Jason was awesome. We first called The Drain Team for a bad backup in our 1961 home. He cleared the blockage and videoed the entire system. He found roots in the sewer line going to the road, clogged vent pipes and what appeared to be a sagging pipe full of water under the bedroom. He cleaned the blocked vents and cabled the lines. He gave us an estimate for repairing the lateral that goes under our paver driveway and to excavate and repair the line under the bedroom. He suggested if we were to repair the lateral, they could hydrojet the rest of the house at that time to get a better view of the suspect bedroom pipe. A week later they were able to repair the lateral without having to take up any pavers. We opted for the hydro jet cleaning and they spent a couple hours cleaning out 60+ years of gunk. In doing so, they determined the bedroom pipe was, in fact, fine, just full of hard scale in a couple areas causing the pipe to hold liquid. By cleaning the pipes first saved me an over $3K repair and having to take up and replace the floor. Jason's integrity is beyond reproach. A lesser company would have jackhammered the floor. I called Jason back for another job to replace the original tub drain that had corroded into the almost closed position. Working in a small opening in a block wall, he was able to remove the drain and utilize the existing cast-iron trap to install a new assembly. Everything works great now. I highly recommend Jason of The Drain Team.
Description of Work: Clear blockage, cable pipes and vents, replace sewer lateral to the road, hydro-jet the entire system, and replace a 60 year old tub drain.

Our tech was Ronnie. He was very professional and friendly. He took time to explain our problem and what it would take to fix it. Some of the work had to be done under the house and he took pictures with his phone in order to show me the problem and how it could be solved. If I ever have any other problems, I hope Ronnie would be the one to answer my call.

I called The Drain Team at 1:00PM on a Saturday afternoon and was told that they would try to get someone to me that afternoon. When no technician was available, I received two phone calls from John in the office informing me of the status. At 5:00 PM I was informed that no one was available that day and they would get to me after church on Sunday, I called to let them know that I was now home and within two hours they had a technician at my home. Chris set out replacing the faulty faucet and did a great job cleaning the old sealant from the sink and installing the new fixture. After the installation Chris checked all connections for leaks and cleaned the up the residue from the installation, He finished in about one hour. Very happy with the job done and the professionalism of The Drain Team.

It was an all day project (roughly nine hours). Bill and his son did a very competent and professional job. They had to go in our attic with temperatures in the mid 90's. Did the diagnostics which took them more time than they anticipated. They had to make holes in three walls to get at plumbing which were done as neatly as possible. At this time everything is working properly. Hopefully, this home will have no further leaks since it was built in 2002 and Bill said it was unusual to have so many leaks in a short span of time. We must have had a bad piece of copper piping.

he Drain Team showed up on time, and first, did a video inspection of the drain line to be sure there was no major damage to the pipes. After that, the tech spent about three hours hydro-jetting the pipes. After that, the video inspection showed the pipes clean, right down to the old cast iron. I'm hoping the problem is now taken care of for a very long time.
Description of Work: Our house was built in 1959. The existing plumbing (waste) pipes from the kitchen also drain the laundry. Once or twice a year, the drains would slow so much we needed to have them routed out or the laundry would overflow when draining. I was tired of that problem, so decided to have the drain pipes hydro-jetted to clean them out better.

A pipe just under the concrete slab of my house sprung a pin-hole leak on 11/30/2015. Contacted The Drain Team the next morning and they sent out a plumber to access the situation- roughly 100 dollars. The leak couldn't be detected then-- it was causing hot water to come up from under my kitchen counter from the floor out. So I had to get a plumber with a sonar detection device to find the leak (another $285). Once the leak was detected, I was advised it was in the concrete slab/just below the surface such that the concrete slab would need to be Jack-hammered to access the pipe. This would then send vibrations throughout the floor that could potentially compromise the integrity of the existing copper pipes in the foundation of the house leading to possible leaks/water damage in the house in the future. They recommended I re-pipe the house to bypass the existing copper pipe system. Made sense to me, so I greenlighted the project, being told it would take 2-3 days to complete. And that's where the fun started.... That was December 1, 2015. It is now February 19, 2016 and the project STILL isn't finished. While the plumber Jon C. has been very nice, professional and has done a good job on what has been done so far, it has been almost 3 months of --we'll be there such and such a day to do such and such work -- the day comes and goes and nobody shows up, or, nobody shows up and excuses are given why nobody showed up. There have been too many days like this, which, obviously, detracts from their professionalism score to say the least. The work done so far on the re-pipe seems to be quality work, but time will tell. They bypassed the copper pipes in the walls and floors with red and blue plastic tubing above through the attic -- so, hopefully, that Florida heat in the summer in the attic won't cause any problems with them in the future. I have been assured they will last 40 to 50 years...but I have been assured a lot of things with this company that still haven't panned out. So, as of Friday, February 19, 2016, I still have a hose bib that needs done, exterior walls still have holes that haven't been patched or touched up, pvc pipes are still exposed on the wall of the Great Room that haven't been covered up by a column as promised/described as part of the work, holes exist in the Sheetrock / walks of my house where the plumbers cut into as access points to pipes and plumbing fixtures such as the sink, garden tub, toilets, etc. and, the refrigerator in my kitchen has been moved aside for 2 months now so the piping under it could get fixed to supply the fridge with a water line. Hire these guys if you want to see a project go for 3 months or longer. I know it's Florida and everybody is busy with other jobs and emergency jobs, but if you can't do a quality job professionally in a set amount of time, don't put a bid on it. Just tell them your specialty in unclogging toilets and sinks.

