Description of Work: Our water heater exploded and flooded the house. Our initial call was about 11:30pm. We did not receive a call back until the next morning. A plumber was at our home within 2 hours. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and prompt.

Description of Work: The gentleman that they use to find leaks was excellent. He found the leak quickly in the yard. Then the Drain Team came the next day to repair. We had called another company first and that guy couldn't find the leak. He kept insisting it was in the house somewhere under the slab.

water heater repair
 + -1 moreOn 12/30/05 at 4:30pm, we noticed that our water heater(which sits on a platform above our washer and dryer)was leaking. We were in a panic, not only of a flood in our garage, but that it was Fri PM on a holiday weekend. We called the Drain Team after seeing that they didn't charge for emergencies or weekends. My husband was told that someone would call back in about an hour, and that someone would be out, but gave us an estimate of $600. We had to call back twice, when no one was showing up, and then finally at 9:30PM, a guy shows up to say that yep, you need a new water heater which we already knew, because it was about 20 yrs old. He then says that someone will call the next day to schedule. We had to call back at 11AM to find out the status. The tech then showed up at noon, looked at the space, left to get the heater, and returned w/a 38gal tank and installed it. He was nice, but I'm not sure about the price. Seems high for this size heater compared to store prices, and then 1 1/2 hrs of work.
Description of Work: Installed a 38 gallon, GE water heater with a 6 yr warranty.
