VELLONE'S COMPLETE LANDSCAPE INC

My community uses a different landscaping company for lawn mowing and general trimming. However, when I want some good work done that takes skill and a good eye, I call Carlos or Nathan. This project entailed annual trimmings of our Cassia and Jatropia trees which is a repeat of last year's service. They look so terrible right now but will be beautiful and well shaped shortly when the new growth comes in. We also had fronds moved from our three sabal palms. Carlos threw in trimming the robellini palms at no charge. All of the palms look great and will be ready for storm season. We also had some spraying for pest control done. The work was done quickly and professionally when we asked. All of the debris was hauled away. None of the foliage under the trees were disturbed.

The owner, Carlo, seemed very nice and extremely knowledgeable about trees but when it came to repair our irrigation system he was out of his element, our irrigation system was completely destroyed after having a new concrete driveway put in. Carlo came by with two other guys repaired 3- 4 breaks in the lines tried to get the pump working and after a whole day of work he had no idea what to do next to fix it, nothing was working, and charged me $900 over $100 an hour which is extremely high. Very disappointed. He didn't communicate at all what the cost would be to diagnose my system and repeatedly told my husband and I that he couldn't give us a price because he didn't know how long it would take him to fix the problem. I completely blame myself for being naive and allowing someone to work on my home without getting a price first. I told Carlo that his price was too high for me and he felt insulted and got rude with me and that was the end of our business together. Would not recommend to anyone.
