DAVID WEEKLEY HOMES

My experience with David Weekley homes has not been positive. I recommend using a different builder for your new home. The warranty manager and regional manager in the Tampa bay area will NOT help you if you have a problem with your home. I had an issue with tile cracking in my home dating before the purchase in 2006. I even have an email from the sales representative stating that there was a problem. They never fixed the foundation properly. I finally had a home inspection performed and was told that their work was very sloppy. When I called for help, the warranty manager was extremely rude and condescending. He did not offer to fix the situation and actually suggested I pay another company to pull up the tile. I called his manager and he said he would follow up, but he has still has not addressed the situation. I am being completely ignored. Ironically, my mother just purchased a brand new home with Mercedes Homes. She had the exact same problem as I did and told the warranty manager about the issue. They actually used epoxy on the floor and completely re-floated it. It is now beautiful! Mercedes Homes is a better builder and I would definately use them to purchase my next house.
