Hessenauer Sprinkler Repair & Irrigation

Everything was done in a very timely manner. All appointment were met and on time. Communication was constant and sufficient. I do not know if price was reasonable or unreasonable, however, I had used Hessenauer for sprinkler repair on a previous year and knew they were prompt and efficient. I knew the work would be done professionally and accurately so I chose to go with personal experience rather that shop around for a different price. I only gave it a "B" because six hundred dollars was a lot of money for me.

Sterling was courteous and professional. He pointed out several problems in our system. We will use them for all of any future problems.

Good response, good work, pricey though.

Home is a rental in Orlando. Emma and Eon are very friendly and helpful. The coordinated repair work with real ease. I felt the price was reasonable and repairs were done in one day. Have used them for repairs in the past.

Sterling performed the inspection and needed repairs quickly and efficiently. Hessenauer has been doing quarterly inspections for several years. They always do a great job!

Unfortunately my experience was not so good. Once I had time to inspect the work that Sterling did, the only noticeable difference in the operation of the system was that one zone had much better flow, but none of the sprinklers had been adjusted and one sprinkler was spraying right onto the side of my house. Additionally, Sterling had left the system turned completely off, so had I not inspected the panel my yard would be without water. Despite this, I was still willing to give Hessenauer a chance to quote the repair to the main line that they said I needed and finish up the job. I waited patiently for a week for someone to call me back as promised, but the call never came. I gave Sterling a call and expressed my disappointment with the issues above and with the fact that nobody had called me back. He was very apologetic and said there was a miscommunication. He promised to call back in a couple hours as he was busy on another call. I never heard back from Sterling or anyone else from Hessenauer. I hate to leave a negative review, but I gave this company a second chance to make things right and they didn't follow through. I would not recommend this company.

Ian was very professional in completing this job. It is often quite uncomfortable when workmen come to your home because they Are strangers invading your private sanctuary. In this day and age it is difficult to trust even workmen who may have the best Of intentions. Ian was very polite and seemed conscientious of this fact. I felt very comfortable with his presence on my property. He explained in detail everything that would happen before he started the job. Ian also answered all of my questions, so YES I would recommend this company to anyone who wants a qualitative and worry free job.

327Emma Laccohee was very helpful and friendly when I made the first call. Her husband came out and checked the back flow value. Mr. Laccohee arrived early during the time frame Emma and I had set up. He called me, as I requested, so that I could get to Grace before he did. He was friendly. He tested the back flow quickly, but completely. He will send his report to Seminole County, as they should. I would recommend 'Hessenauer' to anyone and I plan to call on them next year to check the valve. This was written by the gentleman in our church that was tasked with getting the backflow inspection done. He said he would rate the company with an A+.

This was an EXCELLENT experience. I have been waiting for the company that I have used previously but I got tired and decided to try someone new. I called Hessenauer just this morning and Sterling came right out and did the work. I will use them for ALL of my sprinkler related repairs in the future.

Sterling arrived promptly and was very friendly and professional. He located the problem quickly and took care of it. We are so happy to finally find a person and company that we are very confident with regarding our sprinkling system.

Ian provided a detailed assessment of what he would do to correct drainage issues around my home and how long the work would take. He arrived a little early and worked both days until the project was completed. Ian worked directly with other contractors also working at my house to ensure the system worked properly. Ian kept me informed of the project status and was always friendly & courteous. I would highly recommend Ian and his company!

Our yards (front & back) are approximately 90% on drip irrigation (in order to conserve on water). Our last water bill indicated that we had used almost twice the amount of water then normal. Drip irrigation is wonderful to have unless there is a leak. Unlike pop-up sprinklers that create an almost mini crater when broken....drip does not. Drip will drip large amounts of water without a telltale sign. Very tough to troubleshoot. We turned to Angie's list and found Hessenauer. We chose them because of the favorable reviews and they are small business owners. Ian came out and found and fixed the drip in no time. We are back to saving water. This business gives small business owners a good name. Do not hesitate to call them. They are GREAT!!!

Ian and his associate Sterling came on time and did all the work themselves, digging and installing without complaint on a hot June day. They did everything as promised, installing high-quality parts and explaining as they went. (They had arranged for the utility people to mark the lawn so they wouldn't cut cable and phone lines.) They dug and trenched carefully and replaced all the sod they moved. They piled all the dirt on tarps and cleaned up thoroughly. It was not an inexpensive job, but we feel they've given us the best chance possible of preventing future water incursion inside our home.

