Description of Work: contacted them in November 2012 talked with someone, who said they would be in touch to schedule the work. In December I contacted them again and talked with a gentlemen who said he knew nothing of the previous call and said they were busy and with the holidays, were backed up, he said do not worry about the expiration date they would take care of me. Asked questions of what was needed in our home. Said they would get back with me in Jan or Feb to do the work. I called and e-mailed them March 1st and have never heard from them.

Description of Work: I purchased 3 coupons for "$199.00 for 6 man hours of general remodeling/contracting services" from Superior Craftsman, Inc. They were to expire on 12/19. I began calling Tony Monto early in November, but he was never in or available for at least 4 weeks running and he never returned my calls. Finally I reached him and explained that I have a remodel of the master bedroom and bathroom of my home. Finally Tony and I connected and he sent an estimator to my home on Friday, December 7th. His name was Tom. We went through the rooms and Tom said he would work up plans and a total for the work in the whole project and get back to me "in a few days." That's the last I've heard from them. I see them offering other big deals, but they are obviously overselling their crews' time. I paid 597.00 on June 21, 2012 on my debit card - same as cash. I've received nothing in return. Please arrange for a refund of $597.00 for no service performed

Description of Work: I attempted to contact the service provider a few times via E-Mail to no avail, so at that point I called the service provider, spoke with them a few times about getting some work done, had a couple scheduling conflicts. No worries. Contacted the provider again in early December due to the coupon nearing it's deadline. Provider told me up front that they were inundated with work and asked if I could wait until after the new year and they'd be happy to honor the coupon still. I said no problem. Now it's the middle of April and I haven't heard back. I don't really have anything to say about the provider positive or negative. They were very friendly on the phone, and I actually appreciate that they told me they were too busy to do the job in December, it shows me they didn't want to take forever through my job, or slow down their other customers' jobs down and I think that is a very good reflection of how the business operates. I would have expected them to respond to emails considering it was 2012, and even more than that, they're using a web-based service to market the product, it stands to reason a customer may use the same device to contact them...but other than that I have no complaints about the company.

Description of Work: Tom was prompt in returning my call and finding a date to meet at the house. He showed up on time and was pleasant. They would likely be good for replacing cabinets/counters but I needed someone who would give me ideas as to a different layout of my kitchen and maybe even moving the sink and ideas of where to put an island, perhaps even moving a wall to expand the kitchen. Tom said this was not their expertise and I would benefit from a designer first and then he could come back and help me pick out cabinets, etc after the layout was established.

Description of Work: Excellent scope of work was provided. Service Tech was creative and provided us with detailed plan. The only problem is that he was way over our budget, so we didn't engage his services.

Description of Work: They delivered the wrong counter tops. Said they would return the next day at 10: AM and didnt show up until 4:00 pm. Didn't call and say rhey would be late.

Description of Work: I responded to a $1500 offer that included 40 sq. feet of granite kitchen counters, a new stainless steel sink and construction. During the estimation visit I was told that my granite area exceeded the offer. Which was true. I had the option of backing out or paying the difference. I agreed to the new estimate. The work was completed in a timely manner, the quality of the material and workmanship excellent, which also included plumbing that coincided with the project completion.

Description of Work: I called and asked about thier special and they responed quickly and explained all the details. Tom came right out to the house and took all measurements. Also explaning the details of services. I went to pick out granite. I was not happy with that experience, but not this companies fault. Anyway, it took a few days for the actual granite fabricator to show up, probably due to the Christmas holidays. When they did show up,they were very nice and professional. They did a very good job on the counter tops and I was pleased! I would use this company again in the future!

Description of Work: Fan install, back splash work in kitchen

Description of Work: Superior Kitchens came out and gave us a quote on new kitchen cabinets and granite countertops. They were very helpful giving suggestions on how to do the cabinets. They were very friendly, professional and punctual coming out several times and giving us several quotes. They worked with us and it was a very hard decision between them and the people we ended up picking. I know if we picked them, they would have done a super job, too. When I called and told them we went with another company, they were very gracious and wished us well and hoped we would be very happy with our new kitchen. Very nice people. It was a very difficult decision not to go with them.

Description of Work: Asked Superior to come out and give an estimate on a bathroom repair and a 2nd estimate on a bathroom remodel (for a second bathroom). Tony came out on Fri 6/29 and looked at both bathrooms, gave us great ideas/suggestions and promised an estimate via email. After 10 days of not hearing anything I called and spoke with Kevin who took my information and said he would look into it and get back to me. Needless to say I have not heard anything. If they did not want to take the job I would have at least liked an email so I could start looking for another contractor.

Description of Work: I bought a deal for 6 hours of work from Superior Craftsman for $199.00 in part because one of the services listed is roof work. It turns out that Superior Craftsmen contracts out to Mid-Florida roofing. First, I was unable to get an answer from Tony at Superior Craftsman whether the $199 would cover the roof work. However, my husband alscertained from the Roof guy (Bill Roo) (sp?) that it would. Bil said he would come out on a certain day and that he would call to confirm. He didn't call, and my husband had to track him down on the phone, at which point Bill said he was booked up for a month. I am extremely disappointed with this deal and everyone involved, and at this point I would like my money back. I believe that Superior Craftsman and Angie's List have advertized services in a misleading way. I will certainly never use Mid-Floria Roofing either.
