Arrived on time and stayed until everything was back in place.

Gerardo was on time and had a professional demeanor. He asked what the issue was and I explained what was happening. He asked if he could come into the home to see the two units. Upon arriving at the first unit, he immediately recognized the clogged drain. He explained what he was going to do and the cost associated with the work. He cleared the first drain line and realized the emergency cut-off switch was bad. He explained how it was supposed to work but stated it was defective because it did not shut the unit down before it flooded the house. He pulled off the old shut-off and installed the new switch. He showed us the switch working properly. Then, he repaired the thermostat, which the previous owner had ripped from the wall. Next, he checked the upstairs unit and it too had a clogged duct and no way to place drain cleaner into the line. He placed an opening in the drain line, so future clogs could be prevented. He also repaired the second thermostat because it too was ripped from the wall. Gerardo then checked the outside units for proper functioning. He stated the price for all of the work and he seemed to be genuinely concerned about doing the work for the best price. He stated that some of the work could be done at a later time, as it was not affecting the functioning of the unit. We asked that he service the units to ensure we would have no foreseeable problems and he stated he would be happy to check everything. He found the units outside needed refrigerant, so he told us the cost and asked if we wanted him to fill them up. After he got permission to proceed, he filled the units with the refrigerant. He also noticed the fan was not spinning properly on one outside unit, so I asked him to replace the fan. He stated he would check the cheaper alternative before replacing the expensive fan. Gerardo stated the condenser could be bad and this piece was only about $70. He replaced the condenser and the fan started to function properly. I thanked him for not trying to overcharge me for service I did not need. He finished with the outside units and cleaned up after himself. He wrote out a detailed invoice for all of his services and thanked us for choosing Air Care Specialists. We will use Gerardo for all of our air care needs.

Air Care Specialists are great. They did a real thorough job. They were on time. Their price is comparable to others in their line of work.

I recently moved into a old house and needed to have the air ducts inspected and cleaned. Although there was a language barrier with the crew the came in, they were very professional and thorough and helpful. They brought drop clothes to protect my floor and left leaving both my house and my garage even more clean than before I got there. The paid attention to extra detail - including switching out screws for the vents, writing down the filter sizes, and helping me direct vents for better airflow in some of the rooms. They were polite, helpful, and professional and went the extra mile to ensure everything was working properly. I will certainly use this company again.

I have to rate ths company as TOP NOTCH...no hidden charges or even attempts to raise another charge. They are professional and do a great job. I WILL ALWAYS use this company for this service.

It was great. We took advantage of an Angie’s List special for the duct and vent cleaning. It also included the service call, so that made the other two repairs very cost effective. They were the utmost. They explained the process. They sent a complete team of three to do it with a team leader, and they were finished with all the work in about two and a half hours. We would recommend them to others about their professionalism, their promptness, and the ease of working with them. When we called, they answered the phone promptly. They were able to give us a wide choice of dates and times. They confirmed beforehand, and they consulted with us each step of the process.

It was just after 7:00 pm when I noticed my house was getting uncomfortably warm. When I looked at the thermostat it was set at 72 but the temperature was 80. I checked the air coming out of the ducts and it was warm. I went outside and realized that the unit on the side of the house was not running. Not good! I immediately called Air Care Specialists. I have done business with them in the past and was very happy with them and the work done. The phone was answered by Debbie who coordinates scheduling of repair work. I was surprised that Debbie recognized my name immediately. After telling her what was going on with the air conditioner she told me that she would call Gerardo to see how quickly he would be able to get to my house. Gerardo was on a repair call at the time and Debbie wasn't sure how long he would be. Before making the call though, Debbie told me what the service charge would be. A service call is $100 + parts. Because it was after hours there would be an additional $50. If you live in south Florida you would know that the price quoted was comparable or lower than other companies. I know because before finding Air Care Specialist, I did extensive research on repair costs in this area. After about 10 minutes or so, Debbie called me back and said that Gerardo thought he could be at my house by 8:30-9. Gerardo called me at 7:55 pm and told me that he was heading to my house and would be about 30 minutes or so depending on traffic. Gerardo arrived at 8:30 with his usual smile even though it was plain to see that he was tired. Debbie told me that it had been a very busy day. He checked the thermostat and the inside unit and then went outside. After about 30 minutes, I noticed the blowing air was cooling down. A few minutes later Gerardo came in with a nasty looking piece of equipment and explained what it was. It was a burned out capacitor and it was a real mess! It's nice to know that I can depend on Air Care Specialists. The hot, humid season (wet season) is almost here and let me tell you, it is no time to have air conditioning problems. I know that Gerardo and his crew will, not only fix whatever problems may arise, but they will do it promptly and most importantly, correctly!

Very punctual and and attentive. They were very detailed in explaining the process and what to expect. I was home and they were very respectful and mindful of my space and they managed to work around it. They took almost five hours to complete the process! I do feel a difference in the quality of the air and the way the house smells.Even with the special, they were a little bit more expensive than another quote I have gotten, but I chosen them due to the high on angie's list. I would highly recommend this company.

I have to say that this company was the first HONEST A/C company I have ever enocuntered. Not only were they punctual but very attentive and straight forward. They never tried to up sell me on things I did not need. I will defintely use them and recommend them to others. Thank you very much Air Care Specialist.

They came on time and finished early, while still being thorough.

It went extremely well. Two guys were here for about 3 or 4 hours and were meticulous and very professional in their work. I highly recommend this company as they are real professionals and didn't try to sell me on doing extra vents.

Messaged them for a quote through Angie List. Got a response back with in a hour with a quote through email on a special they were running. Called the next day told them I did not need part of there special so she took money off of the quote they gave me. Called back with in a hour made appointment for the following day for 9am. They were there 10 mins early which I thought was great as I hate if people are late. Very neat clean and professional. Will use them again when I get my vents cleaned again.

They did a thorough job and for the price, it was reasonable. Sometimes the prices, especially for air duct cleaning services, for what they deliver isn't worth it. They flushed out the unit and did a real good job.

Spoke to debbie, i believe that was her name. Very, very helpful. The warranty on the system would only be for a few months. That was the drawback. I would definitely recommend this company.
