They showed up on time and were very friendly. They conducted the work efficiently and were careful to make sure the dust from the ducts did not spread around the house. I would recommend them.

They showed up early and completed the task in the time they projected. Workers were okay, some didn't speak English and didn't seem to be up to speed with the other staff. Had to remind them to put kitchen vent back up. Over all the service was good.

Mario and his crew arrived on time. The work was done professionally, workers covered up areas around the vents and even vacuumed on ledges around the home. I was impressed in the manner that the job was done.

It was fine. They came in, missed a couple things that I had to point out before they left. I think they did a good job, but I've never had it done before, so I can't be sure.

ok--they did leave quite a mess--if they advised us to cover everything we would have--we had them come back as there was considerable "stuff" still in the ducts--but they came back promptly and re-did the job--the on item that was alittle irritating was they would not accept Angies List coupon--if it was a special they did not make me aware of it besides--they would do up to 10 openings and we only had 5--they were verycourteous and professional and as i said came back without hesitation

I recently purchased a new home and was not provided any record of when the air duct system was last cleaned. Air Car Specialists did a great job of assessing the situation and informing me as to what vents posed the most concern for my home's air quality. They were professional, polite, reasonably priced and left their work areas clean. Considering that my wife has allergies, I look forward to using them again in the future.

We have been increasingly unhappy with the air quality of our home and the excessive amount of dust. Given the age of the home ( 28 years), the previous owner had a dog, the fact that we had a bathroom remodeled and other construction work done, it seemed like air duct cleaning might be in order. Frankly, we had heard all sorts of horror stories about the process.... damage to the ducts, the place left a mess, little change in the air quality, etc., we really weren't very optimistic, but felt we had to try something. That lead us to Angie's list and Air Care Specialists. From beginning to end, ACS was professional... from the gal on the phone to the men who did the actual job, we were totally pleased. The team arrived on time, handled moving our furniture when necessary with care and made good suggestions. The cost was more than I expected initially BUT... we underestimated the number of vents and opted to have the dryer vent cleaned as well. Really good thing we had the dryer vent cleaned out. Despite the fact the dryer is only 2 years old, the vent was nearly blocked and yet we faithfully remove lint from the in-machine lint catcher each drying cycle! A fire hazard in the making. My husband also asked the men to check the status of our AC as another company had charged us a fortune for a slow Freon leak which was still leaking. ( We had been using that other company for years but their responsiveness seems to have evaporated along with the freon?..) The ACS repairman replaced a valve at a reasonable fee and we have had no problem since!!! Yes, we now have a new AC company? Air Care Specialist, Inc! As for air quality of our home, we felt the difference right away. Little bits of dust still came out thru the vents for awhile but that has now ceased. The level of dust in the house is markedly reduced. No one is clogged up when they arise in the morning. This is a huge improvement all around. Worth every penny.

This is the kind of experience you want to have when you have a big job to get done. Starting with the appointment and info needed to get started everything was handled professionally and proficiently. Details like copy of license & insurance for the condo and permits were all taken care of in a timely manner. The workers showed up on time and worked until the job was finished with perfection. they left a clean work area and the air conditioner is working beautifully. Thank you Air Care Specialist for a job well done.

The technicians arrived on time and explained the procedure to clean the ducts. They were very courteous and professional. I am very satisfied with their work. Highly recommend.

