Hessenauer Sprinkler Repair & Irrigation

The service person came on time, talked with me about what needed to be done and got the work done quickly and completely. He explained what he was doing and made sure the system was working before he left.

This is my first house, and when I asked the previous owner about the sprinkler system he said not to worry, that it came on at night, and was all set up to work fine. As the weather started getting hotter, patches of grass started dying, and I found out that while the sprinkler system was set up to work correctly, the reclaimed water had been shut off to the house. I called the water department, and they sent someone out the next day to turn it on - only to find that it flooded the lawn from underground - so I had to have them come back out to shut it off. Angie's list has proved itself valuable so far on heating & cooling and pool maintenance companies, so I looked up irrigation, and found Hessenaur to be the highest rated / best reviewed company in the area. I called them late in the day on 6/29, and was greeted by a very friendly person who asked me if it would be alright if one of the technicians called me the next morning. On 6/30, the technician called a little after 9am, asked me to describe the problem, and said he could fit me in right away due to a cancellation. He was at the house within 20 minutes or so, had me show him the problem area and the shut off valve for the reclaimed water, and then got right to work. The entire time, he was upfront about costs, and offered advice to help save me money. Since I made it clear to him that this was my first home, he also explained the different zones, pointed out where all of the sprinkler heads were located, and made sure my timer system was set up correctly. The entire experience took about an hour and a half, was very professional, and the technician had a strong sense of integrity and pride in his company that was appreciated. I will definitely be calling them for any future issues, and recommending them to friends.

Our irrigation system is 12 years old. Landscaping has matured & several of the sprinkler heads were broken or not reaching all of the areas. I found Hessenaur Irrigation on Angie's list and called. Emma returned my call promptly & we arranged for Ian to check out the system the next week. He arrived on time, checked things out & gave me what we considered to be a reasonable estimate. Ian was able to do the work that afternoon. He spent 3 1/2+ hours & explained what he had done & why. We also received the 10% discount because we used Angie's list. It seems to be functioning properly and we are pleased with the service. I feel confident this company will stand behind their work.

He does a good job, clean and neat. I've used him 3 years in a row for annual check.

I left a message in the morning and 15 minutes later he called me to say he would soon be over. He was really professional and worked on the valve for two and a half hours. I thought the price was reasonable and was very pleased with this company. I have used them once before and was just as happy with how that went. Side note: I have paid 300.00 to have valves replaced in the past.

Ian came out 1 day and made an assessment of the system and repairs needed along with a price, we agreed to move forward, he made a time the next day and arrived promptly, went to work and fixed and adjusted the system for full coverage and set the times on the timer. work was on time and budget, very pleased to had a contractor do what he says.

Ian arrived first thing in the morning and got to work fixing a broken main valve as soon as we finished discussing what needed to be done. He cut the sod before digging up the valve and replacing both. The unneeded risers were capped and existing risers elsewhere extended with black PVC pipe (which was a nice aesthetic upgrade) to spray over some bushes and into the lawn as intended. The broken sprinkler head was replaced and he even straightened a neighboring head which he noticed had been knocked a bit askew. After checking for coverage on all 4 zones he programmed the system to spray on my allotted watering days. Ian wiped his shoes before entering the house and was friendly and professional throughout.

Sterling came on time to the preset appointment that he made. He was here less time and completed more work thant any other company I have used( Four previously). Every thing we had dicussed was completed and then I was shown the results. The best part was that I didn't have to take the time to do it my self. I just can't recommend any one higher than this company. They are just nice to do business with.

Terrible. They were professional acting and showed up as scheduled. I later used my system and found that some sprinklers were covering my neighbor's yard, soaking my windows, watering the street, leaking and some of them didn't work at all. I'm having to get another contractor to come out and do what I asked them to do. I wonder what I paid for. It wasn't fixed at all.

I was very pleased with him. My sprinkler system had a timing problem. He made sure that it covered the areas that needed to be covered. He did a great job. I told him that I would call him back if I had any problems with the sprinklers. His charges were very reasonable. He was also very honest. He and his team showed me exactly what they did. I was very pleased with them. In the past, I have used some companies that would come in and do a hurried job. They would mess up things and I would have to call some other company to rectify it.

He showed up on time and I told him what I needed and talked to him a little more about the backyard. He came back and he told me what he would do and gave me an estimate. He did a good job and I was satisfied with his service.

Fantastic throughout the process. They explained what they would do on phone, and gave a very rough estimate on pricing making clear they did not give estimates but providing some general framework for pricing (which ended up being very accurate). Technician (Sterling Crosby) arrived at home, introduced himself to my wife and detailed what he would look for. After finding issues, he indicated to my wife about how much it would cost and got ok to do the work. Completed work in about an hour. Was on time, friendly and professional. They billed me via mail.

I was having a problem with the broken pipe and they came right out to take care of it. They offered us a reduced hourly rate, because we were maintenance customers. I can always count on them to be out at least fifteen minutes before they say that they will, because they are very prompt. They always leave everything, so that I can barely tell that they came out. They are A+'s!

Terrific experience. They were very easy to contact and schedule. They called to let us know that they were running about 15 minutes late due to traffic. They showed up and did great work at a very fair price. I highly recommend this company and would use them again.

They were quick and on time and did exactly what I wanted them to do. From my first contact with the office to the technition everything was done professionally and pleasantly. I can't think of any don'ts with this company but I would say Do use them.

Ian came to my house did his work, explained to me what he was doing, and gave me helpful tips on how to keep my sprinklers from getting damaged in the future and how they worked. Initial call was taken by wife Emma. We had a lovely chat about the problem with our leaky irrigation head. She said Ian would call me within the hour. He did so. We made the appointment for the next afternoon. He was at the door promptly at the time promised. He located the valves and replaced them. At the time we thought there was only one valve but there was another right next to it.

I would use them again. We were very pleased with the quality of work and the overall service and price.