I called on a Saturday and was surprised to speak to someone rather than having to leave a message. I described the issue we had been experiencing. They took my name/phone number and advised someone would call on Mon to advise an appointment time. I received a timely call with appointment time. I was advised Ian would be attending the appointment. He arrived on time and proceeded to identify the issue through a process of elimination. The pressure issue persisted after the first correction but Ian noticed air bubbles forming at the sand trap. He then replaced this valve and we regained the pressure needed to run our 5 zones. Very very happy a new well was not needed!!! :-) Ian was very professional as was his wife who handled the appointment. Their cost was very reasonable. We are planning a future landscape upgrade that will require an expansion of our current irrigation layout. We will be ongoing customers of Hesssenauer's for all of our future sprinkler/irrigation needs. Thanks Angie!

On the initial contact, I spoke to Emma in the office who, although she did not understand what our problem was, put me in touch with one of their specialists. After speaking to him, he felt that Ian would be able to address our needs and would have him contact us. Within 20 minutes I was contacted and an appointment was set up for the next day for a initial service call. Once Ian had determined what needed to be done to run this system, an promise was made for the following week for installation. I was contacted by email with a full detailed estimate of cost and service, followed up by an appointment with a 2 hour window. Ian showed up exactly on time and worked tirelessly through the early afternoon and completed the work on time and as promised. We are extremely pleased with the work that was done, the professionalism of the staff and the follow thru with the promises made. I would definitely use the provider again and would recommend them to my friends and family.

Our well pipe that supplies our irrigation system had started leaking and had lost its prime. After 2 days of working on it we decidied to call a proffesional. Ian at Hessenauer was recommended by a local electrical company, Henry Electric. . They were able to come on the same day. The technician repaired/replaced some of the pvc piping. He also was able to prime that well very quickly. The water pressure that we are able to receive is much better than before the leaks started. This was a wonderful first time experience working with this company. The technician was experienced and informative. I will be calling them again when we decide to upgrade our system. I would absolutely recommed them to everyone. Thanks a bunch!!!!!

They were prompt and repaired everything and got our sprinkler system working in great condition again. I will call them again in the future.

The service tech checked my irrigation controller to see why it didn't have any power. He informed me that the issue was in the breaker below it and that it needed to be replaced. He recommended Henry Electric for the job. He was done in approximately 20 minutes. He said that even though he couldn't fix my problem he would have to charge me for ,the service call.

Sprinkler controller was showing no power. Tried replacing fuse and battery, no success. Called Hessenauer late in the afternoon and was told the service manager (Sterling) for my area would call me back to schedule. He called the next day around noon and immediately apologized for the delay because he had a wrong digit in my number. He was able to be at my home in about 2 hours and showed up on time. Sterling tested the system and quickly discovered a bad solenoid for one of the zones. This was repaired in about 15 minutes and since I was paying for a one hour minimum, asked him to check all zones for coverage. He found one head that was bad and quickly replaced. Throughout the process, Sterling was extremely professional and explained and showed everything he was doing along the way, including the voltage readings from each of the zones. Very pleased with the service and experience with this company. Fairly priced and would definitely use again. I've already referred to a friend who was having some sprinkler problems.

I decided to use a different A-rated irrigation system company than I used last year to check out the problem with my irrigation controller box. I selected Hessenauer's and could not be happier. My contact was Ian and he was so personable, professional, dependable, and knowledgable. He arrived at my house on time-calling me ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. He actually got to my house before I did as I was on my way home from an appointment and running a little late. I asked him to go ahead and start checking out the problem. By time I arrived he already had everything figured out. My controller box was 13 years old and had basically"died". Ian showed me exactly where the problem was and I agreed tht I needed a new one. He replaced my old box and while checking out the new box after installation found a broken pipe in one of my sprinkling zones. He promptly fixed it. I was so impressed with my entire process that I asked Ian to place me on a semi-annual maintenance check with his company.

Emma in the office was very polite and professional. Ian came out to diagnose the issue in short order. Very pleasant, knowledgable and professional. Sterling came out a few days later to do the work. He too was highly professional and followed upwhen the work was completed. Everyone was prompt, responsive, and readily available. It ended up costing more than I hoped, but Ian provided the details re: the estimate I requested, and given that backflow prevention devices are expensive, and the reasonable labor estimated, the price seemed fair. Angies List discount helped!

Phenomenal. Ian was prompt, courteous, informative, helpful, and gave us a great price. Work was installed when promised, and he came back the next day to ensure everything was working properly. Highly recommend.
