Poorly.. so far.. 3 weeks ordering parts and going on a week to actually get info my home to repair. Customer service and actually caring about my issue ZERO So Sorry I cant give Zero stars. Well this company takes repairs for Lowe's and I have a Samsung Fridge with 5 year warrenty and a known issue with the ice maker. So they got tasked to fix it.. they call and asked about the issue and then said they would order the part.. 2 weeks later i have to call them.. I'm then on the phone for 15 mins and they said they still need to order one more part.. 1 week later I call again.. they said they think its in and we make an appointment for friday morning. I asked if they could come out after 0900. So of course they guy calls me at 0730 and wants to come out in 15mins. I hurry home and go upstairs and I never hear the doorbell or anyone knock on the door. So it looks like he tried to call and left. I call the # and get the office and the lady at the office does not even answer the phone with the busienss name.. and then she cant hear what im saying and is like what do you need. I then get very frusticted having PTSD and I'm off the chart mad.. She said they will have to come back on Tues.. I told her I've already waited 3 weeks to get my ice maker fixed. She said sorry he tried to call and it will have to wait. So i put a complaint into Lowes and waiitng for the manager to call me. Terrible communications and customer service. Not sure why people cant use email.. so easy. Totally disappoint in this company.. if you get a chance do not use them. Terrible terrible company .. MORE the Next Week Once again a disappointment for an appointment. Ok so Friday they did not knock or ring the doorbell properly so I could actually hear there was someone at the door. I called and talked to the manager and they didn't really seem to care about my issue and said they can be there Tues morning.. So Robert once again calls at 0730 and proceeded to tell me he can be there between 2pm - 4pm.. I told them I needed the morning because I have to work after 1130am.. He said well I guess Ill have to come another day.. Customer Service is terrible once again.. So now we will see if Wednesday will be better and they can come at a time I will be around and actually knock on the door with their hand or push the button on the doorbell and hear it ring? I hope they can actually fix what is broken.. not feeling very comfortable with this company and their customer service at this point. I hope I can give more stars after they actually show up when I need them too.

This company was assigned to us as the warranty repair for our range hood. Ronnie, the serviceman came to replace the module. The first time he came, he said the module was not needed because the outside vent was missing the damper. So we have the dapper added. 2nd time he came, he cannot do it because the cover is attached to the wall too tight. So we have the dry wall/tiles re-done and whole range hood re-installed by the builder. The third time, he came and finally to replace the module. During the process removing the hood cover, Ronnie broke the tiles behind to cover; and he failed to place the cover back to where it is supposed. the cover is supposed attached to the wall all the way to the ceiling. Yet, Ronnie left the cover hanging in the middle of the wall where there is a huge gap between the cover to the ceiling. very unprofessional! We turned on the range hood that evening and the hood died after 15-45 minutes. Then the range hood died. We called the next day and talked to Jim, the supervisor. I sent the photos and asked why it was done incorrectly. Never received a response. Ronnie returned a day later to inspect the hood. He showed up 15 minutes ahead of appointment time when I was at the pool with my kids 5 minutes always. Family member called right away as Ronnie arrived and I hurry to get kids out of the pool. As we were walking home, family member called again and said Ronnie was ready to leave. I asked family member to get him to stay so I could talk to him in person. As we were running home, I also called the main office and asked the lady to inform Ronnie to wait for me, the lady agreed. This is really five minutes between my house and the pool. As we were getting close to my house, I saw Ronnie's van was pulling out from the driveway. I yelled and waived, the van did not stop. I could see Ronnie was on the phone as he was going to drive away. I sprinted to the side of Ronnie's van and knock on the driver window. Ronnie lower his window and the first thing he said was, don't you bang on my window! Well, if you have not been trying to drive away while you are on the phone, I won't have to run and knock on your window to get your attention. The guy is total confrontational and basically insulted me verbally in front of my house. I maintained my composure and asked what happened, Ronnie said he have completed his diagnose and need to order another the module. I went inside the house and check with my family member and reviewed the video in my house. Ronnie came in at 10:44 a.m., clicked on two buttons on the range hood; the he walked into the garage to check on the electric panel; came back inside the house and ready to leave. Total 5 minutes of diagnose and never a attempt to test module or do anything else. Right away, I called the office and explained the situation to Jim at 11:30 a.m. He said to look into it and went to lunch. I called again and tried to talk to Jim and Shelly, the warranty manager. However, the front office lady said that both individuals have left for the day. And that was at 2:30 p.m. I asked if they did not want to speak to me and the front lady said that "this is not what I said" Go figured! I left voicemails and emails to both of them and detailed out every step and the problem we have had. Of course, there was never a response. Ronnie, the serviceman was totally unprofessional in the technical and basic manner, and were unwilling to help or repair the range. Neither Jim or Shelly cares to take responsibilities for the Poor Quality of Appliance Services I have received. I have the broken tiles and the range hood cover hanging incorrectly. I would not recommend this company at all!

