My roof was replaced by Johnson Roofing Orlando just over five years ago. At the time it seemed like a decent price, good craftsmanship etc. But recently I had some issues with the roof and have been trying to contact them to have them resolved. specifically two leaks were pointed out to me by another contractor performing electrical work in my attic. So obviously I should contact the roofer that installed the roof. I have left three voicemails, reached out by email and contact form on their website with no response. I ended up having another roofing company quote me on the repairs needed and it totaled $4800. Essentially the issue is Johnson failed to install flashing where the roof butts up to a wall, and then there is a large area where the 30 year shingles I purchased are already trash and no longer hold back moisture. I would not pick this company for your needs because they will not be there to back up their work. Update: Johnson Roofing has responded to this review, not sure where the disconnect is but I have responded to them via the email they provided. I had tried to call them earlier today, but again was received by a virtual assistant informing me to leave a voicemail. I do appreciate the response and hope to have this remedied. Update: Spoke to Steve at Johnson roofing, he ended up coming to my home and looking over my concerns. We talked about potential repairs and he scheduled to come back out. Today he repaired the issues. Always personable and prompt. The issue from the beginning was just a misunderstanding. Johnson roofing is a great choice for your roof.

I was very pleased with Johnson Roofing Orlando. Steve was courteous, honest, and professional throughout. He provided quality materials and his crew got the job done in one day, in spite of intermittent rain! Everything was explained thoroughly and I trusted Steve so was not worried or stressed. All trash cleaned up and hauled away. The roof looks great too! I highly recommend Johnson Roofing of Orlando.

Steve and his work crew were great to work with! They did a top quality job, finished in two days, did a great job of clean up after each day, and were considerate of us as homeowners. Steve adjusted our contract at beginning based on our changed priorities. Top notch job from start to finish!

Had Steve from Johnson Roofing repair eave areas on two sides of house. No leaks inside. Steve and his worker came out to home as scheduled and did repairs to areas as contracted. This was Oct. 2015. A Week after the repairs, the ceiling in the bathroom over the effected area started leaking inside house. I called Steve and he said he was busy that day, would try and make it out. Until he could get there, suggested that I insert a nail with string attached, into the hole in ceiling for the water to drain. Several hour later, Still raining, Steve did make it out to "repair" the area, caulk gun full of a cement type sealant. Our dry season came, with no rain, no water. I had to call Steve again in 2016, March, several calls, txts...no reply, no answer no acknowledgement of any kind. I have had to go up several times in attempts to stop leaks. STILL leaking and now damage to both areas of ceiling in bathroom and bedroom. In my voice mails and txts, I said that If I had to pay more to repair the repairs I would do it. I have contacted roofers to repair the roof again, now, no one available for weeks. I paid good money to have eaves repaired, only to get leaking into my home with no assistance to repair the damage. BBB has been contacted.

Everything went well. Steve and associate were very professional and friendly, honest. The two leaks on the roof were fixed. He gave me three years warranty on the roof. The porch leak turned out to be a gutter problem, it was not fixed. So far, I'm happy with the results.

Absurdly poor customer service.

The initial roof was replaced on 11/17/2001, but when the Florida rainy season came (summer of 2002) the roof leaked and I called Steve Johnson and he came and made repairs, but the roof continued to leak every rainy season. Johnson roofing was not able to stop the leaks. Then in 2008 Steve Johnson told me I would have to take up my complaint with GAF who was the warrantor of the Golden Pledge 12 year warranty.

They had to come back out a few times before the leak was fixed.. So that was frustrating, but they came back until it was completely repaired and didnt charge anything extra so I am a happy customer in the end.

Steve was very personable, polite, went right to work, did a good job explaining everything to me, and I would definitely use them again.
