I purchased the Angies list special for air duct cleaning. You pay immediately via Angies List. Provider contacted me within 2 hours and scheduled for following day. Guys showed up right on time. Were very professional and thorough. Cleaned up after themselves and most importantly to me didn't suggest a bunch of "recommended" services. I was very impressed and will use again and recommend.

As I had mentioned to Debbie at the time I requested the quote, I would need a longer period of time to decide because of several personal circumstances I had going on at the time, and Debbie accommodated my need. When I called to confirm acceptance of the quote, Debbie was able to setup a very convenient appointment for the installation, which she told me would take about 6 hours. The installers, Ramfis and Eddie, arrived right on time (9 a.m.). They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. As this was an attic installation, they had to take the old air handler apart in the attic, and than carry the parts down and out. Then they dissembled the new air handler, and re-assembled it up in the attic. While that was going on, the leader, Gerardo, started working on the outside compressor unit, and installed my compressor blanket. This, because of my concern about compressor noise of the old unit. Debbie had suggested to get a compressor blanket ($150). This would turn out to be the best advice she gave me. And on top of that she suggested to resolve a noise problem with an other 2 year old unit (installed by a different company , prior to us having bought the house), by adding a compressor blanket there too. And although I wasn't so sure this would work, it was the right solution. To my amazement, this one was free of charge. Wow, thank you so much Debbie. You rock. Gerardo, did all the paper work with me, and said that it is their company policy to do the product registration (for free), so as to assure the warranty is activated timely. Eddie thoroughly cleaned the slab before he installed and anchored the compressor unit. Ramfis did a great job installing the air handler in the attic with the UV light, no damages, no debris. Clean job. When the install was finished and the A/C was turned on for the first time, I was so surprised about how quiet both the air handler and the compressor were. And on top of that the room cooled amazingly quick. Now, at night, I can hardly hear the air handler, but the unit still cools the rooms amazingly fast. Although the compressor is right next to my bedroom window I cannot hear it run. Initially I had some reservations getting the Rheem unit, but now I am a happy camper. It seems like I have the high-end unit at the low-end price. I would certainly recommend Air Care Specialist to anyone. This is the first time ever, I was very happy with the service rendered by a A/C contractor. Although it doesn't seem that Debbie goes on the road, she absolutely knows how to deal with clients, what advice to give them, and how to resolve any issue you may (think) you have. She is kind, courteous, and very knowledgeable. And Gerardo is the same. The installers are great technicians. In short a great team. A great experience. Keep up the great work Debbie and Gerardo! This is the only A/C contractor I want to deal with!

On day one, we received an immediate callback from Debbie to schedule an initial consult visit with Gerardo, which we set for the next day. He was awesome and within hours we had our estimate. Air Care Specialist Inc. was so incredible the first time around (which was just last week when they installed our brand new A/C system) that we had them come back this week to repair and insulate our duct work. Let me tell you, we could not have asked for better service. From Debbie in the front office to Gerardo and his crew, every person we encountered at Air Care Specialist, Inc. was so professional and accommodating we felt as though we were V.I.P.'s. On the day work began, the crew showed up promptly at 8:30am and headed straight into the attic to get to work. They worked nonstop until 5pm to get the job done in one day instead of two. These guys were so low key, my family hardly knew they were there. They were quiet, courteous, and extremely clean. Now, for the first time in the 10 years we've lived here, our home is so cool in every single room! Finding Air Care Specialist, Inc. on Angie's List really was a blessing for our family. We waited far too long to fix the problems with our A/C and duct system because we felt there were too many shady contractors out there and didn't know who could be trusted. Purpose was to clean HVAC vents throughout home. On time. Very thorough. Very neat. Professional in all aspects. Definitely recommend

Absolutely useless Wasted my time and raises questions on the value of Angies list since this is the second time a "deal" failed to deliver When I did call suggested a further reschedule or cancel given the holiday I cancelled I am extremely disappointed with the deals provided by Angies list Please arrange a refund asap

Two specialist performed all work using special equipment in an effective manner. Initially they took steps to cover all areas near and around the vents. After2wards they cleaned up and cleaned and replaced all vent covers. The results increase the air flow and cooling of the A/C unit.

I had all the ducts cleaned while the house was empty, which was good as so much dust etc comes out of ducts during the cleaning process, the gentlemen where very efficient and professional, I got the deal and only had 2 extra ducts so price worked out.

It went very well. I only wish the person who came to do the work could speak better English. It was hard to understand him

They were on time, very professional, humble and very nice. They covered all areas so that there wouldn't be any dust, cleaned each vent, and vacuumed the areas when they were done. They were excellent and I will be using them again in the future.

The gentleman arrived and hour early, but did not call, as we were not at the apartment. They then came back 15 minutes before the appointment time. The two brothers that came to do the work were very courteous but spoke very little English. They removed all the vents and covered the floor by all the vent openings. They cleaned all of the vents and proceeded to clean the ducts. They were very thorough making sure they got all the way back to the A/C unit. After the duct cleaning, they carefully picked up all the drop clothes and proceeded to vacuum the whole house as well as on top of some of the furniture that was under the ducts. They sanitized the ducts with a spray product as well as the A/C unit. They then changed the filter in the A/C unit with a one we had in the apartment. The whole process took just over and hour. We had seven ducts. Well worth the price.

