I never received the design plans for my yard. No one will refund my money for services not received. Angie's List will not refund it because they said we "started the process" even though I never received what I paid for.

After purchasing the big deal, Mike the owner, contacted me immediately and we set up a day and time to meet. He was very accommodating with my crazy schedule, and said he would call 1/2 hour before the appt. to let me know he was on the way. Before our appt., I learned from my HOA, that paperwork needed to be filled out for any additions/changes to my landscaping. Afterwards, it could take up to 3 months to have this approved/denied. I am fairly new to this development, and had no idea this was the case. It was offered to me at the HOA office, that the landscaping manager, Eric, would come by and address my concerns with my landscaping which would require no approvals, and could be completed immediately. In the meantime, I contacted Mike from Ringler Landscaping, and he was very helpful, and extremely understanding with my situation. Unfortunately, no work was performed, but not due to anything on the part of Ringler Landscaping. I would definitely recommend him in the future.

Mr. Ringler and his associates were extremely professional. They gave me many different options for what my parents property could look like and what we could do. They were very patient with me, and allowed me to look through their different graphic designs (they did more than 3 for each area!) and choose which plants I liked, what layouts I liked, which retaining walls and ground cover I preferred, and then put it all together to make one final graphic design. The design looked like an actual photograph of the finished product of our home, and the installation looked almost exactly the same when finished. I could not have been more pleased with the work that was done. A week or so after the job was done, I noticed a sprinkler pipe had accidentally been broken, and they promptly came out and fixed it free of charge. They also offered me a three week guarantee on all of the plants installed, in which they promised to replace any plants that died, explaining that sometimes plants die of shock after being planted in a new environment, and they honored that when a couple of bushes died. I have recommended Ringler Landscape Design to all of my friends, family, and neighbors, and I definitely recommend everyone on Angie's List to consider getting a graphic design and consultation with them if they're considering having their homes landscaping redone. My parents were thrilled with their new landscaping when they arrived home from their vacation. Mr. Ringler had given me a portfolio showing a before picture, a picture of the final graphic design, and an after picture, which I showed my parents. They were absolutely thrilled and extremely impressed. Mr. Ringler has even come out since to show us how to take care of certain plants in particular, and he has promised to come for a small fee and fertilize the plants every three months with a species specific fertilizer for all of our plants. It was nice to finally find a professional gardener, and not just some landscaping maintenance company that chops everything up and leaves. This was worth every penny and we will be using Ringler Landscape Design for all of our future homes.

I have since spoken with Michael and have realized that this was all a miscommunication. We met to discuss the project and he was very accommodating and professional. He tried very hard to makke amends for the problem I experienced. His scheduling was booked too far out and then he never followed up with me to confirm scheduling

My experience was good.? We had made an appointment but there was some miss communication so we missed some of the appointments.? We plan on working with the plans he gave us. He gave me different options to choose from. Later (12/1/15): I gave him a deposit of $6700, and the whole thing has just been a headache. He came out the first time and actually did the work, then, he didn't plan the plants well, and some of them died due to not being close enough to my sprinklers. Some of the plants he planted didn?t hold up, so I've been trying to get him to come out and fix it. So far that hasn't been done.

put alot of pressure on him becuase it was a surpirse for my wife and had to be started after she left the house in the a.m. and before she got home from work. they took it on as a challenge and while hard work made it fun. and it looked great. proves you can have neat looking stuff w/o having to spend a fortune.

I am sending this to you because I want to re-evaluate my original comment on their performance. I have spoken with Michael Ringer and have decided that my evaluation was based on mis-communication. The ratings above reflects the change of my evaluation and will replace my original comments.. I apologize for creating havoc but realized I was not fair in giving a negative evaluation. Please replace the above with the current evaluationl. However, I still want to pursue my original request of a refund of $49.00 originally sent to you. What is the procedure of this request?? Michael was so awesome! He sent me pictures from the nursery so there was no confusion about what I was getting. He then delivered and installed the plants! I was so happy to have it done so quickly and just like I wanted. I was busy working so I could not be there but we communicated via photos and text. i have been wanting to do this for six months and when I met him through a mutual friend who was so happy with his work I was thrilled! He had it done by the weekend!

Some of Michael's best qualities, things we appreciated, were he is such a gentlemen, he has educated himself in the field, he does not push his ideas on you but listens to what you want. He checked in regularly to make sure the work was done well.

It went wonderful. Michael was on time, professional, fair with pricing, did the job quickly and cleaned up beautifully as well. We have more work to be done and will definitely be using them in the future.

I moved into a condo on very short notice and the owner did not have the paint redone after the previous renter. But I wanted it to look new and fresh. Also the balcony was a pretty area with lots of potential but very plain and boring/uninviting and really needed some "oomph" and life added to it. So I called Mr. Ringler with Ringler Landscape Design to come take a look at it. He was very professional and knowledgeable and he took my ideas and went to work. He was able to quickly find the exact paint shades of all the rooms I wanted redone. For my balcony area we discussed my ideas and what I wanted (orchids, pretty bright colors, flowers, plants, plenty of color and green, etc) and added his own touches and ideas. He told me about a certain type of plant we could incorporate (which I had never heard of) that would look beautiful on my balcony and would grow along the railing, producing brightly colored flowers along the vines. He then used a graphic design program to show me what my balcony would look like after the landscaping was done. It almost looked like the real thing! Needless to say I was excited for my new place to be beautified. Mr. Ringler was very hardworking and resourceful. He was meticulous and took pride in his work and made sure the job was done to my liking. The final product looks great. I am very pleased and would definitely use Ringler Landscape Design in the future and recommend him to my friends and family.

The provider had a computer program where we were able to pick out plants and add them to pictures that were taken to get an idea of what it would look like. This was important since my wife has trouble visioning things. We agreed on everything & had to make some changes along the way which were accommodated. He had trouble getting the hibiscus that we agreed upon so he went to a bunch of different nurseries until he found something we agreed on. Installation went well, the final product looked almost exactly like the pictures we saw so we were happy. That was the good, now he did tell us he would clean up the boot stains that he left behind on our walk way and he never did, another thing that was off was the mulch color. Now, I admit that I didn't notice it till after he had left so in the end it didn't make a huge difference but we agreed on brown mulch and he laid down red mulch. Overall though, we are happy with the work, he was professional and he delivered on the vision that we agreed to. I would use this provider again in the future.