We had an emergency and couldn't get out bathroom toliet unclogged on a Sunday. Went to Angie's to find someone that was available on weekends. Called around based on reviews and the first person that didn't send me to voicemail was The Drain Team. John let us know they had a tech in the area but wasn't going to get to us till the end of the day. Tech arrived ontime and we explained that both bathrooms were now clogged and he gave us our options with camera scope and without, we opted for with and the lines were cleared and better news he let us know that the house we just purchased was all PVC with no root or breakage issues. We will call on them again if we have other plumbing issues. THANK You!!! Dan 320

I used the Drain Team's web Chat to speak to online reps who called my home phone about 6 hours later. We agreed to an arrival of a Drain Team rep for the following morning between 8:00 and 9:00 AM. Nick from the Dream Team was very professional and friendly. I was impressed with how patient he was in explaining to me the issues with our plumbing and even took the time to draw a diagram. After 17 hours of rain, the septic alarm went off. Called the Drain Team asking how to tell if it was a rain/runoff issue or our septic was really full. We were not successful walking me thru how to check it, so they sent a technician out at an estimated cost of $75. I explained to the technician that the men in the house had always taken care of it, but all had passed away, the last one very recently. I asked them to explain how the septic worked and how I could check it so that I didn't have any and quot;surprisesand quot;. He was very patient with me and explained everything. He inspected the whole system and said it was just water from the rain but had since drained, so no service was needed. He also explained how and how often to use septic treatments to keep it running smoothly. Then he waived the fee and simply said to always call the Drain Team for service! You can bet I will!

we noticed the problem Good Friday evening. I went online Saturday morning and contacted them. They came out in about 2 hours. They mentioned that to be precise they would have to get the leak detection guy out with his tool to specifically find where the leak was to avoid any unnecessary drilling of the slab or ripping up tile. He came out Saturday afternoon and spent about 1 1/2 hours pinpointing the area. This was a seperate charge of $250.00, but well worth it. he pinpointed the leak under a carpet in the living room rather than in the bathroom where we thought it had been. There was no charge for the first visit by a Drain team member.. They arranged to come out Monday morning to fix out. they called about 1/2 hour before to let me know he was on the way. Dan arrived about 9:00 AM. I had moved some furniture around , covered the rest, and Dan hung up some plastic to prevent dust from accumulating. The whole process lasted until 2:00. he was able to fix the leak, and re-cement the slab, and it was dry late that evening. I was very impressed with the company, their response on the Internet, and phone calls to advise me approximate times when they would arrive.especially since it was Easter weekend. I would recommend them to anybody. We have had no problems since.

Called The Drain Team and spoke with receptionist, scheduled an appointment the same day for a plumber to come out. Jose came out and gave me a quote for the replacement, and told me he could do the work first in the morning. Since the valve was leaking badly, and other plumbers could not schedule the work earlier, Although the quote was $100 higher than other quotes, I decided to spend the extra money and get the work done. I was tols that i would have to remove the drywall so he could do the repair. Jose and his helper came the next morning, on time and ready to work. That's when the experience started going afoul. They managed to spill PVC glue, scratch the new fixture, and mount the valve 1and quot; off center. The bathtub was left filthy with boot prints. I would never use this company again.

As of October I noticed it is once again leaking from the same spot. I called Drain Team and spoke to the office and they said they would send someone out but have to charge me for any work since they only guarantee for 30 days! I asked to speak to supervisor, and she said someone would return my call that way five days ago. I haven't heard back from them, and I still have a bucket under my sink! So I paid for a faucet I didn't need to begin with and the leak persists. Terrible company. I am going to report them to the Better Business Bureau.
Description of Work: I had a leak under my sink. Called Drain team and they came out and said I needed a new faucet. (even though mine was only two years old) Went to Handware store and got a new faucet. They installed it, and left, and the leak was still there. They then sent another plumbing out. He said something was loose and he tightened it and said it will be fine. That night everything was wet again!!! Called them and they sent out the original plumber, and he tightened something under the sink that was leaking. It was never the faucet! So I paid all this money for something that didn't need to be done! I have

They came out promptly and could not find the cause of the back up as the water had gone down and everything was working normally. Looked in all pipes with a camera- no issues on my property so no charge. Checked plumbing throughout the house to make sure everything was in good working order and provided an estimate for some future work that I asked for. No hard sales pitch. Prices they quoted me before coming out to clear a clog, and for future work were very reasonable.

The work went well and they were very personable and professional. I felt the price was fair considering the difficulty of getting to the leak and repairing old pipe.