Overall it went alright. Company crew of two came to perform the work covered by the Big Deal offer I purchased, HVAC duct cleaning. The two gentlemen were courteous and polite: a younger fellow with whom I communicated, and a 2nd fellow not as young and who did not speak English. The younger carefully removed all duct registers for access, while the 2nd fellow performed the cleaning of the ducts. However in cleaning he had some challenges with the equipment, specifically the brush attachments, which didn't seem to be functioning quite the way he was expecting they should. Following cleaning, the HVAC system was restarted. Residual particles that were loosened but remained in the ducts were expelled from some of the more centrally located registers, which debris was left by the crew for me to clean up. Additionally, I had requested an examination of the A/C unit at the time I scheduled the appointment, as the fan motor had stopped working, and there was evidence of a water drip. While the crew was cleaning the ducts, a third gentleman arrived to address these concerns. He stated he was a friend and colleague of the company owner, who was out of the country at the time. He determined that the fan motor capacitor was defective and needed replacement, which he proceeded to do; (this accounted for charges that effectively doubled the cost of the Big Deal offer, though legitimately so). He also said he adjusted a float valve intended to prevent dripping from water overflow as had previously occurred. Separately from this visit, which I consider a satisfactory service experience, 9 months later at 9pm on Saturday night of Labor Day Weekend, I called on this vendor again for help for a serious water leak that began from the A/C unit water pipes. The Angie's List information supplied by this provider indicated 24 hr service. Not receiving a callback after two hours, I phoned another highly-rated provider, left a voice message, received a callback within 15 mins., and had the problem resolved expeditiously by another provider's onsite technician. Regrettably, this is why I say I would not request services from this company again. I truly don't mind paying a premium for professionally done top quality work when needed during off-hours or weekends, and especially on holidays, but I will not give my business or customer loyalty to a service provider who is unable to respond to my service call in time of need. (The company eventually did call me back - on Tuesday following the holiday weekend - 3 days after my call for help with water gushing from pipes!)

They were professional and did a good job cleaning the air ducts. They also cleaned up afterthemselves. I would use them again.

They did a fantastic job. They did not leave anything messy or scratch anything with their ladders. They were extremely careful and washed the vents thoroughly.

The company did a fantastic job, they were prompt, very polite and did a great job with the vent/duct cleaning. They were careful to cover items and cleaned up afterwards. I would definately recomment this company to anyone who needs air conditioning/vent cleaning services. They are A+

Mario and another guy came out to the house. They were supposed to call before they showed up and they didn't, they just showed up unannounced. They said they were there to fix a leak. I told them they were supposed to be here for a possible clog, not a leak. Mario stayed inside and started working on my AC unit while the other guy went outside to look at the outside unit. Mario just verified that my drain line was clear. I thought the next thing he would do is see if here was a clog upstairs, but he instead started taking the unit apart. I realized he was working on a leak, which I wasn't concerned about. The other guy came in and started helping Mario and he put down a towel. The towel should have been put down first before any work was started. They then gave me a bill for $100. They didn't even do what I asked, they thought they were there to fix a leak and didn't understand that that's not what I was wanting. It was very hard to communicate with them both. I let them know that it still wasn't working and they went to the outside unit and tested it and Mario realized there was no power. He went to the panel and turned the power on and it seemed to be working at that time. They left and then on the 19th I found that it wasn't working again. There was a 30 day warranty on their work, and it had been 15 days. I called them up and requested someone who speaks English to the lady that answered the phone, Debby, who said she would send over someone that speaks English, who is the owner, Gerardo. He came over and just reset the thermostat and left. It was working so he left. Five days later it stopped working again and it stated it was set for 90 degrees. Gerardo came back again today and said I needed a new thermostat. I don't know why I wasn't told that the first two times they were here. He then charged me $75 for this visit. To me this is very poor service. It was very hard to communicate with them and they just took my money and ran each time. They wanted to charge me $120 for a new basic, nonprgrammable thermostat. I declined purchasing it through them and paid the $75 for the visit. #1 Poor communication #2 Misdiagnosis #3 Multiple return visits #4 Second service charge with no resolution #5 They didn't honor their warranty

The company promptly responded with both a phone call and an email as I requested. We scheduled the service for two days later and the truck showed up within 10 minutes of the appointment time (9:30). The two guys put tarps down in every room where they were going to work, then removed all the grills from the ducts, and had the ladders to reach the really high ducts. They they took the grills outside to our driveway to be washed down with soap and water. The outsides of the grills were clean (we're good about cleaning the filter) but my wife went out to the driveway and reported back that the insides of the grills were pretty dirty. The techs then stuck a twirling brush on a vacuum rod and used it in every opening to stir up and suck out more accumulated dust. When the grills were dry, the techs put them all back where they came from and cleaned up after themselves. Finally, they used a liquid to float more dust off the coils inside the air handler. They may have also put a little bleach in the drain pan, but I don't know for sure. They were here for several hours and did a very thorough job.
