I have officially ended my service with Massey Services after a deeply disappointing experience. In 2020, I had them install Sentricon bait stations at my home. Since then, they've conducted annual "inspections," but not once have I seen evidence that each bait station was properly opened and examined as required. In fact, I have photographic evidence proving that many of the bait stations were never opened during these visits. During the most recent visit in 2025, I received a report stating that "all stations were checked and everything looks great." However, according to the report, the technician was on-site for only 17 minutes and supposedly inspected all 36 stations. That claim is simply not credible. Six of those stations are located in our atrium, which requires us to be home to provide access—a fact I’ve communicated to Massey multiple times over the past five years. Despite this, no one from Massey has ever contacted us to coordinate access for inspection or responded to our requests. After the technician left, I personally inspected the bait stations and found clear signs of termite activity. Several bait devices were visibly one-third depleted, which, according to Corteva (the manufacturer of Sentricon), means they should have been replaced. This did not happen. When I called the Longwood office and voiced my concerns to the general manager, I was shocked by his response. He told me, “You’re not paying us to check bait stations; you’re paying us for insurance. If you ever get termite damage, we’ll cover the cost of repairs.” That logic is baffling. Shouldn’t the goal be to prevent termite damage in the first place by properly maintaining the system? After five years of payments and subpar service, I’ve decided to switch to a different provider for Sentricon services—one that takes inspections seriously. I cannot in good conscience recommend Massey Services to others.

I strongly advise against using Massey Lawn Care. I canceled my service on March 3rd after speaking with multiple customer service representatives, and yet I was still charged for a service dated March 31st. This is not only unacceptable—it's borderline fraudulent. It’s clear this company participates in the illegal practice of continuing service and billing after cancellation, despite verbal confirmations. Their customer service is horrific, unhelpful, and dismissive. I will be reporting this office to the Better Business Bureau and will pursue legal action if necessary. There are far better, more affordable lawn care services out there. If you're in Seminole County, I highly recommend EPLS. They've revived our grass in under two weeks and are even saving our palm trees—something Massey failed to do for months. Don’t waste your money or time with Massey.

They are very punctual and I got caught in traffic so we had a miss on the first visit. I also thought someone was coming out to treat my house since I had seen a bug when really they were sending the sales guy. They were very nice and we rescheduled for the next day (Wed) but then it was the Monday of the following week before my house got treated. They have individuals that specialize in each side of the pest world, so one gentleman came and did the pest treatment at his next available appointment then another gentleman came and did the termite treatment when he next had an available appointment. Everyone is very nice, respectful and courteous. And so far I haven't seen any more bugs. I update this post if that changes.
Description of Work: I have initial pest treatment ($110), 1st qtr follow-up (less than a month later for another $80) and termite treatment and bond ($797 then $260 annually).

Robert Meeks arrived at the scheduled time. He had his supervisor and a trainee along with him, so we got plenty of attention! They inspected the yard, checked the sprinklers to see if the coverage was correct and discussed our options. We were looking for both lawn care and in-home pest control. They were very friendly, informative and professional. They were not pushy in any way. Once they had taken a good look around we sat down and discussed our options and the costs associated with each. The amount quoted is for the first fertilization and the once-a-year home pest control. Both the lawn man and the pest control man arrived at their scheduled times and were also very professional and informative. We had also asked that prior to scheduled maintenance on the lawn that we receive a phone call so that we can leave our gate unlocked. As requested, the day prior to the service they called to let us know so that we could unlock the gate. So far we are happy with their service.
Description of Work: Lawn fertilization and home pest control application.
