My clothes dryer needed repair-and I contacted Top Notch for a service call. Robert arrived when he said he would to diagnose the problem with my dryer, advised me how much it would be, requested a deposit and arranged the return date and time frame to do the job. I had just gone through this scenario with Affordable Appliance Repair (which I've also reviewed on Angie's list). I did tell Robert about my very unpleasant experience with them-and was assured that this would not be repeated. What a DIFFERENCE between Top Notch-and "Affordable"!!! It's a simple difference. Robert is HONEST!!! He kept his promise to advise me when the dryer part had been received by him. We arranged a time frame for the repair on the pre-arranged day. He actually arrived at my house on the early end of the estimated time frame. He repaired the dryer quickly, and checked it completely to be sure that it was fully operational. He is very knowledgeable in his field, very professional and pleasant. He's a bit exuberant about his business, but IMO he has the right to be. I highly recommend Top Notch.

Robert was on time and called ahead to let us know he was coming. He initially thought the problem was a bad board ,but wanted to make sure so we didn't have to buy a board and still have a problem so he temporally fixed the freezer to work until he came back, he came back a few days later with the part's to repair the freezer which were a lot cheaper than replacing a board. Bottom line: Robert is a very nice and knowledgeable appliance repair man, and we will never use anyone else. Thanks Robert

The owner, Robert had previously been called to correct a problem in the freezer. The drain was frozen and had to be cleared. Robert arrived on time and fixed the problem promptly. Robert asked a lot of questions regarding our use of the freezer in an attempt to identify the reason for the frozen/clogged drain. Robert suggested that we keep an eye on the temperature gauge as the temperature should not drop below zero. I checked the gauge the next morning and it registered 30 degrees below zero. I attempted to correct the situation using the controls in the freezer. Those efforts were unsuccessful. I called Robert and he advised that he would do some research on my particular model and attempt to determine what parts I might need. This was all during the Christmas holidays. Robert called back the next night and advised that he thought it was a bad sensor, although, it could also be the circuit board. Robert recommended trying the least expensive alternative, which was the sensor. Robert ordered the part and as soon as he received it he contacted me and we scheduled an appointment. Robert came out at the appointed time, and quickly changed out the sensor. Robert advised us to keep an eye on the gauge, in the event that the sensor did not fix the problem. The temperature in the freezer appears to be stabilizing. In the event that I need a new circuit board, I will contact Robert for a price to determine whether to repair or replace. Robert strikes me as an honest, capable, committed businessman that believes in customer service more than just profits. I have already recommended Robert to friends and will not hesitate to continue to do so in the future.

As mentioned above this company came to me from Citrus County. He did a great job! He made an exception for us. I think the company/owner would prefer to stay in the northern counties of Tampa area. We knew him w.hen he was living and servicing here in Pinellas County.
