on another project in the near future.

I came home from out of town Sunday night to find that my electricity was out from a blown transformer. The power came back on, but parts of the house were still out, including my kitchen, laundry and bathrooms. First thing Monday morning, I called Absolute Electric and told them what happened, and that I hoped for prompt service because my refrigerator and freezer were full of food. They came within two hours and promptly fixed the problem.

Called on Absolute Electric of Tampa Bay on Wednesday and was given an appointment for Friday morning. Electrician arrived on time and looked at the fixtures to be repaired, then left to get the needed parts. He returned and fixed all three lights. The lights were repaired and working within an hour. I was very pleased with the process and with the professionalism of the electrician, and will definitely call on him for any future electrical needs.

Bernard is professional, usually calls back in 24 hr, the workers he sent did not finish the job, I needed 14 units changed, I do have a hip roof, and they were aware of it beforehand ( gets tight at the edges) . Workers claimed could not get to 3 of the recessed light units, however the handyman I got later , had no problem reaching those units. Also Bernard recommended a vapor seal trim for the bathroom, but did not bring it.

Score another for Bernard and his crew. We needed some old wiring replaced in a 1958 house -- didn't have to rewire the entire house, but close to half. He came out and provided a detailed estimate of work required to meet our needs, offered a few well-considered suggestions based on his experience, and set a date for the work. The night before Bernard confirmed the appointment, and his crew showed up precisely on time the next morning and got to work. Other than a sandwich grabbed on the move, I don't think they took a break the entire time...worked about six hours straight through. Bernard took the time to point out what they were doing and why, so we have complete confidence in the work. As icing on the cake, the work came in under estimate. This is the third or fourth time we've had Absolute Electric do work for us...no point in calling anyone else.

This is the fourth time I have used Bernard and Absolute. You can't get a better electrician. I originally signed up for Angies List on the 4th of July 2007 in a panic for an electrician. I read the reviews on Bernard and called him. Have used him for several things and he is the best. Just thought I would give him another great review. A++

We had purchased a foreclosure home which had some outlets that didn't work, some with broken boxes and the landscape lighting didn't work. In addition, two ceiling fans which had been remote controlled, but the remotes were missing. I called for service at 7 p.m. expecting to leave a message and get a call back the next day, only to be surprised by a call back within 30 minutes. The electrician came out two days later and was able to get the two fans working by installing a wall control for speed and also did so for a 3rd fan I had that had a light kit. Now I have a separate switch to control the light and fan. He replaced 3 faulty GFI's and the loose switch boxes and installed a cover on my exterior outlet. Now our beautiful landscape lighting is working also. I had no idea what to expect in terms of cost, but thought the price was very fair.