Over the years we have had varying experiences with service companies and their technicians. Most have been acceptable. Others have been unpleasant. Our recent experience with James of Quality Appliance Service was exceptional. James first came out to diagnose our problem with our three year old Samsung refrigerator’s ice maker. Within minutes he identified the issue and let us know that a number of parts would have to be replaced. He ordered the parts on site and let us know it would be a couple of weeks before the parts would be available. When James returned with the needed parts, he set to work immediately and explained what he was doing as he went along. Of importance to us, James had “sliders” to protect our flooring. We have always had to provide our own protective coverings when the refrigerator needed to be pulled out. James was knowledgable, courteous, thoughtful and professional in his workmanship. We highly recommend Quality Appliance Service and especially James for your appliance repair needs.

We've been using those people for 20 years. Even though he got promoted, we have the same guy come out and then we when ask for him, he will come. He has another area he works, but if we want him he comes. They're the only people who touch our appliances. First of all, we have high-end appliances and they're one of the few in the area that did service high-end appliances. They do an excellent job with the service. They come out, they fix it right the first time. You don't have problems with them. If it's not fixed right they come out and fix it correctly which has never happened. They kept our Maytag running until it actually couldn't. Adam said I'll tell you when you should not spend any more money on it, I'll keep it running as long as I can, but when it's to the point I just wouldn't let you spend any more money on it, I'll tell you and he did.

That's 20 years old, that's an antique. It's one of the first professional for residential. I don't remember the cost. It might've just been the service call, I don't know how much he could've done. They know their stuff. It's not an experiment; they know what they're done, and they just do it. They know their high-end equipment.

There were a couple of things with the icemaker if I can remember.They know what they're doing when they come out. They look at it. I think Adam was trying to fix it without using an expensive part in it. It's one of those things why I say they try to fix it for the least amount of money. They know what they're doing. They really try to fix your appliances quickly and efficiently.

We were referred to this company by Famous Tate to repair a 4-yr old Bosch dishwasher. The repairman said the motor was bad and needed replacement. Cost for new motor = $450, installed. Repairman ordered part & installed new motor (took addl 10 days). Later that same day, when I used dishwasher, it took over 6 hours to run through a normal clean cycle (usually takes only 1-2 hrs) and also wasn't heating the water. So, I called to schedule a follow-up repair. The lady who schedules appointments said earliest follow-up would be in a week. When the repairman did finally come back out, he said the problem now was a bad circuit board. Cost to fix = $300. He assured me it’s unrelated to motor problem. Bottom line: Now I need to replace this 4-year old dishwasher with a new model. Assuming they are being honest that the motor and circuit board had to be “replaced” and couldn’t be “fixed”,…. and assuming their replacing the motor didn’t somehow damage the circuit board,… their original misdiagnosis of the problem cost me $450 and a lot of time & energy.

I just used them a couple of days ago. It has been going on for about a week or so because parts, there again, they come from Ethiopia by camel. It is still under warranty for electronics. Their pricing is average. They fixed it. I had no problem with their response. They came and showed up without parts. They did apologize and come back the next day. I will use them again because there are not too many people that will work on Bosch appliances, especially dishwashers. That's a problem. I would not buy a Bosch appliance again.
Description of Work: Quality Appliance Company. I just used them with a lightening strike for a dishwasher repair.

