A contract was entered into, with a 50% down payment. After many calls over a three month period, Mr. Sanborn admitted that he never started any work on the job and was not going to return the deposit. I took the matter to small claims court where Mr. S was ordered to return the deposit with interest and court costs. He has ignored the judges order. In my opinion Mr. Sanborn is one of these scam artists that one hears so often about nowadays, I URGE EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOKED OPERATOR.

Contract was signed in 11/05 and work was to be completed by 2/06 and a deposit of 50% was given at this time. Over this time period I heard every excuse in the book. Installation started in 7/06 and was suppose to take 2 days to install which turned out to be over 6 days (which I had to take off from work) due to arriving late and incompetence. They said they would arrive at 9:00 showed up at 11:00 and left by 3:00 and they don't work on Fridays. Workmanship is poor (ex. nail holes remain, seams don't match and are uneven)which is even more evident since the cabinet doors are now coming apart. I called for warranty service and they want me to remove the door and bring it to them. I was told they are ''too busy slapping other jobs together just to make payroll'' and I live too far. I could have dealt with all the above if the cabinet turned out well, but it is far from furniture quality so do your self a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
