Charlie is a wonderful person and a great handyman. He is very polite, and easy to work with. He did a fantastic job replacing a fence post and repairing a gate after recent storm damage We ended up having him look at some dry wall repair we needed after he replaced the fence post, and he came back a few days later and did a great job removing and replacing old water damaged dry wall. Charlie is very honest and hardworking, and we will be using him as our go-to handyman in the future. I highly recommend him for anyone who values hard work and integrity.

Very well. Was quite a more complicated task than originally thought and his price was extremely low for what he had to do. Even offered to haul to dump. Will definitely use him for anything around my place. Very pleasant.

First of all, we made an appointment for Labor day which I thought was odd. He never contacted me again to confirm. When I finally reached him on the day he was supposed to show, he said he thought I changed my mind since he didn't hear from me. Bad business! He finally shows up to start the work we had agreed upon including the price and after I explained everything to him he tells me he just wants to do an estimate and come back another day. He had already given me an estimate the week before. I expected the work to begin and he was floundering about doing the job at all. Take my advice and never hire this man to do anything.

I needed a small fence and gate installed at the side of my house. Charles called the day after I posted the project, came to the house, then went to Lowes for needed supplies and returned the next day to do the job. He did excellent work, was extremely professional and punctual and could not have been nicer. Despite a pounding rain when he was half way finished, he stayed and continued to work until the job was completed. I will definitely be contacting him again.

It went well. The men were always on-time and ready to work even if I wasn't. They were diligent in getting the job done right. I found that hiring both of them allowed them to talk through the problems and arrive at the correct decision. The men were very thoughtful and easy to talk with and were amenable to changes.

While selling a condo in Florida, the buyers' inspection revealed a problem with the bathroom tile and replacement became a condition of the sale. We had a small window of time to get the work done. Charles Smith gave it his immediate attention and got the work done prior to closing. Because we live out of state, he had to shop for the right tile himself. He picked out a tile that went well with the wall tile of the bathroom. He kept us informed during every step of the process. We are very pleased with the outcome.

He did well re: the removal of fans, light fixture and screen install. Minor carpentry did not go as well. He is very nice, and I will hire him again when I need fixtures installed.

Top marks to Charles Smith of “Trying To Think Handyman Services”. He came out that same day I phoned, my project was to hang a curtain rod that spanned 144” to hold 4 panels of black out curtains. The first thing he did was to check and measure the wall to ceiling ratio to see if it was straight. From there we discussed the project, he gave me a price and we hired him on the spot! Charles returned an hour and half later with all the tools required to do the job – although I did provide stepladders. He is meticulous in his work, checks measurements, and ensures all levels are even and voila! My gorgeous floor to ceiling curtains are hung! I have several of his business cards and will hand them out to my neighbors should they have the need of a handyman! Delightful man, easy going, efficient, very reasonably priced and takes pride in his work! You can’t ask for more than that!