Showed up on time for initial inspection. After inspecting the existing equipment they recommended installing a 1/2 ton larger unit. The price difference was acceptable and I agreed. A couple days later was install day. Installation went smoothly. The technicians wore show covers and placed floor covering in the house. Couple hours later I had a brand new HVAC. There was a small issue with the amount of coolant initially installed that was inadequate. Air Care came back later the same day (after hours) and resolved the issue. No problems since and my electric bill is 30% cheaper compared to pre replacement. Thank you, AIR CARE SPECIALIST, INC.

The workers were efficient, on time and cleaned up afterwards. Very pleased with this service and will use them again.

Mario and Chester arrived on time. We figured which vents would be cleaned, tarps were laid down, the metal vent covers were removed and washed clean and the n the vacuuming began. I decided to have the dryer vent cleaned as we had never had it cleaned in the 10 years we have lived in the house. That's when the fun began. It was blocked at the vent cap on the roof with about 3 feet of lint and dryer cloths (dryer cloths from the previous owner!) A dryer vent fire just waiting to happen!!! Great service and excellent result. I can't speak highly enough of Air Care Specialist, Inc and Debbie in the office and Mario and Chester.

These guys are VERY good! 1) They were responsive via e-mail, phone, etc. 2) They gave a very good price for the work to be done. 3) They were on-time and brought in an additional team to get it done well 4) They discovered that the scope of work was greater than they originally estimated, but performed the work without any drama. They took responsibility and delivered against the original quote. 5) When asked to do a duct clean up they were VERY honest in suggesting that we go with another company that does "negative pressure cleaning", which they don't do. Their method would have likely damaged my ducts given their delicate state. 6) They went out of their way to find out answers to regulation questions that weren't directly related to the job they had to do. EXCELLENT people and results. Would recommend them many times over.

I purchased an Angie's Deal for my house ducts and vents to be cleaned. I knew when I ordered it that there would be some additional charges because there were more vents in the house than were covered by the Angie's Deal. The team from Air Care Specialists were on time, very professional, and gave me a precise estimate on the additional work before they started. I just moved into this house and it was left very dirty, with very little upkeep with regards to the HVAC. In addition to the air ducts and vents being cleaned, I asked them to recondition all 4 AC units. They whipped it into shape for me in 1 day flat. When they arrived and saw the large scope of work to be done, they called an additional team member to come out that same day to do the additional work and made sure it got completed by the end of the day. Very honest, hard workers, and extremely clean. I will use them again and highly recommend them!

Everything went very well. They were on time. Very professional. They put down tarps on the floor to catch the debris that would come out of the vents. They were very careful moving the furniture and carrying the big vacuum up the stairs so as not to scratch the walls or the wood stairs. They checked that the A/C was working properly without any leaks and they recommended a larger size filter. They cleaned the floors and everything that got dirty as a result of the vent cleaning. I was very satisfied with the work that Mario and Chester performed on this visit and I will call them again when I need this job to be performed.

Great. Only negative is I requested a quote for HEPA filter installation multiple times and never received any follow up. They tried to sell a UV device instead, though they said they'd get back to me on HEPA pricing twice and didnt. The actual work they did was very well done though.

ACS' general manager, Gerardo Guerrero, came and performed a quick assessment and diagnostic of the problem; drained and vacuumed the drip pan after lower it and a duct which were at the wrong pitch. He also vacuumed the line from the outside. All the while, he patiently explained what he was doing. Mr. Guerrero was very friendly and professional. He did a great job; I would uses their services again and recommend ACS to anyone needing HVAC services.

Was able to make the appointment for the same day. Gerald's came out and determined leak was coming from coil. Ordered in the part, which arrived that afternoon, and came back that day to install.

Everything went very well, they are very responsive and professonal. Only issue to me is that they barely spoke English, and I don't speak Spanish. There was definitely a language barrier. For example I wanted to know more about the lay out of my AC system because it is a new house for me, and I was not able to understand everything. I think I bought a yearly check, so next time they come to check I will ask them for someone who speak English.

Since we purchased a home that had been neglected for so long, we decided to have the A/C tuned up and all the vents cleaned and sanitized. The professionalism of the office staff started us on the right path to satisfaction. They set up the appointment and called to confirm the day before. In addition, they contacted me after the job was completed to verify we were satisfied. Now that is great customer service! The two A/C guys, Chester & Mario, explained the process, efficiently did the work and made some suggestions as to ways to keep my A/C running smoothly. They also ensured that furnishings throughout the home were not affected and they cleaned up thoroughly after they finished. I am ready soon to have this service performed soon since it is a year later and will be contacting them again! Better later than never to write this review!

Easy to schedule an appointment. Crew was right on time. They did a great job laying out tarps to cover floors and furniture. They did an excellent job cleaning up after the duct cleaning was finished.
