Description of Work: I contacted the provider in am after ac stopped in the night... Perception is everything and I was surprised... This company installed my unit many years ago and always was amazing during service and tuneups... even had the techs sign a sticker on inside unit name and date of service...... when I called she could not find me in the system then said you know our rates right???( well no that is why I am calling I do not know what is wrong....$89 first half hour the $89 per hour besides parts and addtl labor. I said I was an Angies list member as well and that did not seem to matter made the appt.. Called around and got some other great providers and rates.. finally called a place that due to Angies list and an asthmatic child would move me up on the list gave me a diagnostic rate quote which is waived when they do the work...I tried to stay loyal to a company that I had dealt with but the perception, tone, and attitude of Nyma was not one I felt I could deal with... When I called back to cancel she said ok!! ( not sorry or why did yo change your mind) obviously the $8.50 an hour is all she needs to do... minimal....

Description of Work: U S Heat and AC has been my primary AC/heat pump service provider for the last several years. They were dispatched through my Home Warranty Company at my request. Very dependable and very professional. They have provided service work ranging from under $100 to over $2500 for a unit replacement.

Ā + -1 moreThey were terrible. They sent out 3 techs. The first one unstopped the shower and made an attempt to stop the leak but didn't. The second tech came out and did nothing and left. The third ''leak'' tech came out and left after about 5 minutes and did nothing except to say the leaking was coming from a handheld shower massage that was brand new. He said the leak was coming from the hose on the shower massage. He was rude, offensive, etc. In all fairness, the first 2 servicemen were nice & polite. I just don't think they were trained to take care of plumbing.
Description of Work: They came to untop the shower and fix leaky faucets in the shower.

Ā + -1 moreWhen we first had the work done, I was a bit concerned since the techs could be heard arguing about how to set up the attic unit. They had to come back a second day for a job that was supposed to take a few hours. After they left we learned that the system was not installed properly, and that wires were left exposed in the attic and vents were not secured causing costly leaks. Another company had to come out and fix mistakes caused by this company.
Description of Work: Had an air handler inside unit replaced.

Ā + -1 moreWe are all extremely pleased with US Heating and Air's honesty, integrity, promptness, professionalism and fair pricing. Billy Bates demonstrates sincere concern for his customers when they are experiencing problems with their A/C unit. He is honest in his business practices and does not believe in recommending unnecessary repairs.
Description of Work: US Heating and Air was the service company that maintained my HVAC unit at the office. Then I tried them on my home unit. They have been maintaining my home unit and my parent's and my in-law's for several years now. They are well versed on all kinds of A/C units including water-cooled systems. I'm planning a home expansion project soon and look forward to trying US Heating and Air's Plumbing and Electrical services.

Ā + -1 moreTHEY WERE VERY GOOD. THEY DO THE JOB THE WAY THEY SAY THEY WILL, AND THEY DO IT AT A REASONABLE PRICE. THAT'S THE REASON I STILL USE THEM. IT HAS NEVER BEEN THE SAME PERSON TWICE, BUT THEY ALWAYS SEEM TO BE PROFESSIONAL. THEY TALK TO YOU LIKE A REAL PERSON. THEY COME IN AND DO WHAT THEY NEED TO DO. THEY WERE VERY METICULOUS AND CLEAN. I NEVER KNOW THAT THEY WERE THERE.
Description of Work: THEY CHECK THE SYSTEM AND MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS CLEAN. THEY CHECK FOR THE RIGHT PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE GRADIENT AND ADD FREON AS NEEDED ONCE A YEAR.

Description of Work: THEY WERE REPLACING A THERMOSTAT AND CHECKING OUT THE AIR CONDITIONER.
