They dug all the way to the street and replaced the sod so it didn't look like the yard had been dug up that day. They cleaned up after the job. Description of Work: On October 9, I noticed that our sprinkler controller had gone bad. The LCD was only displaying 8s and there was no way to see what settings were actually present. The next day I emailed Ian of Hessenauer Sprinkler Repair and Irrigation to set up an appointment for service. I also needed my rain sensor replaced because it had not worked for some time. He responded by email within an hour and said he would be available to replace the controller and rain sensor the same afternoon.

Description of Work: I spoke with the wife's owner on Friday who promsied a call on Friday night or Saturday morning. By 0830 I had not received a call on Saturday so I phoned. I had a leaking irrigations system which OUC confirmed on Friday morning I needed fixed as soon as possible. She seemed offeneded I called so early and had me wait for 1 minute and 37 seconds while she got the appointment book. She then informed me the next appointment time was the next Thursday and they did not work on the weekends. Mind you I have an irrigation system I can't cut off leaking into my yard. Also, on Angie's list their stated hours on Saturday are 8:30am-3:00pm. How unprofessional. On Friday she should have told me to look elsewhere for emergency work. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I WAS PATIENT WAITED AND ONLY PHONED DURING BUSINESS HOURS. Update: Still Satruday morning and still leaking. I dug up and found the leaking sprinker area on my own but could not figure out how to repair. I phoned Ground Source Landscaping and the owner Joe Mouad answered right away. Leak, no problem. Will have a service tech by noon to repair. Told me if later than noon will call but will be today. Now, this company has not performed the service but so far I am very impressed with the professionalism and the fact they wok the hourse they have published on Angies List. Description of Work: Ian came out to restructure two french drain systems that had just been installed in January. the orriginal contractor did not know what he was doing in regard to creating a proper french drain. Upon inspection Ian suggested that a french drain wasn't the best option for our situation and suggested running a buried 4" pipe down closer to the retention pond in the back. so on both sides of the house he dug up the pipes that had been placed of the "french drains" and dug two trenches out to the pond area and placed spillover boxes on the ends which sit just under the surface of the soil.

Description of Work: Most recently, during a quarterly maintenance check, they unclogged some sprinkler heads and repaired and repositioned others. Over the past several years, Hessenauer has performed the following on my half acre property: installation of irrigation meter overflow valve, installation of rain sensor, regular quarterly maintenance, numerous repairs, and repositioning of heads as the landscape changed.

Description of Work: After landscape changes our irrigation system needed rerouting and updating. A very complete onsite evaluation was conducted. Two days later I received a comprehensive plan with cost. The plan called for changing lines in our back yard and replacing and adding additional heads in our front yard. I accepted the purposal and the work was scheduled.

Description of Work: Last July (2011) Hessenauer installed a sprinkler system in our backyard after we had put in a pool. We installed zoysia sod in late October. After the lawn became established this spring, we noticed several areas that were not getting good coverage since the grass did not green up after the spring fertilizer application. We called Ian of Hessenauer to see if he would come out and adjust the sprinkler coverage to remediate the brown areas. The appointment was scheduled for the following week and Ian arrived on time. He checked out the entire coverage in the back yard. He adjusted some of the sprinklers to get better coverage, installed new sprinkler heads in some of the pop-ups to increase the throw from 8 to 10 feet and set the water time on the central control box to ensure the lawn would get the required amount of irrigation each week. This was done under his initial installation charge and was not an additional cost.
