Native Cuts Landscaping

The initial design and installation went well, we have no complaints with that, However, Native Cuts required us to hire them to provided lawn/plant/tree care service in order for our new trees to be covered under their warranty. Two bushes died within one month and a drain down spout was damaged by one of their workers (trimmer). When we brought this to the attention of the owner, he refused to visit our home to see for himself after several calls, e-mails and requests by us. He sent a very curt, rude and unprofessional e-mail directing us to pay $390 for three months of lawn care service or he would place a lien on our home. I told him I would not pay him until he fulfilled his contractual obligation and provide a notarized "release of lien" since he threatened to lien our property. Furthermore, I had his check for the full amount of $390 waiting at my home for months for him to pick up, providing he completed his warranty work and removed the lien from our home. He refused to come and left the lien on our home. I will likely have to take him to court to get the lien removed. Lastly, their customer service is nonexistent and quite counter productive. The owner's unprofessional behavior towards us is the cause of all our problems. BUYER BEWARE!!!
