Called Tim on a Friday My plan was to drop off the machine for repair and was surprised that Tim scheduled a Monday morning house call... He arrived when scheduled and completed working on the machine quickly and professionally...His fee was reasonable and I will surely use him again...

Tim not only cleaned and lubed both machines, he gave me great tips and tricks to keep both running well, plus taught me some new things about both machines. These are both vintage and he knew everything about them. Tim is awesome!

I called Mr. Malone yesterday. He returned the call in the early evening, scheduling for 10AM today. I live quite far from Largo - couldn't believe he would make a house call especially for the price! He arrive three minutes early, fixed the machine within 30 minutes, and I couldn't be more pleased! This kind of service and pricing is almost obsolete. Very grateful and I highly recommend! (When my neighbor heard I had a repairman coming, she also scheduled a repair. He's there now ... We'll see what she thinks soon.)

Unfortunately with my sewing machine, He was unable to fix it. So, I took it else where.

First, one must understand that Tim is a relic from another era...and I say that in the most complimentary way possible...like discovering a hidden piece of gold. Not only can he tear down and reassemble machines that few in today's digital world even know how to operate, but he also makes house calls! We inherited a 25 year-old Singer sewing machine that had sat dormant on a hot porch for many years, so we felt it best to have it checked out and lubricated before putting it into use again. Tim took care of that in about 35 minutes and then provided some basic lessons in how to use the machine...all at a very fair price and in the comfort of our home. If you have a sewing machine that needs service in Pinellas County, Tim Malone is the person to do it. A master of his trade, a consummate professional, prompt and very fairly price. Highly recommended!

Tim is an amazing Repair Person! He is extremely knowledgeable in his vocation! Probably could put a sewing machine together blind-folded. Tim is extremely pleasant, answers stupid questions without a grin & works diligently on your machine until it works better than when you first purchased it. He is a supreme master of his craft & takes pride in his work!

I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Malone into your home to repair any sewing machine problem you might have. He took his time and explained what he was doing. My machine is now running perfectly. You will not be disappointed with his service. He is honest and very reasonable.

Tim was very professional and knowledgeable of his trade. I'll use him again when the need arises!!

I called and left a message. He called me the next day. I told him what kind of machine I had (which was an older Singer with metal gears). He knew exactly the machine I had, asking if it was the tan and brown one. I said it was and he quickly told me the model series and was exactly right. I read reviews and saw he made house calls but knew his location and doubted he would want to come to Northwest Tampa. While his voice told me he was disappointed about the distance, he said he would come out. I was surprised! He came out the next day arriving when he said he would, although he had warned me that it would depend on traffic. He really knew his business. I didn't even ask him to fix the bobbin rewinder. He found the gear release was seized up and worked to get it working. I had even told him not to worry about it - that I had an external winder I used. But he did it anyway. He did all this in about 30 minutes - or less. He even offered tips on using this model which is a vintage model but new to me. All I can say is WOW! I was ready to give up on the machine and sell it but when I found out what that model was selling for, I thought it would be worth fixing - and at that price it certainly was. I'm thrilled!

Tim came to the house to repair a Singer sewing machine. He worked on the machine for about an hour, adjusting various mechanisms, cleaning and oiling the entire machine. The machine is now working perfectly. The $43 fee was very reasonable. I will definitely call him again.

I was able to get my machine repaired - completely due to Tim's help. I had first called the other place and was told they had too many machines ahead of mine so I wouldn't be able to get it done this week. After Tim's call, they told me to come right in. I was so thrilled to get the machine working. And very thankful for Tim's assistance.

My sewing machine seized up and would no longer run. My machine is a Kenmore made by Sears. After calling Sears on Park Blvd. and finding out that it cost $100 just to walk through the door with my sewing machine, I decided to check Angies list for a provider. I called Tim and left a message on his answering machine. He phoned me that evening and offered to come to my home to fix the machine. Since he lived near my daughter's house where I usually am during the day he allowed me to drop it off at his house. He told me it would cost $43 and I could pick it up the next day. He phoned me that evening and said it needed more work than he originally thought but it didn't need any parts so he was still going to charge me $43.. He also explained everything he did. I picked it up the next day and took it home. It now runs great!!!

He was great. It was the first time I met him. He was very knowledgeable, very informative, and he did a great job. I've had no problem with the sewing machine. I can't remember the price, but I wasn't shocked by it. He came here to my house.

Tim called me back promptly. He said that he didn't have any experience working on combo machines, but gave me two options to call a shop in New Port Richey or Tampa, who might service.

It was great. Most of the time I left him to it, but when I came around to look, it was clear he knew what he was doing. I even told him I thought he wasn't charging enough! Great guy.

Excellent results - fixed the jamming problem and then performed the normal maintenance, oil, remove dust, etc. Very nice man, professional and knows his stuff.

I tried to schedule a time for him to come out to service my sewing machine in my home, but I live too far away. If he were located closer I would have used him. He gave me advice over the phone even though I wasn't able to hire him.

My sewing machine was not working properly. I called Tim and he arrived promptly, soon after I called, and did a complete service on my machine. He also gave me a lesson on adjusting the tension myself to enable me to fix it when the tension when out again. Tim was personable,, capable and a pleasure to deal with. Our sewing machine would not pick up a stitch. We took it to a repair shop but their estimate for repairs were enough to buy a new machine. We looked on Angie's List and found Tim Malone. He had excellent reviews so we called him. He returned our call promptly and made arrangements to come to our house to repair our machine. Mr. Malone arrived promptly. He was very pleasant and profession. He was thorough and explained features on our machine that we had never used. He did an excellent job,and was very reasonable. I would definitely call him again.

Advised it was not worth fixing and to watch for Basic Singer sewing machines on sale. Showed how to install a new machine in cabinet.

Very responsive to return phone call and set up an appointment. Arrived early. I never had the machine maintained or serviced. He cleaned out a lot of lint and oiled parts that really needed it. He quickly finished the job and was very professional.

VERY PLEASANT AND WILLING TO EXPLAIN THE INSIDE WORKINGS OF MY MACHINE. HE HALVED HIS HOME VISIT SINCE THE REPAIR WAS NOT DIFFICULT. THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE!!