Kevin quickly diagnosed the problem as a piece of broken glass that resulted from breakage in unloading the dishwasher months ago. We thought that we had retrieved all the glass chards, but we missed one which worked its way through the system and lodged itself in a position where it blocked the pump from switching on during the cycle to drain the dishwasher. The whole process took about 20-30 minutes and we didn't need to order or replace any parts. $99 for the service call and $36 for the labor. I will definitely call this company back again for any additional work we may need done on our Bosch appliances.
Description of Work: I found this company on the Bosch website as certified to work on Bosch appliances. We had a Bosch dishwasher that was no longer draining and had already had a plumber out to ensure that it was not a plumbing or clog issue. Quality Appliance diagnosed and fixed the problem promptly and efficiently.

Evil and Awful. They gave nothing but excuses as to why they cannot do this install and fix. I have a five year extended warranty through Fridgidare. We just moved here. They gave nothing but excuses. I got mad and kicked them out afterwards. Never ever use these guys or buy from Famous Tate. They are lazy money grubbers who give excuses. Never use.

Purchased new dishwasher 11th Oct 2013..after running it 4 times...soap dispenser would not open during cycle........Called Lowe's Service Advantage on 10/26/2013.......Lowe's set up appointment for following Tuesday morning with Quality Appliance Service....Tuesday morning verified with company they would be here between 10 and 12.....Mike the Tech arrived around 10:30..came in met the dogs and proceeded to work on the dishwasher, found the problem, fixed it, closed up and was out the door by 10:50.......Mike was pleasant and informative and quick to identify the problem......Overall a very pleasant experience

July 11: Quality Appliance sent out a technician to repair the dishwasher which was not draining. the technician had been here once before approximately two years ago when the appliance was installed and had the same problem. this time he said that the hose was kinked. there was a bit of debris in one of the filters and we should switch to a different detergent. he also indicated that the origiinal installation might be part of the problem. I was charged a service call and it worked for a few days. August 15: Having been out of town for two weeks, when we got back, it did not drain again. The same technician came out and said the problem was the installation which was incorrect and causing the hose to kink. he said that it should be reinstalled and that a plumber should do it. September 5 :. Our regular plumber arrived and said that the hose was kinked. he drilled another hole to place the hose away from the back of the machine and unkinked it. He said the hose was a part of the appliance and that the appliance person would have to replace it as it was a Bosch part. thereafter; I called Quality appliance to come out and replace the hose as it was not draining again. The office said the technician did not want to fix it because the installation was incorrect and that a plumber would have to do the reinstallation. September 12: plumber arrives and re-installed the dishwasher. he re- positioned it and anchored it with liquidnail as the counter is granite and he could not drill into it. (NOTE)The original install was liquid nail and we had no trouble for 2 years. Again the plumber said the hose would have to be done by the appliance tech. So I called the QA technician and asked him to speak to my plumber over the phone to make sure the information was right. He refused to talk to the plumber and kept insisting the unit had to be re-installed. Which of course, the plumber had just done. the QA tech agreed to order the new hose and install it. In the meantime, the office called me to let me know that the cost would be around $275 plus the hose. The hose was about 30 dollars. I insisted on a consideration for this going on and on. they eventually agreed to split ;the labor costs and I would also pay for the part.. September 23: the technician came out. and said that the new hose was the wrong one. I asked him who ordered it. He said the QA parts department. While he was here he vacuumed out a small piece of glass from the filter. he said he would go back to the shop and find out what happened with the hose order and the office would call me the next day. september 24. the office called me to tell me that they were and quot;backing out of this projectand quot; The employee I talked to was not polite and felt that all that had occured was not due of their service. She said that by all rights they should charge me a service call for the visit with the wrong hose, but that she would not. She then gave me the name of an applicance installer to call. Quality Appliance was recommended to me as a certified Bosch appliance repair shop when I bought the applicance. I hope Bosch reads this. Now I have to find the correct hose and get an installer to take care of it. This has been a nightmare and a lot like a tennis match. and quot;No the plumber has to do it...no the appliance tech has to do it.and quot; etc. I hope this saves someone from having the same experience.
Description of Work: The provider was supposed to fix a two year old dishwasher which was not drainiing. After three visits from Quality Appliance and two from the plumber at their insistence, I have been doing dishes by hand for two and one half months. Today they called to say they were "backing out of doing the repairs" as they had only charged us the original service charge and did not see that their service was a cause of the problem....which is still not draining. I have seldom encountered such lousy service, belligerent attitudes and lack of professionalism.
